Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

Happy Birthday Hugs

Phone your dsis and get it over with, blame it on your hormones. Better to do it sooner rather than later. Ouch about the mastitis, I hope that eases up soon.

Mothers imo are all quite odd Pink. Mine loves to try and analyse all her 4 dc, usually to one or the other of us, which normally ends up with us each talking about her and analysing her behaviour.

I have 2 boys currently asleep. But the small big one is driving me insane with his separation anxiety. It has now started to affect him going to bed, aaarrrrrrgggghhhhh how long will it last?

charleymouse · 27/01/2009 12:37

TMAM know what you and Jam mean, DH tells me he hasn't slept properly since G A was born. So when I am getting up as he is snoring then he is having trouble sleeping.

LG&T so sorry, they just don't get it do they. Second TMAMs idea do it now and then you can blame the hormones when you rip her head off and poo down her neck have cross words. Was that a little strong if so I do apologise. I feel your pain re the mastitis. Sending you a good suck to help clear it up. Happy birthday Hugo.

Right does anybody want to baggsy these CP day passes I have. I have three and each pass admits 2 adults so would need to combine us to get the most benefit. I think it is about £17 to be a day visitor. AM and Joesmrs will know. Tilly were you popping over, how about you Abby, Sky, LG&T & Nim?

Joesmrs we know you are mad anyway

AM sorry you are feeling yucky. We will take it in turns to hold your hair. The coffe shop were doing a gingerbread coffee over new year, maybe that will help. What have you got DH April for his birthday. Tis a good week for birthdays methinks.

No news is good news Elkie, I think.

Sky good luck with the jobs.

Themasterandmargaritas · 27/01/2009 13:13

Help, I am cringeing. Sleep deprivation led me to say something silly about dd's poetry reading competition in the school playground and i sounded like an arse. I am . Now they will all talk. Oh well.

charleymouse · 27/01/2009 13:14

Fess up TMAM. It will not seem so bad once you have shared it

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 27/01/2009 15:21

Charley - I'm not mad (much). I'm on the second farkin row tomorrow night and I'm just so excited!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to meet you at CP. Glad AM thinks my NKOTB thing is funny and hasn't barred me from the lodge yet.

SKYTVADDICT · 27/01/2009 16:36

Ouch LG&T - hope that mastitis clears soon.

Charley don't think we can make cp even for the day I am afraid.

Oh dear TMAM - what did you say?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 27/01/2009 16:43

CM - Scoot mentioned something about seeing if she could come for the day.

largeginandtonic · 27/01/2009 16:44

What are the CP dates again?

I will phone my sis, must 'man up' about it.

What did you say TMAM???

Come on Elkie...

MKG the shower sounds fabulous, lucky you. Cant believe you only have a few weeks to wait!

MrsJoewhatever i am LOL at you and the vomit fest before the concerts and even more PMSL about your mother being concerened about it all Toooooo funny for words. Tell her you are getting in to a childs mind set again in preparation for A when she grows up

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 27/01/2009 16:51

We are there from 6 - 9 Feb LG&T - but full days on 7 and 8. Try and come, I know it's a tad busy for you at the mo!

I'll get L to sing Hangin Tough for you at CP, she loves it.

How is that gorgeous baby girl?

JamInMyWellies · 27/01/2009 17:03

Pj my love we know your bonkers but thats why we love you. Bless your mother though.

Elkie wont be long now.

TMAM what did yuo say? Also bit confused chicken and chorizo???? Sorry all are coming down with the D&V.

AM hopefully J will get in. I found crisps were a majic tonic for the morning sickness.

MKG am very of your baby shower I wish they did things like that here.

Good luck with the CV sky.

Just had the HV here for the 6wk, check I am not suicidal chat. The general conclusion was I am a bit mad but thats to be expected. She also weighed the wee man he is 11 lb 8 oz such a little chubba.

DP got a pardon last night by getting takeout for tea and then waking twice in the night with me when L woke to check if I needed a hand. it wont last but at least he tried it does mean I will have to spend all eve with him complaining about being knackered though.

Happy B-day Hugs. LG&T hows the nips is it getting easier?

Themasterandmargaritas · 27/01/2009 17:47

It was a real pfb moment, dd had a house poetry reading competition, 4 kids from each class go through to next round etc etc. All mummies secretly tried to act like they weren't bothered but there was lots of extra coaching and incentives on offer to the little darlings. My pfb chose her poem and learnt it in 5 minutes, is a total show off and in her own words is 'born to be on the stage' She didn't get chosen, she wasn't bothered, but dh was, and said he was surprised given that she is one of the naturally good ones in the class so I said probably the teacher decided to choose those not as good as dd as a confidence boost to them as dd doesn't need any ego boosting. So of course I repeated this in the playground, tired as I was, without engaging brain and thinking about what it actually meant, a) that I sounded like a pissed off parent b) that their dc weren't as good as mine Oh god I'm not very good at the politics of all of this. In future I think I will just shut up and listen. LG&T I bet you are diplomacy personified.

Elkie has gone very quiet....

Jam can J join A in the toddler from hell with spirit camp? Do you not remember giving me a chicken and chorizo recipe??? How is the mad hound by the way?

MKG · 27/01/2009 19:15

Hey all. good news on the baby front. I had an ultrasound done today that showed she's 5 lbs 3 oz so 41% which is good and my sugars are doing great so nothing but happiness here. I just need to keep everything going and all will be good.

JamInMyWellies · 27/01/2009 20:33

Great news MKG.

elkiedee · 27/01/2009 23:56

Only quiet because we had a shed being put in our garden (out the back of the house) today so dp kindly dealt with letting people in and out and suggested I rest upstairs out of the way. The bedroom was lovely and sunny this morning so still warm for a while after the heating had gone off. Some reading, some sleep, a nice lazy day.

Still fed up though!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 09:26

Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tillyscoutsmum · 28/01/2009 10:50

Good news MKG

TMAM - just the sort of thing I can see myself doing as well. Foot in mouth disease. I gave you the recipe btw (no wonder poor Jam is confused )

Joe ??

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 10:51

It's tonight Tilly! And I'm on the second row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JamInMyWellies · 28/01/2009 10:55

Thankgod Tilly really thought I was losing my marbles.

Mrsjoe you crack me up I am a bit worried we are going to hear about a mad stalker of NKOTB being arrested for jumping on the stage.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 10:56

I am at my desk, fashioning a human catapult.

Tillyscoutsmum · 28/01/2009 10:58

PMSL Joe Have you got some clean undies to throw on stage at him ? Its NKOTB mania atm - a few of my FB friends went to see them in Birmingham last week.

Will let you know about CP. I would love to meet you all but am away this weekend and on a local mn meet up next Friday night and I suppose I really ought to consider spending some time with dh at some point

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 11:01

We're all enjoying being 14 again, Tilly.

AprilMeadow · 28/01/2009 11:12

Tilly please dont encourage her!!!!! I have told her to behave especially as she is hoping to get Lexie hocked up with Joe's son!

MrsJoe, have a fabulous time tonight. I saw that a friend of mine on FB went to see them and has posted pictures.... is Joe the slightly bonder one? Was a tad too young to have been a massive fan back in the day and the only one i know is Jordan.

Went to the dr's yesterday to see if there was anything i could take to make this horrid nausea go away and he basically told me to man up! I wanted to smack him in the mouth. If i was being sick then there is stuff i can take but as i am not i just have to suffer. I cried my eyes out when i got in the car. I am not loving it at the moment. I want just one day where i dont feel yuk and dont look like such a miserable cow!

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 11:14

Yes he is AM. He's mine, though. [territorial emoticon]

The sickness is absolutely horrendous, I am so sorry you are feeling poo. Have you tried the pressure bands? I thought they helped a little.

AprilMeadow · 28/01/2009 11:16

It's ok I will stick to Mark & Gary

I have found this 'stick' thing that will come tomorrow that is supposed to help. Fingers crossed

charleymouse · 28/01/2009 11:37

April and MrsJoe I do not want you to think we are pushing our way in on your holiday so do you want to tell me what would be your preference. re visiting/meeting up. What day? What time? Whether you actually do want to meet this strange woman from Sheffield? Don't want to crash your hols and put you out but would love to meet you all.

Ooh is Scoot coming as well? Scoot are you ? Are you?

Are you looking forward to tonight perchance MrsJoe?

Sky sorry you won't be able to make it.

LG&T man up woman for heavens sake. Don't worry we know how you are feeling it is just a pain that those closest to you can't see it. It will all be alright, I promise. The offer of a bed is there if you need it as well.

Jam I know what you mean with the HV chats she used to visit so regularly, you could almost see them ticking boxes. Well done on the weight you must be feeding him good stuff.

TMAM sounds perfectly reasonable thing to say if you ask me. She is obviously the best and doesn't need the boost like some of the others.

MKG well done on the sugars, just keep going.

Ooh sounds a lovely day Elkie, why are you fed up?

Oh Tilly you get to see DH all the time, you know he wants to go cycling anyways I have just had an invite from Saros research for an accompanied shop in London Birmingham and Manchester if you are interested. The project is about Bodycare and involves taking part in a 2 hour group or 90 minute accompanied shop. If you are selected to participate there is an incentive payment of 60 pounds. PLEASE NOTE:- This particular client likes to have photographs of recruited respondents to put in a little report. Therefore when recruited you may be asked to send us a photograph in. Can send you further details if you like.

Oh April so sorry you feel rough. Have you tried all the usual, ginger biscuit before getting out of bed, eating little and often, ginger tea, etc how about a seasickness band/bracelet.
