Morning all.

Especially LG&T and India.

I will be requiring lengthy cuddles.

I shall be singing Hush Little Baby for the duration.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 11:38

No, you must come. Saturday is probably the best day, AM is heading home on Sunday night.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/01/2009 12:52

Tilly You see I have you two gorgeous ladies confused in my mind. It was a lovely recipe.

JamInMyWellies · 28/01/2009 12:58

Fuck DP just been told he is at risk of redundancy we will find out in 2wks. Just when i had finally got him to come clean about the amount of debt we are carrying from the heady days before we met. Its not pretty. If it happens and he cant get another job fairly quickly then we are in some serious trouble.

MKG · 28/01/2009 13:05

Oh Jam--I'm sorry. Try not to worry too much.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/01/2009 14:20

Oh Jam Fingers crossed for you both. Did he have a feeling it might come to this? Has he already been looking for another job?

AprilMeadow · 28/01/2009 15:35

Charley you absolutely must come! I will be leaving at about 7pm on the Sunday. Either day is fine by me...

Oh JAM so sorry that you have all this extra stress to contend with. Life is just not fair. I will keeps my fingers crossed that he is safe x

MKG · 28/01/2009 15:40

On a cooking note. I am making cupcakes, but I'm making them in ice cream cones! I took flat bottomed cones covered them in foil, but them in muffin pans, then filled them about halfway with batter. The rose pretty well, and the cones didn't burn, I'm going to top them with chocolate icing and sprinkles, and they will look just like ice cream cones. I'm a genious (and so is the lady that wrote the book I'm doing it from)

AprilMeadow · 28/01/2009 16:35

MKG they sound amazing! Send some over this way pleeeeaaaasssseeeee

MKG · 28/01/2009 17:08

It's on the way

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2009 17:11

MKG fab news on the baby She will be here before you know it! The cakes sound fab too.

Jam i am so sorry, i really hope he is spared. You really don't need the extra stress atm. Great news on the chubby boy though!

I have a chubby girl too, she lost 3oz in her first 5 days but has jumped to 9lb 12oz in the next 5 days! Hooray for good a good feeder. The nips are on the mend and the mastitis has gone. Thank goodness.

Nim have FB you. Thank you, thank you for the lovely baby clothes, they are so sweet.

I am in discussion with Nim about CP, ideally we will come for the Saturday and stay in a Travel Lodge type place overnight. I can't wait! Am just seeing in Nim can come too we need to hijack bum space in her car

We bought a new TV today, DH is in his element. I have bought 2 feeding bras and am in my element I am a 34 F ffs. The biggest i have even been, bet it still vanishes to nothing...

April you need to go for some acupuncture, some maternity wards do it for free. It really is fantastic. Have you cosidered the possibility there may be more than 1 mini April in there... i felt sooooo rough with the twins from early on. Just a thought

Finally MrsJB a HUGE THANK YOU for the most gorgeous baby clothes for Indie. I love them.

Right tea time soon, the girl will be stirring.

MKG · 28/01/2009 17:17

34F! Can you walk with those things in front of you?

LG&T e-mail me your address so I can send you something. I have my eye on a few things at work, just let me know what size you need.

MKG · 28/01/2009 17:19

Oh and I taught Cruz to kiss. It is so cute. I make a MMMM sound and he leans in for a kiss. So cute. Except when he comes in with his mouth wide open. I tried explaining that girls don't really like that approach, but I don't think he gets it yet.

JamInMyWellies · 28/01/2009 17:28

Thanks, he thought he would be safe as he has loads of projects on the go. He did find out there would be 3mth gardening leave and he has a mate who has a recruitment consultancy so has started the hunt its just v unfortunate in the current climate to work in banking. Maybe he could retrain as a gigilo.

LG&T that is a lovely weight. Blimey those knockers are huge.

MKG chuck a few of those cakes my way. A too makes the mmmm noise.

AM what about reflexology? Sorry you feel pants.

AbbyLou · 28/01/2009 17:36

Hi I'm off out to celebrate Chinese New Year tonight at a restaurant with some work friends, realy looking forward to a night out actually.
AM sorry you're not feeling well. I hated that feeling. I hope it passes soon.
Jam, what a worry for you. Fingers crossed your dh is spared.
I'd love to meet you lot (finally) at CP but I'll be at work all that week, it's half term the week after.

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2009 17:46

Tis a weekend Abby!!!

Beau does the kiss too, it is WET...

Are my norks as big as Pinks? Bet she is flaunting them in a ridiculously low cut top tonight

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/01/2009 18:28

The Hussy. You can just see it can't you. Bet she tries to get a snog as well. Perhaps she has brought a pair of knickers to throw as well

Is there history of twins in the family April?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 28/01/2009 19:33

You lot know me far too well. My top is indeed low cut. There are loads of girls in big bloody hats in front of me, if you see me on the news later, you know why...

charleymouse · 29/01/2009 00:15

Well got back from a nice meal, SIL had the DC ad they had not missed us one jot. Think we will have to take her up more often on the babysitting offer Think it was the first evening meal we have had out together since G was born.

MrsJoe give them a scouse kiss.

G likes kissing as well. He even holds two toys together and makes kissy noises.

LG&T glad you are feeling better. Hope you can make it next week.

Ooh yes MKG yes please throw one over here.

Oh Jam hope DH is okay.

April I'm afraid I felt rougher with the boys than with DD, sorry to panic you but just brace yourself in case. Happy birthday to Mr Meadows.

Abby hope you had a lovely meal, on a school night tsk.

TMAM hows the African office coming along?

Night night all,

SKYTVADDICT · 29/01/2009 07:13

Sorry to hear about DHs job Jam. Fingers crossed for him.

Glad you are feeling better LG&T, her weight sounds good.

I haven't had L weighed for weeks - tried to sit him on our scales the other night and think he weighs about 17lb but he was a bit wobbly - may go to clinic today.

MKG - those cupcakes do sound delicious.

Cutting down on cake and chocolate seems to be going ok - I am still having some in case L goes into shock at the taste of bm without sugar!

I have also walked to pick DD2 up twice this week and when you are as unfit as me pushing the double buggy is knackering so must be doing me some good.

C kisses L all the time - on the lips 2 - it does sound very noisy. He kisses the rest of us as and when he feels like it which can sometimes be loads and sometimes not at all.

Hope you had a good time PJ.

We are going out saturday for the first time in ages with 2 other couples for a surprise 40th bday meal for 1 of them. Unfortunatley either me or DP has to pick DD1 up from a pary at 11pm so one of us can't drive. He said she could go but I am not happy. We never get to go out together and have a drink and relax etc and now one of us can't!

Hello to everyone else x

AprilMeadow · 29/01/2009 08:21

LG&T at the norkage!

Yes we have considered the fact it might be more than 1. I guess we will find out on Tuesday

charleymouse · 29/01/2009 11:43

Sky well done on the chocolate and cakes. Sorry DP has spoilt your night out, can you get a friend of DDs parents to collect her for you?

April have you any nice plans for Mr Meadows birthday? It could also just be you feel sickly as every pregnancy is different April, no point in worrying about anything until you have something to worry about.

MrsJoe hope you can still hear.

Morning everyone

AprilMeadow · 29/01/2009 12:35

We are having a party tea this afternoon for dh and then a big party on saturday night.

Spoke to MrsJoe and she was a tad disappointed that her 'man' Joey looked knackered.

MrsJOe, hope all went well xxx

MKG · 29/01/2009 12:41

I always like Donnie, especially now as he turned his boy band image around and became a respected actor.

charleymouse · 29/01/2009 12:54

Ooh lovely we are having a bit of a do on Saturday as well, trying to work out what will be easiest to prepare, think we are having hot roast beef & pork sandwiches, roasties, yorkshires, stuffing and gravy. [lick lips smiley] Got to sort out the vegheads yet though Any recommendations anyone?

MrsJoe we all know why Joe is knacked though don't we

charleymouse · 29/01/2009 12:54

MKG those cup cakes were delicious.
