I'm cutting back! I couldn't take the cold turkey, the withdrawal was too much .

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 20/01/2009 23:43

what's all this running!?! no, don't think I could run to my front door! I had a look at the fitness dvds today... anyone tried the Davina's one? I've been trying the wii fit, it's not bad really, but I think I need a bit more "movement" first for all the wobble...

well, after two 12hr nights I was so happy (though not 12 hrs for me), but obviously she thought mummy would get bored so she was up for over an hour watching tv last night... I'm kind of "shall I go to bed or shall I wait to make sure she's asleep?".. and the flippin' fridge is off on one again......

foxytocin · 21/01/2009 03:12

Pacita · 21/01/2009 09:41

Somebody come and shoot me, please. this is the third night of sleep deprivation, after I thought the growth spurt that finished a week ago. D fed every 2 hours all night, and in between he'd wake up and demand to be given back his dummy. (A double edged sword, the dummy).

What's going on? Could it be that the osteopath treatment has made him wakeful? I am so tired my brain feels like cotton wool.

Also, I still have a sore, red spot in my nipple which does not seem to go away and I have no idea what it is. It is in the areola, and it burns when D feeds. Any ideas?

Foxy where is this meet again?

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 21/01/2009 09:48

pacita sorry, no idea...

foxy great site that one (wished I could make the meeting but I'd surely get lost by myself...), need s.thing to cover M's head as she screams blue murder everytime she has a hat on, so there are a couple of things I'd like on there (not the £120 coat though )....

M's definetly starting waking up again and feeding like mad, plus takig forever to sleep. she kept on chatting/kicking balnkets, torturing her rabbit, punchimg me... and we really needed the sleep, especially DP as he's driving to Leeds tonight after the DCs have gone to bed....

plusonemore · 21/01/2009 10:03

pacita when ds had the cranial osteopathy she said it might make him grouchy or sleepy, he was a bit of both so yes it could just be that. Fingers crossed it wont go on too long for you x

lollyheart · 21/01/2009 10:21

hopefully my email address is lollyheart 81 at hotmail . com

Fraser had another good night in his cot slept from 8.30 woke up for a for a quick feed at 6.30 then went back to sleep till 8.30, i think he was to cramped in his basket.

eandz · 21/01/2009 11:21

eh, none of you gained 8 stones in your pregnancy.

1 hour isn't hardcore it's desperation. but yes, my doctor has had me on a crazy strict diet to help get the weight down. i've lost 3 stones and still have another 5 to go. so lets hope it comes off.

on the noah front, not much has changed. we did up the dosage yesterday for the afternoon and evening times of the medication. last night was horrible compared to the evening before. the night before was the best night we've had in a while. not sure why.

my aunt and uncle came over last night to check on noah bear. i had fallen asleep in front of the computer, so my husband had him for the first shift. when i woke up, i thought i'd only been sleeping for a minute. kinda horrifying to know my relatives saw me on the sofa like that.

foxytocin · 21/01/2009 11:38

the meet is in Farncombe.

I have that £120 coat. the Suse's Kindercoat. It is fab for babywearing though. And can get at least £50 for it in about 3 yrs time when I will sell it on. So not a bad investment if you are into this babywearing malarky.

The inner fleece can be worn separately from the outer shell you in effect you have 3 coats too.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 21/01/2009 11:46

should have known really that you had it . I quite like the poncho.... I'm spending faaaaaaaaaaar too much on cloth nappies as it is, and trying to limit my sling addiction is hard enough without getting into this too, though I might get the fleece vest ... what's the best for value soft carrier? don't like buckles though, I always end up breaking them or getting my figers caught in them

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 21/01/2009 11:47

*eandz" wow, 3 st!! what's this miracle diet!?

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 21/01/2009 11:48

meant to add "well done" but stupid pad is so sensitive...

foxytocin · 21/01/2009 11:53

a mei tai. you can start using it from now till 3 yrs old. i still use a 'baby' size mt wit dd1 who is over 30 lbs.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 21/01/2009 12:06

thanks... just so many to choose from... think it might be easier for when I'm flying home at easter...

added some pics to my profile, hadn't seen the ones on there alredy for some time and she's grown soooooooo much

foxytocin · 21/01/2009 12:13

can't say, pacita. can you drop in at the bf cafe and ask? if it was on the nipple, i'd say latch but looking at it makes more sense.

Jenbot · 21/01/2009 13:09

sunflower - aw she looks so happy! What a lovely girl!

eandz - well done with your weight loss, 3 stone is great.

sunflower again Everyone in RL keeps mentioning Davina's dvd ths week for some reason, so I'd guess it must be good.

hopefully don't worry about looking bad compared to me, I'm hopeless at getting places on time and without looking a complete mess. Yesterday I walked to a birthday party so fast coz I left 20 mins late that when I got there everyone kept asking if I was ok, they thought somethign bad had happened to me on the way! And this morning I was late picking ds1 up from pre-school because ds2 did an exploding poo just as I was about to leave.
