Any news from Ooogs ladies??? I'm going to link this thread to ours so we can all watch with baited breath

Eddas · 20/01/2009 07:15

Absolutely ROFL @ fluffy melons and oooggs' waters going as soon as DH walked through door!!

EXCITED!!!!!

[girn]

She must have had it by now!!!?

Eddas · 20/01/2009 07:44

If oooggs were me she'd not have had it yet but then i'd not be in labour for another month

CaptainDippy · 20/01/2009 07:46

LOL Eddas

Ooooh, my DD2 gave up dummies last night .... I hope!! The "Dummy Fairy" worked!!!!!!

CaptainDippy · 20/01/2009 07:47

If oooggs has the baby today (which I would bloomin' hope she does!!), he/she will share a Birthday with my foster dad, who would be 69 today. He died in 1999. Special.

ithinkpeshasmells · 20/01/2009 08:04

It is her 3rd labour even if it isn't her 3rd baby, and aren't they notoriously worse than 2nd ones?

I haven't heard from her and i'm off to work soon, i'll need an email to my work address when we get any news!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 20/01/2009 08:05

Am back as me

PillockOfTheCommunity · 20/01/2009 09:06

Was about to start a new thread, but thought it might be nice to wait until we have news and then put that right at the beginning of the thread? Or as the title?

If you agree then please feel free to start one when you get news!

MJreturns · 20/01/2009 09:21

I got the text at half one in the morning! Wouldn't normally have my phone upstairs but I take it when dh is on nights. Don't know why really as I have a perfectly functioning land line up there too!
Very exciting, come on oooggs!

Bramshott · 20/01/2009 09:22

Ooohhhhh!

Good luck Oooggs! Soooo exciting!!!!!!!

Will check back in 5 mins (and then every 5 mins) for news!!

Bramshott · 20/01/2009 09:24

I do that too MJ! Although I think it's a good idea as the fireman who came round to do our home safety check (swoon!) said that as most fires are caused by something electrical, and most phones won't work in a power cut these days, you should always have a mobile in the bedroom overnight. So really you are being super sensible and safe! Not sure, knowing this, why I don't take it up when DH is here - as if by his very prescence he will somehow make an electrical fire not happen !

cazboldy · 20/01/2009 09:38

Bramshott

Yay to dd2 and the dummy fairy...... my siser's ds still has his at night and he is 6!!!!!!

But I think it is sheer laziness on her part!

My 3rd labour was exremely quick, and dh ended up delivering him, but I think they re always different to what you expect.......

have a friend coming over this morning who I haven't seen in a couple of years so I won't be able to pop on every 5 mins!

liath · 20/01/2009 09:38

I really must get a nice fireman to pop round sometime and do a safety check here .

Come on Oooggs - PUSH!!

geordieminx · 20/01/2009 09:45

I'll come over that day Liath

C was in the kitchen playing withhis toy kitchen and a couple of pots and pans that I had given him...5 minutes later I went i to discover he had managed to get the eggs out of the fridge... 4 of them were cracked into the bowl that he was stiring, along with some chocolate footballs and some cheese

Northernlurker · 20/01/2009 10:10

Oooooooooooooh!

I knew sex would do the trick - one way or the other!

cazboldy · 20/01/2009 10:14

lol gm..... molly keeps geting peas out of the fridge/freezer

Pesha · 20/01/2009 11:15

Yay for Oooggs!!

I got the text from Ellie at half 1 ish but not because it woke me up but because Nathan did (calling 'Mummy Mummy' in a panicy voice so I raced in thinking he was being sick or something only for him to say sleepily 'I keep getting left on my own' and then go back to sleep! ) and I looked at my phone to see what the time was! And then J texted me this morning asking If Ellie thinks he is still on nights because he got a text from her in the middle of the night saying that 'some oogs person' is having a baby!! Think he must have been bundled in with 'MNers' in Ellie's phone!

CaptainDippy · 20/01/2009 11:50

Popping in, waiting for oooggs' news ....
