Rocky road - 250g bashed up rich tea biscuits, 175g melted butter, 250g dark chcolate and 150 g milk chocolate - melted, some marshmallows cut in 1/2, 4 table spoons of golden syrup. Mix all together and spooon into trays then fridge until set. Yummmmmmmmmmmy!

Oooggs - when you've done your floor just nip up and do mine would you?

I hope you've got dh lined up for a bit of (ahem) action tonight? That's the only thing that works you know! There's a pleasing logic in it - that's how the baby got in there so that should help it get out!

oooggs · 17/01/2009 19:49

dh is at work til midnight and ds1 is sharing our room (just while the building work is going on) so won't be doing that tonight

I have done loads today, kitchen & utility floors, lots of hoovering

now eating chocolate digestives

maybe I will try and induce seduce him in the morning

Northernlurker · 17/01/2009 19:50

Aha - nesting behaviour! Excellent! One shag tomorrow and you'll be off like a rocket!

Right better go nurture my family....

PeshaYouAreInBigTrouble · 17/01/2009 19:56

Yesterday I let Pesha have my password so she could look at some photos on my profile She's changed the bloody password!

Just typed all this, got very cross when remember my password wasn't working, then worked out it must be her playing tricks

Have now logged in using my other MN account and will make her suffer when we visit next week!

So, on to what I was trying to say

evening all

my boys were both 40+4

Leaky - are you flying to Ireland? I only ask as I know a lot of airlines won't take babies under either 4 or 6 weeks old so unless you're early you wouldn't be able to fly.

J playing up big time, off to read the riot act again

PeshaYouAreInBigTrouble · 17/01/2009 19:56

It's Ellie btw

CallMeHun · 17/01/2009 20:01

She hadn't changed my password at all, she's changed my nickname. To THIS [SHOCK]

Just you wait girl - I WILL get you

Off to very swiftly change back now

ithinkpeshasmells · 17/01/2009 20:02

oooggs · 17/01/2009 20:09

ithinkpeshasmells · 17/01/2009 20:25

CaptainDippy · 17/01/2009 20:29

cazboldy · 17/01/2009 20:41

went to see about changing cars today...... offered us about half of what we wanted for ours......

can't think why noone wants to buy 4x4's atm

leakyR · 17/01/2009 20:43

PHEW!! Just checked the Jet2 website and we can fly if LO is 14 days or more old.
CD I remember the photos from your SIL wedding, you looked lovely. I fully expect to be Leaky that day. However I have insisted that we have a nice room in the reception hotel so I can slip away if and when necessary. G will be in Wales with the ILs.

My brain is jelly - totally forgotten everything I've just read. Been up since 4 and didn't sleep much before that with my cough and mucus filled head.

Off in the bath to unblock my nose.

ithinkpeshasmells · 17/01/2009 20:45

PHEW indeed!
So now we all have to keep our fingers crossed for you that you don't go ridiculously overdue

ithinkpeshasmells · 17/01/2009 20:47

Trying to find out whether my driving licence (medically restricted) is valid for me to drive abroad. Can't find it anywhere. Everywhere I look sends me somewhere else.
Also trying to find out if I can take my medication abroad (is not legal in some countries as it's basically speed) but that just takes me round in circles too.
GRRRRRRR

oooggs · 18/01/2009 07:56

blimey you lot stopped posting early - now I went to bed - did everyone else have a boozy Saturday night????????

Sexonlegs · 18/01/2009 08:13

Morning Oooggs, thought you would still be in bed seducing your dh

No boozy night here - 1 glass of wine, crap tv and bed. We were out Friday night though with parents of 1 of B's friends and had a great night

What's everyone up to today?

liath · 18/01/2009 08:14

CaptainDippy · 18/01/2009 08:29

StealthPo09IsHere · 18/01/2009 09:42

hi everyone

ithinkpeshasmells · 18/01/2009 09:54

You should see me when I've just taken the 2nd dose - hyper isn't the word! Wears off very quickly though, by the time it gets to 5pm I'm getting tired already.

I was taking the boys to London today but Joe seems to be in pain and is all calpol-ed up so I'm not gonna brave it after all. Might go to the coast and aquarium instead.

runnyhabbit · 18/01/2009 10:46

Good morning all

Plans for the day (in no particular order)
finish watching scooby doo 2
get boys to wake dh (he had a call out 11pm last night, think he's slept for long enough though)
shower
dress
watch Dancing on Ice
Cook dinner
Go out for walk somewhere

oooggs - most def up for an easter meet-up, so I can become all broody-- meet the latest addition
and I think cleaning the kitchen floor kicked started things for W....

sol - pants about redundancy. Agree with NL, and would def chat with the nursery about your predicament. Btw, how's you mum?

MJ - yes to tea after school. Will text you x

best get on

have a good day all
x

runnyhabbit · 18/01/2009 10:50

ellie - (not wanting to make light of things, obv) But can I please have some of your meds? I have a terrible lack of energy all the time between 4 and 7pm, so if they wore off after a short time, it would suit me fine

So who's up for a SW Easter meet up then?

phdlife · 18/01/2009 10:59

g'day you lot

big squeeeezy hugs to you (if that isn't too mushy for MN)

cazboldy · 18/01/2009 12:41

oooh are you in Oz now Phd?
