MJreturns · 18/01/2009 18:26

Hi all.

Caz, hope you have sorted things out with dh Men just never change do they!

Dooby, poor little M, hope he is much better again soon xx

Hun, lol at Pesha at her name changing!!

Oooggs, hope the floor cleaning works for you. Keeping my fingers crossed. Yes to Easter meet up too, can't wait to meet the newest addition to the April thread

Runny, Weds after school are the best days for me as I tend to work Thurs and Fri, go to fat club on Mondays and then ds has swimming on Tuesdays! Would a Wednesday be any good to you?

Hi to everyone else xxx

oooggs · 18/01/2009 19:59

oh dooby - come back to England and I hope M feels better soon

sol - seducing dh this morning didn't happen, I would have probably had more joy in a morgue so will try tonight he is shattered and burning the candle at both ends - and when baby arrives it will probably get worse

looking forward to Easter meet up already

cleaning floors didn't help

I was up between 2&3am eating bannanas, oranges and reading the Argos catalogue - couldn't sleep

caz - hope things are better with dh

StealthPo09IsHere · 18/01/2009 20:50

What are you now oooggs? 40+2? and elkie?

oooggs · 18/01/2009 20:52

I'm 38 + 2 (due 30th) and Elkie is due on 26th

StealthPo09IsHere · 18/01/2009 20:55

Oh I thought you were overdue...sorry!

Northernlurker · 18/01/2009 20:59

Oooggs is overdue for her - you've always delivered before 38 weeks haven't you Oooggs? You'll have to get a move on though or Elkie will beat you to it

StealthPo09IsHere · 18/01/2009 21:00

Yes, I realised that was probably why I was confused.
Someone kick me - have stuff I need to do!

Sexonlegs · 18/01/2009 21:02

Oooggs, pmsl at more joy in a morgue! Good luck tonight then Have you been taking the raspberry leaf pills?

SPB, how is everyone? More evil nappies today?

Caz, bloody men! Hope you are ok.

Dooby, poor M Sounds awful for the poor little man. Hope you are ok this evening xx

Liath, how are the nits Touch wood, we haven't had them for a while here.

GM, how was your casserole???

Runny, what did you make of the skaters tonight?

MJ, you have indeed returned - hurrah!!!!!

Hun, how are you today? How is M?

Erm.......

All ok here. B has a heavy cold, K has been coughing herself awake and I really cannot be f-ing arsed to go to work tomorrow

Northernlurker · 18/01/2009 21:03

We can't kick you! You're pregnant!

We could gently nudge you with a fluffy covered melon - would that do?

StealthPo09IsHere · 18/01/2009 21:14

A fluffy melon ok then!

All nappies been fine here thanks SOL, am hoping he is back to normal. Sorry to hear your girls are ill. Can't blame you for not being motivated for work!

elkiedee · 18/01/2009 22:13

I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. Just really hoping that I don't end up being induced.

geordieminx · 19/01/2009 08:30

Hey ladies;

Thinking of all the pregnant ones!!

All ok here, still a bit sore, think I have an ear infection too so am off to doctors in half an hour. Mum has gone home so its just me and the boy!

The casserole was blardy lovely - its a Jamie receipe, lots of steak veggies and red wine, topped with cheese toppped dumplings!! On the downside, despite being unable to eat much last week I have managed to put the 5lb I lost the previous week back on so have 17lb to loose AGAIN!!

Right off to throw some clothes on.

xxx

CaptainDippy · 19/01/2009 10:37

Fluffy covered melon!!!? What has NL been taking

Hope it happens soon oooggs and Elkie

Bramshott · 19/01/2009 13:28

No babies yet?!?!

Pants to job crap SOL. So does K go to nursery 2 days, and you'll only be working 1? Is there any way you can find out from them when their busiest times are? I remember when N was at nursery I knew that Wednesday morning was their busiest time, so that when I dropped her hours down when O was small, I made sure I hung onto Wednesday morning, knowing that I was unlikely to get it back if I ever gave it up! I also dropped her down to mornings only and then added the afternoons back on later as I knew that mornings were busier than afternoons.

oooggs · 19/01/2009 14:00

no baby here

yes overdue for me - I have only made it til 38 weeks before

Elkie - I found induction better, easier & quicker than a natural start - don't worry about that

where do I get raspberry pills from then???????

Bramshott · 19/01/2009 14:24

You can order from Holland and Barrett here

MJreturns · 19/01/2009 14:38

I took raspberry leaf pills with both of mine oooggs. Slightly complicated delivery with ds, but F came flying out!
Put the longer delivery on ds down to the fact that he was my first. Was still 15 hours from start to finish which I didn't think was too bad! F on the other hand was just barely 4 hours

oooggs · 19/01/2009 19:33

right will be checking those out

Northernlurker · 19/01/2009 19:44

Oooggs - have you had sex yet? You really must

So who's got snow then? Just buckets of rain here and I've got a cold. I'm not best pleased!

geordieminx · 19/01/2009 19:48

Snow here - C was mesmorised!!

Oooggs - my reccomendation is hot chilli... worked for me

leakyR · 19/01/2009 19:55

Quiet today.

Glad you're feeling better from teeth GM. shame about the ear infection.

Can you get fluffy melons at Tesco? Fruit aisle or soft furnishing?

No baby news?
So is the general consensus that RL tablets are worth taking at the end? When do you start with them? I can vaguely remember lots of RLT chat last time round.

Been considering perineal massage, but it seems like a ridiculous proposition with this big tummy of mine. DH is clumsy and I think we'll both be giggling like idiots if I get him to help. Might go and look for a thread on it.
