Am I first? Couldn't think of what to call it....

VS - I think she is hungrier, yes, I tried giving more milk, which helped, but then yesterday she spurned more milk for more food (I guess she can't take both) and she did sleep better last night. Woke once at 5.30 for drink water and then 6.30 properly. She is never hungry for her breakfast til about 8 though - does anyone else have this? Should I stop giving a ten o clock feed?

I love my new mumsnet friends on facebook, its made me very happy Just a reminder to all that NOONE in real life knows I'm knocked up except me and dh so pls don't mention on fb. Not that anyone would but just got paranoid (who would have thought it?!)

ps. ellie, thanks for the compliment however I think its just a one off nice-angle profile pic from last summer when I had a tan!!! All other pics show the real truth!

paranoidmummy · 31/01/2009 12:39

scorpio i messed up your friend request -oops- on my mob so have added you again. Sorry... I'm pretty shit

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 13:48

Hi guys. Nice to see all seem to be going well!

Am shattered after rough week at work, so great to have a weekend.

Was supposed to go for a bra fitting at Bluewater (well, 10 months and a rather oh-shit-whats-gone-wrong-with-my-body-realisation later it's high time I guess), but have just cancelled as I got my appointment time a bit mixed up and have to be home at the same time... Seems like I'm just going to go through life with saggy, swingy boobs! Will try and be there when the shop opens tomorrow morning - hopefully they'll have a cancellation or something.

Paranoidmummy, can't seem to find your name (but I'm prob just being thick here) - please add me too. I'm rubbish with Facebook, never actually do anything there, but like to be nosy and look at everyone's pics! My name is Sal.. A (on most of the girls here are Fb friends too, so will be under their friends list - though they might regret it now ).

Funny thing of the moment - dh has been coughing a lot lately, and now R seems to have picked up this instead of talking! So I'll probably end up with a 3-year old that won't talk, but with the biggest fake-coughing-range in town!

paranoidmummy · 31/01/2009 15:55

sal, I can't find you???

VictorianSqualor · 31/01/2009 16:14

She is on mine PM. The only peron on my friends called sal somerthing.
Top of friends list.

scorpio1 · 31/01/2009 16:54
  • ha we are painting!

My gay crush is coming over yay

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 17:41

Thanks VS! (Hey, what do you mean sal something??? ) I second, paranoidmummy's stunning!

Scorpio - your gay crush?? I need to know more, this sounds interesting. [nosy emoticon]

EllieG · 31/01/2009 17:54

peachy - god your friend sounds like she's having an appalling time - FWIW I really cannot imagine anyone ever thinking of removing this child, you would have to be mad to think that's the answer, more help needed. But you do get some very bad social workers who like to scare people and do not seem to understand trying to ease people's burdens a bit. Will think on and ask a couple of friends.

Scorpio's gay crush is a rather tasty young man.

I mean nuffin, honest Guv Nah, I didn't think you wanted your real name on here so was just trying to explain that it's sal__(intentionally too many dashes)

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 18:17

I know, just teasing!

EllieG · 31/01/2009 18:21

Lol Ellie!!!

I need a sleep trainer (or night nanny at the least) for next week. See here. Keep your fingers crossed that I find something - can't do next week with such rubbish sleep! I should have tried your water advice, VS - kind of planned to, but never really got around to it. Story of my life, there!

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/01/2009 19:17

Very tasty young man who is a year younger than me actually....he didn't stay long though He doesn't like ladies though.

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 19:20

Ah, but see, this is a safe dream, so you can always drool away without feeling guilty!

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/01/2009 19:22

I know, and i do! I have even been known to text VS saying i saw him (as i know VS is part of his fan club LOL)

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 19:32
Grin
RobertPattinsonComeToMomma · 31/01/2009 21:06

Scorpio, who is this guy??????
Not that I can talk, I'm in love with a floppy haired posh English boy half my age!

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 21:37

I want to see pics

Just for a joke I showed dh a pic of a rather gorgeous Brazillian guy looking for a nanny job earlier, and pretended I'm interested. He wasn't impressed, lol.

RobertPattinsonComeToMomma · 31/01/2009 21:42

Oh, Sal, you have to interview the guy!

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 21:44

I was so tempted. If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't want to waste the poor guy's time, I would have done it! [evil grin]

KnitterInTheNW · 31/01/2009 21:48

Hello, strangers!

I have a very very busy boy. With him and attempting to keep on top of the house stuff I haven't had a chance to post on here for ages, but have been reading from time to time.

George is crawling round like a mad thing, pulling himself up onto anything and everything, and generally looking for mischief all the time. He's a proper pickle. I just put some more pics of him onto my fb page.

ScorpiowithabigS · 31/01/2009 22:05

Sal you could be like Rachel from friends who employs a hot assistant just for herself

I haven't got any pics just dh's fb friend pic....you will just have to trust me and VS!

SalLikesCoffee · 31/01/2009 22:22

I think you just want to keep him all for yourself!!! Gmpf, won't show you mine now either!

Hmm, now see, that Rachel-situation doesn't sound all bad now, does it??? Since I considered selling my kidney to pay for a night nanny and I might crack it myself with your help, maybe I should use the spare cash for this...

ScorpiowithabigS · 01/02/2009 11:23

Sal hope all is well

VS - what benefits are there to continuing my 2xBF a day until 1? Aside from comfort.

PeachyBAHonsPRSCertOnRequest · 01/02/2009 13:35

I can give you a benefit straight off- ds3 has mild chicken pox (very milkd as had it at 3 months so aptial immunity) whewre Bas has nowt! It's horrid in babies so very relieved.

It's also said to be great for soft palate development (speech related) and general health; WHO recommends that we keep BF for some time yet.
