Am I first? Couldn't think of what to call it....

VS - I think she is hungrier, yes, I tried giving more milk, which helped, but then yesterday she spurned more milk for more food (I guess she can't take both) and she did sleep better last night. Woke once at 5.30 for drink water and then 6.30 properly. She is never hungry for her breakfast til about 8 though - does anyone else have this? Should I stop giving a ten o clock feed?

(Jack has a Grade 4 vesico ureteric reflux and a small right kidney)

EllieG · 30/01/2009 19:39

[brings out hammer]

Probably teething or viral. If viral then is not scary - doc told me by the time the rash comes, all is healing nicely. If blanches not scary nasty rash. How elevated is temp? I think just have to worry if starts hitting 40 degrees and doesn't come down with calpol or infacol (so A&e told me last time I rang them in a panic) and if seems OK, i.e not listless or seriously poorly then just teething or something equally small like a cold coming and give him plenty water and stop worrying, will be fine x

Jack just wound the crank on his jack-in-a-box all on his own and made it pop!!

He can't be that sick then....

Clever boy! Right, DSD is off to bed (yey!) off for some quality time with DH.

Oh no, I'm not, he's playing his playstation and then watching some boys film about fighting men.

I was supposed to be going out on a work do tonight but it was cancelled apparently because the boss did something which some people took offence to and refused to go out tonight. Bloody hell. I've got to go back to all this stupid politics in a couple of months...how am I going to stay sane? I have a feeling I am going to be a bit unpopular by refusing to be part of it. But don't really care.

I'm on VS & Ellie's list - Stephanie C

Office Politics is a fat load of rubbish. Always leave them to it. Never make waves. Never make too many suggestions to your boos, even IF they do save the company from burning down/going broke/being taken over by terrorists. Its like a jungle school yard out there. Never let the bastards get you down Ellie!!!!!

Hi yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! -charges blindly at enemy-
-knocks herself out on the doorframe-

ThePFJ · 30/01/2009 19:57

Ellie thanks you ever so much for going on there- rough details are that child has severe CP- qud, and severe epilep[sy: Mum ahs to stay with 24 / to protect against potentially fatal attacks, Mum ahs MS as well. SS offer a very few hours respite and carers never actually turn up; they've been wanting to cut those hours for ages.

Anyway I am going to sit with Riven during the review, see if we can't get DP's, might help her get a more reliable carer.

I have wine tonight- and pesto chicken, and pannacotta with raspberry. courtesy of M&S Aren't I good?

ThePFJ · 30/01/2009 21:45
