Arse.

I posted on June 08 as they recently had a really funny thread title and was completetly ignored too!

The thread title that really got folks backs up was the one about being fed up of being pregnant and saying "come out you little b*". apparently the number of asterisks implied that we were calling our unborn babies bastards and not wanting/loving them and upsetting people on the TTC boards. Lulumama stuck up for us though

I noticed the April 05 thread earlier......title is "now they are three". One thread...since April . I hope we never get like that!

We were tight butterfly, but not at all cliquey I don't think. And lots joined after the babies were born; jammy, norty, you, andie.

Jammy, do you still post on july? as that's when jamlet was due wasn't it?

the sweaty bum one got a few comments as well.

It's not nearly as much fun since MN changed it so you could hide whole topics from your active convos list

They were sour cream - so will have a horrible tasting mouth in the morning!!

Im ok Foxy and You? So did I read that you did get to give up BF?? Im still feeding 4 times or so a day - she's a BF junkie!

Ohforfoxsake · 14/12/2008 22:48

yep, a couple of months ago.

Neither of us miss it, she's not 'asked' for it.

Sour cream are my favs. I deliberately don't have Pringles, because it is true. Once you pop, you can't stop.

It cant be a couple of months ago!!! - I remember you saying you tried and then gave up!! Where has the time gone to??

Im trying to find a decent digital photo frame for about £20-£40 - the cheap ones in Argos have bad reviews. so may have to pay £44 for an Agfa one.

Ohforfoxsake · 14/12/2008 22:57

yep, 3 months ago I think. 14 months. You are right, I was going to give up before - mainly due to DP being uncomftable with it, but a certain someone saying she was staying with it, no matter what amongst other support on here. Made me feel better about it and carried on.

I remember that Butterfly! Klaw was great too on our AN threads. What's happened to her? Don't see her around much now.

You toucha my bump, I smasha your face was my favourite.

That said I have hidden AN threads, but just cos it's boring really to read them again and again in active convos.

chatty evening. just like the good old days

I have admitted defeated and listened to DM. She is taking over xmas lunch. DH is disappointed, but it's that or prozac for me I'm afraid and I feel bad enough about being on a knife edge with DH being back at work without going over the edge completely. (She wanted to know asap so I made today the deadline for our decision) DH will still get to cook stuff to help, and make a dessert, but it takes the pressure off me with the cleaning and shopping while the boys are ill (and me)

Thanks butterfly. I think he realises really, given how knackered he is today after only working 11-6 (but on his own cos everyone else was sent home/buggered off early[pah]). I wish he had a job that didn't make me so whingey

We will enjoy it a hell of a lot more though, DMs christmases are the BEST!!! (which is obviously why she has done it every year since she and DF got married)

Sputnik · 14/12/2008 23:39

Hi Ria, forgot to say welcome back, and good news abut your DH's job
Sounds wise if you share the whole xmas thing.

God, pressies for friend's children, what a minefield. I have only bought something for the daughter of some friends, based on the fact they are always giving our DCs stuff, anyway took it round today and it turned out they hadn't got our lot anything. I'm not bothered at all but just wish we could decide yes or no and save embarassment!

Evening Butterfly Interesting thread, I haven't read GF but I've read some Baby Whisperer stuff, she claimed you could guage your supply by pumping (based on the fact she grew up on a dairy farm . I am totally crap at expressing and if I'd believed that then I would've assumed my babies were getting nothing. Fair enough, but that could really undermine someone's confidence.

I think I had better get off to bed, it's gone midnight and we were up late last night.

GloooooooooooooooooooRia · 14/12/2008 23:40

My Uncle (DMs big bro) has built a "grotto" in his garden, apparently complete with Santa and reindeer. The boys were too poorly to go today, but we will next weekend, no matter what. I have to make "Santa" a little hamper first though (reindeer food, tiny xmas cake and ginger beer), cos my uncle is fab too
