Maybe the broccoli was keeping him awake?

Well done on your bargains. You will fit into that skirt (and so will I, IYKWIM)

decs down. do they have to be packed away? or will in a heap ready to go back in the loft do? (when I've found the rest of the russian-doll santa)

what are thoughts nowadays style-wise on clear fairy lights a la Changing Rooms?

depends on for what room ria?

conservatory natty. to go in a straight line along the top window partition. we only have lamps in there. I had said fairy lights hung over the fireplace in the living room at xmas (DH won't have them on the tree) and it was really quite nice (won't go as far as romantic). Pink fluffy ones in the bedroom is a step too far for me!

sounds nice Ria

Got to go into work on Thursday as everyone off sick and urgent result needed.....seems a bit odd....but one day won't hurt me!

Will have to find something that fits me....can't go in with unbrushed hair, trackie bottoms and a too small mat t-shirt ....todays wonderful attire...

why not norty. you must be V important.

Do I have to feed my children and tidy the kitchen?

That's the trouble with going out. I don't want to do anything when I get back. Have to go to the library after tea too. We ARE going to walk. (DS2 will whinge all the way)

no not important, just do something where there is only 2 of us trained and the other isn't well and will take a lot longer to send away to be done (and patient too ill )....DD at nursery anyway.

I haven't been out of this house for 2 days....dentist tomorrow...what fun! (if I don't have a panic attack anyway )

Might be OK Norty - the real world I mean.

I am mighty impressed you are going out after tea Ria. Mine are going directly to bed. And I think the fairy lights would work in the conservatory. I was tempted to keep my red berry ones up in the kitchen but decided I was trying too hard to be Nigella Xmas Wink

Only came on to check if there was a full moon tonight (as opposed to looking out of the window I suppose ). Seems there is not, so I have no explanation for my children's vile, whingy, unreasonable behavour. x4.

was a lovely peaceful, crispy air walk

does Nigella have fairy lights in her kitchen? (that would win DH over I'm sure) the library had the James Martin pudding book (for DH you understand) and I didn't take my ticket.

my kids have been like that for days. Is improving now school is back

I think that is important Norty. good luck at the dentist. I have to go in a couple of weeks, with at least 2 of the boys

oh, and i got a phone call from iCandy today. They want to come round with the buggy I'm testing personally, and give me a demonstration!!

and I got a graco double today....nice and light and folds pretty small Norty.....but they didn't send either aprons or raincover . Aprons not crucial as we have something we could use to kepp the DC's legs warm, but I would've thought a raincover was fairly fundamental for testing a buggy in winter in UK

glad your bits are OK daisy. do you want to come for a drive in the car with me? that would strengthen up your pelvic floor in no time

I have just put DS1s school timetable on a spreadsheet (only been meaning to do it since September) because he came down half an hour after he was supposed to have gone to bed - bag supposed to be ready before he was allowed to play wii - and said he had lost his planner. Grrr
