No, this time next month

Do the kids know they're going foxy?

Report
Ohforfoxsake · 05/01/2009 21:38

No, no, I really did. Am just excited for you.

blimey, I'm not organised to have it next week ...I've also got to go into work to interview someone so can'r be till after then.

Just reminded me, must get the moses basket stuff out of the machine and into the tumble dryer.

I am talking SS.

I put the confirmation of the trip in the drawer where I keep the passports. And that is where the tickets were meant to be.

Thing is, originally I was going to get them at the station, but decided not to as we'd have to get there earlier and also I wanted to know we had them. Which now we don't.

A really, really fucking annoying is that this was meant to be done as cheaply as possible. So, despite the cheapest possible deal we could find, 3 of the children needed passports and its an extra £15 to reissue the tickets. with myself.

From a thread on the cbeebies grown ups' forum:

"News just in? Chris and Pui are busy behind the scenes working on a brand new programme for CBeebies called 'Show Me Show Me' which will launch in 2009. Each episode will have a different theme, in which they will explore art, music, storytelling and role-play. The series been specially created to showcase the skills and talents of Chris and Pui, two of the most popular CBeebies presenters, who are moving on from their channel presentation roles at the end of the year. More will be revealed later."

and what will piss you off even more is that when you get home, you'll find them somewhere really obvious!

when I got state registered I needed my birth certificate in a hurry....had the house upside fucking down looking for it (and my parents house). In the end paid Lambeth council a huge amount of money for priority service, and 2 weeks later, found 3 of the bloody things .

sods law!

Yay jamlet and foxcub. Let the climbing the living room shelves commence . DD's new trick is dragging a chair around with her to get to things on high....it's very annoying, especially as I keep falling over the bloody thing.

I've registered here in the hope that it will help with my weight loss plan. It's a quite a good online tracker...and is FREE which is the salient point!

butterfly was on the Wii will get Fit thread yesterday.

discovered today that one of my November chums lives around the corner from me! A ten minute walk away at the very most....what a small world it is!

just popping in and out. have a headache (diet induced I'm sure) so early bed. Have only just finished washing up, but on the plus side I finished my book while I was getting DS2 to sleep

here is meant to be good foxy. I used a SW recipe today. Mine is the £17.50 one in the tesco sale. I think I like it, but it could go the same way as the breadmaker. Tickets - in the cereal cupboard.freezer/under ironing?

baggins is awake so I must go. Hi and bye everyone

I only hope Pui won't be singing in the new programme

Hello I'm still here - have been most of the day ...is it obvious I'm on mat leave and don't have any RL friends

Report
LackaDAISYcal · 05/01/2009 22:07

me too Norty...that's on here all day with no RL friends. I have a few, but am really shite at getting in touch with them. Tomorrow I must call my friend who had a baby on 1st December as I haven't been to see them yet

going to see the physio about my waterworks tomorrow. I've been keeping a log of liquids in vs liquids out for the last couple of days ; I drink far too much tea, it's official.

Report
LittleMissNorty · 05/01/2009 22:11

tea has been my only craving during this pg....went right off coffee and can't get enough tea

Hope you get on ok.

how was the M&P twin buggy?

I have some RL friends, but sometimes its easier to hide away at home on here .

Not impressed with it overall really.

  • too wide for a standard door.
  • car seat only fits on wider side, and narrow side too narrow for DD (and she is a dinky wee thing)
  • straps are pants, sort of free floating so you have to fish about for them all the time and then they fall off shoulders.
  • recline isn't that great in that it doesn't go completely flat for a newborn
  • cosytoes don't popper on so also slide about and the holes in it don't correspond to the strap positions
  • brake is a weird pull up lever.
  • bumping up and down kerbs very strenuous; I'd be worried about your CS scar.

    on the plus side though...

  • it is very slim when folded, but took up the whole floor pan of the boot of my scenic. It would fit in your laguna no probs though with room for some shopping
  • the handle telescopes into itself to reduce its folded size.
  • DD loved the little tray
  • it was easy to push with one hand, but not sure whether it would keep this way when a year or so old. Pretty light to lift as well
  • nice big tray underneath, plus hanger things for attaching more storage behind the seats.
  • nice drinks holder

overall, functional but a bit dull. I reckon the McLaren would be a much better deal....but I haven't received that one yet!

May fit in the laguna, but I also have a punto (and usually a labrador in the laguna boot as well )

must have one that lays flat!

hey all
busy on here last night.
im stuck in all day again because ellen is sick. poor tom
DH off tomorrow, so im going out to buy some DESPERATLY needed bras tents for my HUGE boobs. its not funny really DH thinks its great but going from a B to a E cup in 3 months is NOT funny at all, its a shock for my back and the muscles in my chest are really hurting.
mothercare ones are no good, not enough support. ideas anyone?

good day yesterday with thomas, we were able to take him out as he has recovered enough, and he loved the snow (what was left of it by 2pm lol) and he cheered right up. today he is grumpy again, so i think his behaviour is childrens cabin fever lol

did u find the tickets foxy? rope others into looking that always works for me. couldnt find my purse ANYWHERE yesterday so went out without it. turns out i had put it in the cutlery draw because the kids were emptying it on the kitchen floor. (which of course i remembered AFTER i found it )

am pleased i am avoiding a double this time, i cant ever find one that im happy with. my new pram is coming tomorrow its this one: pushchair
going to be using it in stroller for ellen, as she HATES the pushchair atm, and dealing with her crying facing me will be easier, i can read her a book, sing, make funny faces
i will look like a nutter but hey!
ordered a buggypod for tom as he walks 90% of the time anyway.
planning to use the carrycot for new baby and buggypod for ellen, and tom will walk (hopefully) by then. not planning any long days out till i get a car tho, else tom will be shattered!

just need to figure out what to do with the old pushchairs now....

hello. my fingers are too cold to type.
terrible night - baggins awake between 3-5, DS2 awake between 4-5, and chose then to tell me I should cook broccoli the way I do

been present shopping with baggins this morning. Drove to the top cliff in town (free parking) and walked in to the shops, got presents for 1 party, DS2s birthday and godsons birthday. and I bought some Barrat boots (with the barrats label still on) from a charity shop in the half price sale for £4.50) they will go really nicely with the skirt I hope to be thin enough to wear on my birthday. Boots sale is shite now though, most of the prices have gone back up. Am chuffed though cos I got the Charlie & Lola wooden playhouse for DS2 for £6.49 from a chain store returns shop, and it was on half price in Argos at £9.99 I love a bargain. Nice stuff in the TKMaxx sale too, but they pissed me off cos even though I bought big stuff that wouldn't fit in a reusable bag they wouldn't give me a carrier. I did get lots of sympathy from old ladies though
