Hi all

Hope Dippy and Molly are feeling brighter this morning.

I'm avoiding packing right now - we are off home today and I have no idea how we are going to fit everything in the car.....we have a guitar (1/2 size), a sylvanians boat, a teepee,a dolls highchair, a cd player - not to mention my stash of chocolate covered marzipan! Why did I have three children??? It's just tooooooo mucccccccch lugggggggage!!

StealthPoHoHoHo · 28/12/2008 11:12

morning everyone
glad the ill people are a bit better

CaptainDippy · 28/12/2008 12:11

Tis indeed, NL, I would hasten to agree!

I am still stuffed up in the nasal dept, but feel absolutely fine today Bizarre! DH has sadly succumbed though and is currently sleeping in our bed with DD2 who seems to have been under the weather for weeks now, poor love P is sleeping in the car on the driveway and DD1 is watching The Jungle Book - peaceful!!

elkiedee · 28/12/2008 18:26

Hi all, glad to hear that some are on the mend but hope Mr Dippy and their DD2 feel better soon.

We leave here on Tuesday. My aunt and her dp escaped from rather difficult domestic responsibilities for a few days and were coming here en route last night to the Lake District - their car broke down in Leeds, but hopefully they'll be able to get it fixed here tomorrow and resume their trip. So it's still quite a full house at the moment.

D got a wonderful pressie from my stepdad today, a very noisy toy fire engine. Despite noises I'm genuinely sorry that we won't be able to carry it back to London ourselves, it's going to have to wait for a lift down when my mum comes to help out in a few weeks.

CaptainDippy · 29/12/2008 04:08

Hope your car is fixed soon Elkie - our car broke down last Christmas and it completely sucked Are you going home by train!!? I personally think you should sod the rest of your luggage and take the fire engine - I think all the people on the train would absolutely love it

No idea why I am up!!!? Can't sleep
