claireybeemine · 13/03/2009 14:56

Meme have you tested yet? I hope it is the result you want

claireybeemine · 13/03/2009 14:57

Insy a lot of people do have 15-23 months between 2 children, but far fewer have it between both first and second and second and third

claireybeemine · 13/03/2009 15:01

BT I have bumped your ad for you. I felt sorry for you talking to yourself

Arcadie · 13/03/2009 15:09

BouncingTurtle · 13/03/2009 15:24

I think I've finished studying for now... what I'm supposed to be studying has been very badly communicated.

BouncingTurtle · 13/03/2009 15:25

But I think I should have done 2 other modules which aren't listed on my learning home page

Hi ladies

Just catching up as we have been away on holiday for a few days. DD had a lovely time as my mum and dad were there too so she was spoiled rotten!

Amani - hello! Nice to see you back on here again. Maybe your lo is just making up for lost time with all that milk. DD was drinking a full 9oz of cows milk before bed until this week when she has started leaving some. She has started to take some cows milk in a cup during the day again so is having less at night.

Hi to everyone else. Hope all the los are getting better. These winter illnesses just drag on and on don't they? DD is ok just now but she did fall and bang her face against the living room door this morning and her eye looks a bit swollen

Our holiday has made me feel a bit better but I'm not looking forward to dh going back to work on Mon as have still been feeling anxious at times. I had an initial referral appt with a counsellor yesterday and she thinks I have pnd which has gone undiagnosed since dd's birth. She also thinks I may have post traumatic stress disorder. I am on the waiting list for counselling and am seeing my gp this week. I feel a bit embarrassed about it as dd's birth wouldn't seem traumatic to most other people. I hope the waiting list isn't too long but there is a telephone service I can use if I really need to speak to someone.

meme - any news? I hope you are ok

claireybeemine · 14/03/2009 18:01

Phew am home! Parents are great but I need my own space after a couple of days.

DH is going to get drunk an african society gathering this evening. We were all invited and would have been good but my need for sleep is greater and don't want to jinx ds' new found sleep pattern by taking him out at this stage. I feel quite old and boring about it but just don't think it is worth the risk.

claireybeemine · 14/03/2009 18:14

Louise I remember your birth story and it sounded pretty horrible so I think anyone would be traumatised by it, please don't think you are making a big deal out of nothing.

FWIW I was pretty scarred by my poo everywhere experiences giving birth to dd and obsessed about it in the weeks leading up to ds' birth-I was more worried about that than anything else. Luckily it was completely different with ds so I've managed to get over it. I know that is nowhere near the same as the actual birth being difficult but if I was able to be traumatised by a bit of poo then I think you are more than entitled to be traumatised bya difficult birth!

cazzybabs · 14/03/2009 22:31

dh is out tonight getting drunk with a load of women....I have signed up for a yoga course starting in April....I am the most unflexible (and in too) uncoordinated person ever. tell me it is going to be OK. I am so impulsive. I hate going to new places with new people...panic panic panic..oh well. tis what happens with the cat is away!!!!

oh and ht ebloody advert just startig (the singing one) on here...it gave me a heart attack

Arcadie · 14/03/2009 23:55

It's going to be ok Cazzybabs. You'll stretch and tone and be fit and gorgeous. And you'll meet lovely people who are every bit as worried about meeting new people as you are. Be the friend you want to have and everyone'll love you.

I hate that Advert too.

Claireybee and Louise Scary birth stories? Sorry to hear it - hope the counsellor listens and talks a lot of sense.

I've spent the evening drinking rioja, watching Robert Webb being an awesome dancer, scrapbooking (I LOVE to scrapbook) and praying with my bestest chum. Doesn't get much better. (Apart from evenings spent with DH of course..... but he's playing Pro Evo)

I think I am the only person on the whole of MN who likes that ad!

claireybeemine · 15/03/2009 13:01

Poor BT

I think colds are horrible, not least because everyone just thinks "Oh it's just a cold, get over it" when actually you are feeling pretty ill.

Feel better soon

claireybeemine · 15/03/2009 13:02

It seems to be taking a long time to reach 1000. Maybe I need to start posting from my phone again so that each one is posted 7 times
