Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Arcadie · 12/03/2009 12:15

Oh and I meant to overshare horribly last night. Yesterday was a speshul day in the RKD household. I have become.........

Dum

Dum

DUMMMMMMM

A bona fide mooncup using LENTIL WEAVER!!

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 12:43

Good summary Arcadie!

And I bow to your lentil weaverness... and suggest you visit my ad in the small business section for more lentil weaving supplies

I have passed my exam today to allow me to go onto the next course for my other work, the call centre work, yippee! I'm hopeful of bringing some money in soon!

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 12:44

Hoping I'm not being very norty linking to my ad

claraquack · 12/03/2009 13:37

Arcadie

No I most definitely do not want to be up the duff! The thought of ever ever ever having to wear a maternity bra again just makes me shudder!

Nope, two is plenty enough for me thanks very much.

insywinsyspider · 12/03/2009 15:54

you lot are nuts

arcadie - I am also a proud owner of a mooncup, from my cheap skate student days not had af since 2004 tho so its not had an airing for a long time and a little yuk....

can't believe I'm only one 'up the duff' I know LOADS of people who had 15-23 months between dc's
beckle - no 4 only speculative, dh says I have to find another dh/dp for that, just feel bit sad that this might be my last pg... although watched surrogacy programme last night (recorded from Monday) and I'm not bonkers enough to do what they did think my pelvic floor is unhappy bout 3 at moment

meme - any news??

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 16:42

Insy, I think I mentioned one of the mums from my AN class was pg, sadly it looks like she isn't as they did a scan nearly 2 weeks ago and all the saw was an empty sac They are hoping she got her dates wrong, but will find out tomorrow when she has another scan.

becklespeckle · 12/03/2009 16:48

You lot are nuts - beckle is most definitely not poss up the duff! I struggle to conceive when I'm trying (dodgy hormones) so it would be a miracle for me to conceive while on the pill! TBH am not even broody - and I've been cuddling little babies this week!

Yay BT for passing that exam! for your friend though, how far should she be?

becklespeckle · 12/03/2009 16:50

Insy, you wait til you get nearer the end of your pg, you might not feel so sad then! One of my first thoughts when Evie was born was "thank goodness that's the last time I'll do that!"

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 18:56

Beckle - she thought she should be around 7 weeks when she had some spotting and cramps. She thenwent to the EPU. Nothing since then.

insywinsyspider · 12/03/2009 20:00

lol I think you are right beckle my friend reminded me the other day that in 24hrs my recount of ds2's birth went from 'horrific' - 1 hour after birth to 'not that bad' end of first day

bt - to hear about your friend, hope they got the dates wrong

off to check out your ad now...

cazzybabs · 12/03/2009 20:05

helloo..nothing to add...meme where are you woman? Let us know.. I am reading to evie and on MN...tres naughty non? i am reading Monkey and me for the trillionth time. it is her favourite book

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 20:12

Insy by this time with DS I was already 2 months pregnant with DD- if I was going for DC3 I'd probably already be pregnant now so fret not - you're not a freak...

Meme Post soon lady we want to know all's ok

BT cool ad. Think I might stick with current level of LWness ( cook lentils, play with lentil shakers / use washable nappies etcetc) And so sorry about your friend. It does matter how far along you were - every m/c is heartbreaking (says Arcadie who's not had one). Will pray for her.

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 20:15

Clara at the vehemence with which you state non-pregnant and non-desire for pregnancy!

Beckle Of course we're nuts. We spend half our days writing total twaddle to a bunch of women we'll never meet.

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 20:15

And we're getting closer to that magic thread's full number people.

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 20:25

Yes so keep talking twaddle!

DH and I are currently watching this film. Seriously hokey but quite entertaining!

insywinsyspider · 12/03/2009 21:02

are we there yet??

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 21:04

No no NO. Patience ladies.

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 21:06

BT I'm watching this. You think yours is hokey....

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 21:23

At least yours has people in I've heard of!!

BouncingTurtle · 12/03/2009 21:23

We haven't heard from Suey2 for a while, hope she is ok!

BouncingTurtle · 13/03/2009 07:33

I am enrolled in the course which will allow me to train to start call handling. You won't be hearing much from me as I have to attend 12 x 3 hr weeknight online training sessions and do about 5 hours of study for the 1st 5 days of the course!

Doctorskidaddle · 13/03/2009 11:05

well done BT for your course and so sorry to hear about your friend

Arcadie - welcome to lentil weaverdom. Moon cups are GREAT (although aren;t post-baby/BF period are mindblowingly awful?)

well my friend who had both ehr babies at the same time as me is preg again so must admit I am a little bit broody. However I am also really enjoying the freedom of having slightly less to do now DS is older, plus whole nights of sleep is something I am not quite ready to give up again yet

have also been wondering about suey - hope she's OK

claraquack · 13/03/2009 13:44

There really are a lot of lentil weavers/yoghurt knitters on this website aren't there???? Hark at you all and your mooncups! My husband (a neanderthal) thinks they are hilarious. Not that I think he understands quite what they exactly do. Mind you, neither do I - they just sound a little, well, fiddly, for me!

Anyway. BT - hope your training goes well, sounds quite intensive, don't tire yourself out too much!

Skid - I'm with you on having a bit more freedom and better sleep. Look at me, on MN almost every day because now dd2 can entertain herself for much longer periods of time.

Mind you, she's asleep at the moment and dd1 and I are actually meant to be on here putting bets on the Gold Cup.

Do you think it's wrong to be encouraging my three-year-old to bet on the horses? It's only because it's local and we saw all the people going to the races this morning so we have been talking about it.

Only three hundred posts to go and we'll be at 1,000!!!

claraquack · 13/03/2009 13:45

I've just noticed there are some red nose day smileys

claireybeemine · 13/03/2009 14:45

hello
