Poor Milo.
Poor Skid.
Can't you fix him now you're a doctor?
They don't just give PhDs away you know?

( At least that's what my old housemate used to say when she was writing up her doctorate on the symbiosis of the dinoflagelette zooxanthellae.... I heard quite a lot about that thesis.....

How about "Where babies walk the walk and talk the talk?"

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 08:51

Start a new thread before the last one has run out?! What flagrant profligacy!!!

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 08:52

But I do like the title...

and claraquack thank you!

Wizzska · 12/03/2009 11:15

Do we have a new thread? I can't find it.

becklespeckle · 12/03/2009 11:21

What's this? Am away for a couple of days (again) and all becomes madness! Feel right at home!

Arcadie, you are funny! DD is only just 14 months though (due to being so late) so does that mean I have to stay on this thread by myself until she turns 15 months????? . Sorry you still suffering with the pox though in your household - nasty itchy crusty illness.

Insy - I can't believe you are considering a 4th baby before you've given birth to number 3!!!

DrSkid, poor Milo hope he's feeling better soon.

Meme, have you tested yet???

I am a little fed up to be honest, have been spotting for about a week now and feeling all heavy in the hip area but no AF yet. I take the mini-pill so AF comes as an when really. It did occur to me though that I have had DDs not-quite-right tummy for a week or so now though so wonder if that has affected the workings of the pill. I often find if I forget one that AF arrives a few days later. Missed one Tuesday in the hopes that it will bring on AF so I can feel normal again!

becklespeckle · 12/03/2009 11:24

Hi *Wizz! Don't know if its been started yet - looks like its in the final stages of planning though...

claraquack · 12/03/2009 11:42

Oh oh Beckle you're not pregnant are you????

Hope everyone's LO's are getting better, there seems to be a lot of illness out there at the moment. We had about three days of it last week - vomiting, then awful nappies and didn't eat for a while. She is now making up for it big time though. I blame the change of season - babies always seem to get ill when the weather changes.

Amani - hi, thanks for coming over! Hope dd2 is getting better at eating. Perhaps the extra milk is just to compensate for all the time she hasn't been eating? It's so frustrating isn't it? We did exactly the same with dd2 as we did with dd1 but she is so different when she comes to food. She's ok, but not nearly as good as dd1, who would eat ANYTHING at this age!

Hello everyone else. BT - like the name for the thread. However, by the time we get to the end of it, they'll probably be about two-years-old so perhaps we should have something like "they walk, they talk - and now they're counting, singing and doing their times tables"!!!

Arcadie · 12/03/2009 12:14

There is no new thread yet.... I was being "a bit previous" as we Yorkshirites say. I'm only being daft - it just feels a bit weird to log onto "Oh what fun they're almost one" when that was last year!!

So let me get this right, Meme poss up duff. Beckle poss up duff. Insy deffo up duff... Everyone else wants to be. Fair summary?

Hope those who are waiting on AF or tests get results they want. All fingers crossed.
