eek eppm that does sound ominous....hope its nothing too bad.....

Flame for dd's report.

Phoenix I'd go for the pre school/I agree with Jas!

(sorry am typing one handed on meridians laptop, bless her for loan, I'm round for a quick coffee! before school run)

Full o snot again here, hence had day kinda off wk, so just been looking after dd2, popped into wk briefly, as the boys (dh and 1 x staff) can't seem to manage some stuff/they didn't want to do it themselves.....men!

mustrunmore · 19/11/2008 14:04

Hello

Frizbe · 19/11/2008 14:05

not working during training hours....give us a bit more time and you might have that job mrm baby steps 1st
I had to cancel my classes last night due to horrible cold, and they've blooming charged me, on top of my gym membership not happy, but apparently if don't canx within 24 hrs, even gym members now get charged extra I was feeling ok monday night.

Frizbe · 19/11/2008 14:06

hello and goodbye too, as Meridian is just finishing her hoovering, so must go and be a good guest

mustrunmore · 19/11/2008 14:11

Jeez, thats a bit rough. It annoys me enough when the dentist charges for missed apppointments, but you dont pay a membership to him!

So, I'll wait till you open another branch before I look for work, ok?!

EachPeachPearMum · 19/11/2008 14:33

erm... mrm... you are not a woman?
How did you have 2 DCs?

Friz- can't believe they charge you for canceled classses when you are a member
Surely they should be come and go as you please?

Flamesparrow · 19/11/2008 16:01

@ still charging you!!!

I am now petitioning for WorkOutWench

Jas · 19/11/2008 19:26

I'm only here looking for the results of the meeting at the nursery EPPM. How did it go??

WorkOutWench gets my vote.....try it on for a bit and see if it grows on you.

EachPeachPearMum · 19/11/2008 19:58

Just put dd down...

Well- relief I think.
Good news- nursery isn't closing.
Bad/Sad news- 2 members of staff have been suspended from her room
Basically there have been a number of complaints from parents/other staff members about the 2 staff and the way they carry out procedure etc. No actual incident with a child thank goodness.
It's hard for us, as DD only attends very short hours compared to other children, because of DH working from home. She arrives 9:30 ish amd leaves 4:30 ish- yeah long enough for a 2 year old, but certainly less than all the others.
The concerns raised have been about first thing and last thing, so we haven't really observed any problems.
I am a bit as 1 of the staff members DD was sooooo happy to be back with (they had a staff shuffle 3 weeks ago)and up till then had started to say "I don't want to go to nursery"... and since the change round she had been keen to go, and come home happy every day.
I understand why they have done what they have though.
One of the people who goes into their room from tomorrow is actually one of DD's favourites, so she will be cheered up by that.

EachPeachPearMum · 19/11/2008 20:01

WorkOutWench is a great name too mrm

Phoenix · 20/11/2008 09:48

Aaarrrggghhh Ds is doing my head in.

Every morning he comes downstairs with his dummys and throws them in the sink and has his milk and breakfast. Then about this time he starts asking for a dummy again so i say no. The tears start (pretend tears with pathetic baby voice i should add) and he says 'my a baby mummy, my a baby.' When he doesn't get a dummy from doing that he starts asking for his pushchair (ie a nap) because he knows he'll get a dummy that way and once he's woke up from his nap the dummy just stays with him all day. How can i stop it or is it just easier to do what i normally do and give in cos i get sick of hearing him

Oh well i ignored him and he seems to have forgot that he's meant to be crying for a dummy/nap. He's happily watching Peppa Pig

i kinda like it, but it sounds a bit conceited. I know you lot know me, but imagine if another mnetter saw me in real life, they'd think I was a total idiot, cos if you have a name like that it implies you look good and actually are fit, IYSWIM.
Maybe I'll try and see.

Flamesparrow · 20/11/2008 11:05

You are aware that I am not actually a small flaming bird, and as far as I know, EPPM isn't a fruit....

Jas · 20/11/2008 13:53

My rl name isn't jas, nor do I have Jazz connections. Stop over analysing woman!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2008 15:39

In RL it's not as though my household can't or won't sleep...

EachPeachPearMum · 20/11/2008 16:32

And Frizbe is not a frisbee!

Flamesparrow · 20/11/2008 17:54

Is too

mustrunmore · 21/11/2008 09:06

ok ok you pests. I juast dont like the word 'workout' ok?! i'd be happier with PEWench, but thats not very catchy!

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2008 09:14

Then we would be forced to call you Pepe...

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2008 09:14

(Why didn't you mention not liking work out instead of whinging about the woman bit? )

mustrunmore · 21/11/2008 18:11

Cos I hate woman more than workout

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2008 19:01

Gah.

WeirdOverexercisingWench

Jas · 21/11/2008 21:47

It is nicer than anything I can think of....do we have to have wow initials?

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2008 22:14

I like wow
