Oh, the FEb 08 thread is finally full up I hated the title, and it irritated me every time I saw it (my eye being drawn to the Feb bit).

WOW much better

Flooring man arrived today. Moaned that he couldn't get on drive (new one mostly laid but still curing), moaned that builder's stuff was over the first floor that he was due to lay (new bedroom - builder was here to move it all), then moaned at the disgusting state of study and hall which he's laying tomorrow (I've been moaning to dh about state of study for literally years to no avail!). Dh just back from meeting recruitment consultant, so now is having a mad dash to clear up .
Dh forgot to put the bin out this morning, despite me reminding him literally as he was on his way out of the door. Collection is only fortnightly, and we couldn't empty the bins into the wheelie this week as it was, as it was full by last week .

Brrrrrr am freezing! Took jumper off as had warmed up, then had 2 children asleep on my lap for the last 1.5 hrs, and can't move to get it back on. Hands are like ice blocks!
Good job dh making dinner with me stuck here. Sadly been unable to sleep myself at the same time.

Cold a combination of being ill, doors being opened repeatedly by workmen, and being totally sedentary (due to 2 dc on lap) whilst not wearing enough clothes!

Dd's new room is finished, and just needs furnishing now . Will put a pic up a bit later.

Dh's existing contract just been extended until end of Jan, and a chance that there may be one more month after that .

DS has a cold. It seems to relate to not sleeping....he refused to stay in his cot (has been able to get out for ages, but never does, usually)and was up mucking about til 10 last night.
Finally fell asleep on the top bunk!

CSWS, brrrrr for you being cold, I cant get your flooring photo to load up at the mo either, damn slow connection for broadband I say.... great news for dh re the contract extension. I had the same with our bin last Friday, but the bin men emptied it for me (think they wanted an xmas tip anyone) I looked a right prat stood in the drive in my PJ's whilst they giggled at my and yelled 'its alrite love we've done it' (they have previously left it, when we've forgotten before)

Jas for ds being poorly, dd2 delightfully came out in a 'viral rash' last Thur, lasted 3 days = 3 day confinement to house for dh and I (he got forced to stay at home by me with her on Fri = his 1st day off in yonks)

Phoenix, friend here just had a little boy and was horribly sick for all of it, previous 2 were girls and she was fine!! so could well be a girl if it is, I have a load of clothes for you will happily drop on my way past sometime in 9mths or so will give the contents of our loft somewhere to go!

EPPM I'm over your way this weekend visiting my friend, we're apparently off to see some monkeys at a scantuary, then heading into town for the German Market, would offer to meet up, but prob won't have time, but thought I'd mention it, so you don't think I'm being ignorant Am hoping the girls sleep ok at her house (and don't fall down her very steep stairs...)

Hope your all doing good ish anyway, I still have stinky cold from hell (week 4, gah) but as you can gather am escaping work this weekend to head from Brum, hurrah!
