And I lost the link to yours

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 19:35

Wow- tg you won't lose on the accommodation then.
Could I just ask (as I wasn't here at the time...) is babydragon a feb '06er? or is this just a nappy hijack?

I am utterly shattered- DD is off nursery for a week, and I have got to the stage where I need a nap every day... but of course I'm not getting one She has been an absolute angel though, is playing really nicely and 'looking after Mama'. At least all her new christmas presents are getting plenty of use. She has also really taken to watercolour painting [poncoid emoticon] ... well- I don't have any other type of paints.... she has done some more today and loves it, she also strung some beads into a necklace and a bracelet- christmas present from Nana- I can;t believe she did them herself- they are so little and fiddly, but I suppose having dinky hands helps.

Jas · 30/12/2008 19:45

Yes, she is an intermittant visitor to this thread

EPPM - You could borrow ds for the week! He seems to have decided holidays are for lying in bed watching videos of Toy Story I've had to unplug it!
I can see trouble ahead after New Year when I try and re-introduce a normal routine again.

Flamespar · 30/12/2008 20:22

Aww for creativity!

BabyDragon was only announced when she was born, the pregnancy wasn't mentioned on MN at all (I am still impressed by that, I need to whinge about pregnancy as much as humanly possible).

DS would happily lay and watch toy story all day too, well, he allows us to intersperse Enchanted and HSM (), oh and Mr Tumble.

Phoenix · 30/12/2008 20:34

Ds doesn't particularly watch anything but he has Nick Jnr on all day in the background. He knows if we turn it over though even though he isn't really watching it

You'll remember what shattered really feels like soon EPPM .
Do you have boys' clothes sorted btw, or do you want some of the ones that ds has outgrown?

Should we start attempting to set a date yet for our meet up btw, on the basis that it takes us weeks/months to find one that we can all make?

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 20:35

Jas- VERY intermittent ... how long have I been on here now? First time I noticed!
Lying in bed watching TV all day sounds bliss at the moment... don't think DD would do it though

SoupDragon · 30/12/2008 20:38

I lurk more than post. As I had a StealthBaby I'm kind of an interloper

I've got Waterproof sheet somewhere Flame, thanks.

somewhere...

Jas · 30/12/2008 20:53

I've always imagined you lurk on here all the time Soupy, as you seem to appear with useful info/offer of baby shoes/questions at all the right times

I was also very impressed at Stealth Baby.....I need to moan, too.

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 20:57

CSWS- yes- I am starting to panic slightly and think... I don't actually want another baby after all bit late now I think...
We are sorted for 0-3 stuff, as DDs was all neutral. Will let you know about 3-6. I am worried he is going to be a monster though- you wouldn't believe the size of my bump- someone asked me today if it was twins!
Completely beachbally though- DH says that from the back you still wouldn't know I was pg. (Nice to hear, but I think he does actually mean it )

Meet-up..... erk [people can leave the house with 2 children? emoticon]

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:02

No EPPM! Last time we all left the children at home, and had a sleepover at csws' house

Phoenix · 30/12/2008 21:04

ooooh yes to meet up, when are we thinking?

OP posts:
Jas · 30/12/2008 21:05

Most people who comment on bump sizes are trying (and failing) to make polite conversation...we went straight from, "Oh, I didn't know you were pg", to "Have you still not had it then?"
grrr.

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:05

Feb?

WellOiledWench · 30/12/2008 21:06

sCAN READ ALL, BUT ONL GOT TIME TO JUSTIFY MYELF TO fMAE..you know I love you, but you also know the situation with my friend. She neds a break, even if just up the road, but cant be alone. So thatd why we're doing that. I wILL make time for you I proimse.

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:09

Come to a meet up then WOW...you have much more of a life than me, so we need possible dates. I can't actually think of anything I am doing next year at all until Easter.

WellOiledWench · 30/12/2008 21:11

Any time that doesnt clash with aerobics

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 21:12

How can I leave DS at home when he will (all willing) be bf, and v teeny still?

I am available for the next year.....

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:15

Well I'm guessing csws will still be bfing ds, too, so maybe a compromise could be made, if dd would stay home with EPPD

Are we coming to you csws??

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/12/2008 21:31

Yes, to me. Obviously you could bring ds EPPM . My pro-bf credentials would be in tatters if I invited you without him .

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 21:36

lets see how he sleeps first though

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:38

lol. So glad you said that csws. It seemed a bit forward for me to be assuming.

Do you have any dates to suggest?

EachPeachPearMum · 30/12/2008 21:38

Oooh- btw- you will be pleased to know you have been named on another thread as a serious cake maker.... is this true?

Here though of course Majeika may be confusing you with CoV

Jas · 30/12/2008 21:39

He can't be much worse than csws' ds, surely.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/12/2008 21:41

I'm free for the rest of my life . Although if we want dd away for the night then there'll be a 6 week block that I can't make in Feb/March, as the in-laws are touring Aus and NZ. Unless I can find an unsuspecting friend to take her, which I might be able to do (do you lurk on this thread at all TattyCatty ?).
