WoW- sorry about DS1... hope he is okay by thursday poor thing.

CSWS- glad DS is sleeping for longer- how do you do it in your bed? What happens re duvet? We could never sort this with DD, so we didn't really ever do it unless absolutely necessary.

I've been to panto tonight- John Barrowman - with work.

Did all my food shopping today.. my FF is utterly heaving now! Am so glad I was dawdling... as right at the end, they announced over the tannoy that they had just received delivery of Wii Fits.... so I finally got one for DH!
I have been checking the stock for weeks, and didn't think I'd have any chance of getting one... he is going to be over the moon!

Didn't actually manage to do the kitchen but did sort out the worktops... cupboards tomorrow!

DP is out all day, I'm going to clean and tidy as much as I can while the dds wrap their presents and entertain my friends ds.

Jas- panto was okay- not really my thing I think...never was when I was little either tbh. It was really 'adult' in many ways- I know maybe it's because we don't watch television, but there was a lot of dialogue which I wouldn't have wanted DD to hear not even until she was quite a bit older.
And... (might be committing sacrilege here) but I don't particularly see the appeal of John Barrowman- he is gay? so what's to drool over?

I've just got in from work. I did 10-1pm collecting the last few bits of mail, you wouldn't believe how many christmas cards are still been posted. I even pulled one out of a post box this morning that was for Australia

Anyway i've done now til Saturday and have just cracked open a bottle of schloer

DH is just building DD's dollshouse..... not too much swearing going on He is almost done, so I can put the furniture in and wrap it.

We have had loads of tears here today- overwrought, and way too scared of the man in red- she really doesn't want him to come in her house bless her- I told her only our family will be at our christmas, and he doesn't have to come in if she doesn't want. We all made mince pies together this afternoon though, we she loved!

I don't like mince pies. Dh has eaten about 6 or 7 of them today, as well as 9 on Saturday.

He has developed a bit of a cold, and 3 people here have chest infections, so it is a house of lurgy. I got very little sleep last night as ds unsettled, and am absolutely knackered now.

I've just opened my presents Dh has just gone to bed in a huff... long story but essentially my fault . Aerobics instructor saved the day with parcels within parcels; so much fun to open lots of bits. And a new pe top and make up and nail p0lish And my friend got me beautiful underwear and other friend chose a perfect book

I GOT MY NEW LAPTOP!!! am very chuffed, have just emaild my mate whose emigrated to NZ and told him I got a new webcam too, skype here I come

CSWS dd2 very scared of Santa here too, but I think that was cause of hitting a small boy at nursery on Tue with her for that.

I posted a card to Oz last week too, only have realised since that the recipient has moved, so we sent it to the wrong address!

Dd very excited by all the presents. Biggest hits definitely the stuff that we chose for her - a scooter, a styling head (from ds), a camera (from grandparents), and another princess dress and shoes. She still has a few to open later too.

Well- DD got up at 8.20...so we all had a decent amount of sleep, she didn't see her stocking though until I pointed it out!
Christmas dinner went well... except I forgot to do the stuffing AND the sprouts! oops

DD has just gone for a nap (thank goodness- she is super tired with excitement) -she has loved her presents so far- I only got her to nap on the promise of a present when she woke up bad mama!

DH and MIL are playing wii fit, and his mum is beating h im at everything (she is a tai chi instructor, and has excellent fitness and balance, whereas he sits behind a keyboard all day, even if he is skinny, he isn't particularly fit. (well- I think he's fit, but thats a different meaning where I come from).

Hey spooky... we forot the stuffing and sprouts too! Well, I say 'we', I mean dh cos I've had such a bad cold I've been dosed on lemsip and too crap to move all day. So I missed my xmas day run Gonna do a boxing day one instead, as I've found a friend to dump the kids on

Hey, after me being really hacked off with my pressies from dh, he produced perfume too And I got perfume from my good friend; he came and hid it in the house te other day

I got up at 5 to get a bath, dry and straighten my hair before ds got up. I thought i had plenty of time but no he was up 15mins after me. He opened his stocking bits in our room then we all went down together once i'd dried my hair.

My brother has bought him a bloody drum set. How long before the drum sticks strangely go missing

Ds has been so tired all day and has just had a few short naps while travelling between relatives houses. He was asleep tonight within a few minutes of going to bed
