CSWS- hahaha...yes, she is mostly impeccably behaved...except for me

She was good again today...but I went to my christmas meal with work this eve, so Nana was putting her to bed... and she complained about every little thing- 'No Nana, Mama doesn't do my pyjamas like that!' cue me going off to the bathroom to check what the problem was...erm- Yes I do do them like that! little madam.
DH got home just before she went to sleep, and he said she clung to him like a limpet, and wouldn't let him go for ages.
She's just checking we still love her I suppose.

Better get to bed... even though she has woken around 9am all week- I just know it will be 10 to 7 in the morning because it's saturday

Jas · 20/12/2008 00:06

I know csws - I went and checked too I knew that her feb baby was no 2 but thought they were boys

DS is much better.

DD2 is very teary

I've (re)wrapped the presents this evening.

EachPeachPearMum · 20/12/2008 22:03

Well, it wasn't 6.50, it was 7.30... but it still felt early enough
We had a nice day though- park in the morning (had to drive as my back is too bad to push her in the buggy ), cafe for lunch with best friend (ours, not DD's! Though she adores him too), Snowman on DVD this afternoon, and playing until bedtime. Had a lovely, lovely time
DH's birthday tomorrow...

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/12/2008 07:43

Happy Birthday MrEPPM!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/12/2008 07:45

Or should he be EPPD?

Jas · 21/12/2008 09:35

Happy birthday!

(It is my mums birthday today, too and I forgot to give her her card on Friday)

DP was up and out early, I managed to ignore all children and let them watch videos til 9am, so that counts as a lie in here

EachPeachPearMum · 21/12/2008 13:07

DD woke at 8:30 today, so not too bad...

We have been given (by a friend of Nana's) a wooden reindeer that goes in teh garden, so DH put it on the lawn for DD to see this morning when her curtains were opened.
We hate it but she ADORES it! He has been named Addis!

EachPeachPearMum · 21/12/2008 19:06

DH had a lovely birthday thankyou- he was very touched that you wished him HB!

DD gone off early- she was absolutely shattered, I am going very soon too.
Our friend who lives in Denmark is over here for christmas so we had a nice day catching up... he didn't know I was pg for a start, as last time he was here, I had just m/c so we weren't exactly talking about more babies IYSWIM, so that was a surprise for him.

Am intending to completely gut the kitchen tomorrow.... wish me luck- I need to fit DH's new coffee machine in there, and clear out a cupboard or two that haven't been done for about 2 years and 10 months.....
An early night should give me some energy I hope.

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 20:05

Hello
Just checking in really. Notthing diffrent going on here. Boys up being pests. Dh at work so I cant run till about 10pm cos I fell asleep after aerobics this morning . In my defence, it was very very hot in there today so I worked extra hard!

Still tryin to think of something I caqn do once ds2 goes full time (yes, I know its a way off, but I need to plan!)... I need money, but I dont want it to interrupt my classes and running Upped it a bit so we're now doing about 40 mins run straight away after class 2 or 3 times a week, plus maybe a little run or two on my own too

For the 1st time i years, I'm really desperate to open my pressies

Jas · 21/12/2008 20:07

Sounds like nesting already EPPM

I'm sure I should be doing things, but just don't know what

I've planned out the next two days....we are going to ~PWP on Tuesday, as our season tickets expire early in Jan and I want to use them a bit more first

DS needs get get out and run around a bit, too.

Jas · 21/12/2008 20:11

X posts. Hello WOW

DS isn't even part time at nursery until April, and I'm thinking the same thing.

I'm half heartedly looking for evening work now.

Are you sure you couldn't work in fitness training? It would be the obvious choice for you!

lol at little run. A little run is here to the end of the road!

No pressies for me this year, but I am still looking forward to Christmas. I've downgraded my expectations and am feeling much more relaxed as a result.

Jas · 21/12/2008 20:43

I introduced ds to Poisson Rouge today. It may have been a mistake, as now I will have to fight all three of them for computer time

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/12/2008 21:38

Evening work - when will you find time to MN?!

Am tired - ds sleeping fairly well at night, but am having busy days at the moment, and dd is getting up too early. Christmas lunch with the NCT crowd tomorrow - am on pudding duty. Off to bed v shortly.

Jas · 21/12/2008 21:55

Well I can't actually find anything atm, so no worries just yet

Is ds sleeping in his amby?

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 21:55

I love poisson rouge

Er, no Jas, there's no way I could work in fitness cos i'm really not at all fit. I just like to bounce around My instructor/friend/person we never made a mn abbreviation for thinks I should just do the course. When we were very very drunk the other night she was saying after I do it we'll just ahre the classes But can you imagine me being the lardy crap one out of everyone. I'd die of shame. Oh, and I have no co ordination I'd love to do the course just for the satisfaction though.

did the Bollywood Workout tonight for a change

Also gotta brsak it to dh that I'm leaving him xmas morninig so we can go for a run

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 21:56

Woah, Jas, you're actually here same time as me! Hello

Jas · 21/12/2008 21:58

Is the course £££?
I think you should do it....you would enjoy it.

Jas · 21/12/2008 21:58

Hellooooooo!

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 22:05

Think could do the basic YMCAFit exercise to musci for £600 thruogh ICS. Mainly coursework and only 3 days assessmnet It'd be better than nothing although not as good as aeally intensive thing.

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 22:10

But that would mean spending my tummy tuck money on it There's been a bit of a change. I'm not going for full tuck althought thatswhat it needs, I think I'm just gpoig for lipo... because..... touchwood and I hope it comes off.... there's a small to fair chance that I might be goig on holiday for2 weeks with no kids in the summer . So that would be my tuck money spent, althought we're getting a great deal thruogh the father of the friend I'd be going with. But iuts not def yet, she needs to see how a few things pan out, so I'm nor getting my hopes up. I do feel very guilty that its all my savings gone gone gone. But can you imagine, 2 weeks of being a teeneger again WE're gona sleep all morninig, train all afternoon, drink and dance all night And i havent been abroad since 2002. And plan B in the event of her not being able to go abroad is same plan in the UK!

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 22:16

Oh, have you gone?

Jas · 21/12/2008 23:10

Sorry.

I'm definitely not still here

2 weeks being a teenager sounds good
LOL @ the fact that daily training is part of your idea of fun though.
You really should try and do that course as well. Even if it didn't lead to any work, I can't imagine you regretting doing it.

WellOiledWench · 21/12/2008 23:27

Missed you again! Sorry, I was on the pole

Of course we'll still train on hols She's about the only person I'd wanna go on hol with, largely for that reason And her capacity for consuming alcohol!

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/12/2008 08:22

You're nuts WOW!

No re Amby Jas. He had a 40 min nap in it yest morn, but that's the only time he's been in it for about 10 days. He's sleeping on his tummy in the middle of our bed. He didn't do a long stretch last night , and I was just getting used to him having a 5 or 6 hour stretch. He was a bit unsettled at times during the day too though, and a bit windy, so I suspect I'd eaten something that didn't quite agree. Really hoping it's not soya. He was a bit snuffly overnight too, and woke with a big hard lump of dried snot under his nose. I loved picking it off .

WellOiledWench · 22/12/2008 08:43

Why? I'm the most sane out of the lot of you!

Bad night here too; ds1 throwing up all night again.
