I ladies thought I would start this..

I cant believe they are starting to and are going to be turning one.. This year has flown over.. I miss being pregnant. But i love watching lee playng with his older brother and sister, it always makes me smile.
I love the fact that he is now playing properly , will go to his toy box pull himself up and see what he wants to play with.. normally after throwing everything round the front room first..No such thing as a tidy room in this house.. How do people do it.

Hope everyone is ok.. speak soon

very quickly popping in - huge congrats to pula - hooray!
Hi to catstar - lovely to hear from you!
Fingers crossed for justabout when you decide to try.
Madmum - we got a full night of sleep last night but it's still normally 2 wake ups at least - aaaggghhh!
Doris we used same method as you - just not trying not to! Had to actively "try" last time !
Jennster hope all is going well with your wee bean.
Got to go as minimeep is calling!

Must be the dh's, mine is scuffing his toes and saying so you really think you might be..... don't think he'd really thought 3dc's through all the way past the heat of the moment-- serious discussion but hey we'll find out soon enough!

Hi guys, just a little update got my BFP yesterday ( after a few false starts, but that another story and I'm just too too repeat it here)

No idea of my due date as we weren't really trying, so fairly lax dates of AF, I've guesssed around 2 weeks before date of conception (one of two saturdays it's not like I have loads of time for BD!!!) and edd is 30 May! Am not joining the May thread till I have seen the Doc and demanded asked for a dating scan which I will need for CVS ( with Lydie's CF we can take no chances) As it may be a June bean can not get too excited yet as have to wait for CVS but just to let you know if I disappear of the face of the earth in a coup[le of weeks I'll most probably be head down in the loos!!!!

pulapula · 22/09/2008 21:32

Congrats Doris, Let's hope the CVS goes ok. Is there a higher probability of another CF child- sorry i don't know much about whether there is a genetic cause.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 22/09/2008 22:15

Thanks for the congrats am not getting too excited atm as still too many hurdles to jump

CF is totally gentic and with each pregnancy from 2 carriers ( dh and I) there is a 1 in 4 or 25% chance of CF so relatively high risk

will have a few weeks to wait before i can get a cvs.....

hoping everyone else is ok

madmarriedNika · 22/09/2008 22:23

Doris- huge congrats
Just wanted to check you got my email...my system's been playing up a bit

Know how hard the next few weeks will be until the CVS results...hope you get a dating scan asap...here to talk to if you want anytime! In th 2WW wait now to see if I too get a BFP...but DH & I were both ill last week so not sure of our chances this month!

Mairi has finally taken a few solo steps! Yippee ! And is doing well at feeding herself now...but I'm trying not to obsess about how much she's eating as she really doesn't like me shovelling food into her anymore- wants to do it all herself (and consequently a lot less going in!)...So I must relinquish control- but it's hard (& still incredibly messy)!!

Hope all your LOs are doing well...
DS starts preschool tomorrow...am teary already!!!

Yes, it was nice to see justabout and her 2 DSs again. Amazing how they have both changed since our first meeting 8 or 9 months ago. Her DS2 was so smiley all the time (he loved Ben's ball pool).

Doris- nice to see you on the due in May antenatal thread. Jennster is also there and I assume Catstar and Meep are a month or more further on. Have I missed any more pg ladies?

catstar · 02/10/2008 11:20

So pleased to read about your news Doris and I hope the time passes quickly until you can do the relevant tests. Hopefully your DD's will keep you nice and busy with all their running around! IIRC you suffered terrible morning sickness last time? Hope you are getting on okay so far.

Good to hear from you 2+1 and glad the move went well - also must be a relief that DH is not off to a warzone.

of all the news of LO's taking steps and running etc! Little O still not there although now wants to stand ALL THE TIME so I think we are close!

Pulapula - I can't even remember if I congratulated you on your news so apologies!!! Hope you are doing well.

I am 20 weeks pg now and at last seem to have come through the worst of the ms so hopefully it's just a case fo growing now . I've got my anomoly scan next week and am desparate to find out the sex! I can't stand the suspense.

To all - I hope you are all well !!

twoplusone · 08/10/2008 18:49

Good luck at your scan..

HAd some potentially bad news today.. sorry I am whining again!!.. Looks like DH is off again in August back to were he has just been!!!.. FFS I am getting really peed of with this now.. so when he gets back from Kuwait we will have 8 months before he goes.. but prob only 6 with all the training they have to do and looks like he will be the instructor. We will know more in the new year I can but hope he wont have to go..!!!! but when he spoke to the boss today he said looks like you will be going as you know all the kit out there etc, etc.... SO tat will take us to feb 2010.. then Aug 2010 we will be moving again, hopeful;ly 2011 will be our year.. I know I a looking into the future abit but I need too to give myself some sanity.
I really am all me me me arnt I sorry..
Hope everyone is ok
Goping to enjoy the next week with my hubby before he goes away..

Settled for a bag of Sports Mixture instead. Strictly adults onlym but DS found the extra bag of jelly babies I'd opened and managed to help himself. Naughty boy.
