Ahhhh SOL...How lovely
I kissed ds1 last night he was asleep

Doobydoo · 10/05/2008 21:19

oh Eca that sounded so sad..him patting his chest

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 21:28

eca, sorry to hear T has been ill, hope he is on the mend
elkie, very strange, are you convinced it's his teeth or could it be something else?
K sounds lovely SOL - awake and chatty! As does your description of M crawling doooby.
T is getting more confidence with the walking thing, seems to take a step or to and then lunge towards wherever he was going. Also seems to be standing up more while not holding on. Wish he would just do it!

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 21:32

I couldn't resist putting a photo of T in his new dungarees on my profile, even though he does look very tired in it. Not sure why it felt that should go under the hedgehog cakes though

penpotEca · 10/05/2008 21:37

SPB - he's so cute! But obviously the hedgehog cake is your crowning glory as a mother

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 21:40

yes my profile page would seem to think it beats T in the cuteness stakes hands down!
Well, now I have come on and posted self centredly again I will goand spend some time with DH before bed.
elkie hasn't been on again, hope all is well.
Oh sleeping - T is currently wearing a vest and is wrapped in a thin blanket and has another over him (feet were sticking out). Normally he'd have a sleepsiuit on as well and prob only one blanket, but tonight he fell asleep on me before I had the chance.

Sexonlegs · 10/05/2008 21:45

SPB, T is an utter cutie And that cake is stupendous

Dooby, really hope M is better soon - he is having a crap time isn't he.

Right, going to bed as am not sure what night we are gong to get.

Spending the day with dh's work colleagues tomorrow - they have a Dragon Boat Race going on. No idea what to expect!

So, sleep well lovelies and see you tomorrow some time. xx

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 21:46

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 21:59

And I would bake all our necessary hedgehog cakes.
I think Gm would have to do the real, grown up cooking though.

zazas · 10/05/2008 21:59

Just popping in to say hello Hope sick babies get better and tired Mummies get some sleep and CD gets a new job and NL settles in her house.

All mad here as usual. S is well which is lovely and can say 'star' which makes me laugh. No walking, no all night sleeping but happy and content which will just have to do!

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2008 22:00

hi zazas, lovely to see you!

MayPolerBear · 10/05/2008 22:24

Seasonal name change!

Pisha · 10/05/2008 22:40

No! You cant change the first bit of your name, in my quick glance thats all I read, I will now have to take the time to reads your whole name!

Ok I caught up with most news yesterday and had loads I wanted to say but now cant remember much so apologies to all i miss

Caz - I'm really sorry about appeal Good luck with sorting out new schools for all of them, what a nightmare at crappy LEA tossers people.

Dippy - about job but I'm sure you'll find a new one soon and now you've been and are working it'll be much easier than before

SPB - sorry T still poorly What exactly are HVs and GPs saying is normal about it?! How can they dismiss it? Perhaps keeping a food diary and including in it T's d&v and how he is in himself might give you something to show them? He is so cute in that pic, looking like a proper little boy now! And such gorgeous big eyes

Baby crying brb

MayPolerBear · 10/05/2008 22:55

Hve been and come back again, T coughed himself awake
I know Pesha - I keep seeing 'new' posts in threads I'm on and getting all excited then realising it's me after all
I need some RL I think!

Baby stopped crying as soonm as I got to bottom of stairs

Dooby - dont feel bad about dogs. I will be getting rid of my dog at end of year. I dont walk him as often or for as long as he needs really, fitting it in with 3 dc is so hard when only places nearby to walk him are little parks so I have to drive to anywhere decent for him. I'm fed up with him eating socks and chewing toys and shitting all over the garden (I know thats normal for dogs obviously but more of a problem with D not walking yet and it being hot so wanting to be outside now iyswim) and turns out it was him ate the missing mini rolls TBH I think part the problem is that I went off him when pg, his smell made me physically sick and I ended up almost disliking him. I don't dislike him anymore but have never quite got back to where we were. So my dad is going to have him autumn sometime when he gets back from France. Dad works outside so will be able to take him with him a lot of the time and he also goes for 2 or 3 hour walks every sat and sun even without a dog which is much more than I can give him. I think dog is ok here, reasonably happy and well looked after with us but will be so much happier with my dad.

Took DD to a party today intending to just drop her off and leave but she got all clingy and didnt want me to go so I ended up staying for tyhe whole thing with N and D too who both ate food and N ran around like a nutter as usual. Feeling a bit about staying with 2 uninvited dc although the mum didnt seem to mind but still seems bit of a cheek. Will apologise again on monday.

D still got bit of a dodgy tummy from bug last week and not quite himself but ok. Have put pic on profile of him feeding lying on top of me the other morning in bed cos it was so cute! Meant to say SPB - if T is haveing tummy problems I would have thought BM would be the best thing for him, more natural and easier on his tummy than cow's milk anyway. D eating very little and has been for last um month maybe. After eating loads non stop he has now gone the other way and only picking at little bits then throwing most on the floor am assuming it was a growth spurt before that has now ended. Still full of smiles for everyone though so I'm not worried.

CaptainDippy · 10/05/2008 22:57

OP posts:
Pisha · 10/05/2008 23:26

Thanks dippy. I think she understood, she was very nice about it and I know her a bit cos she was on Maia's workshop thing with me. Couple other people there helping gave me looks which could have just been blank looks cos there minds were on other things but could also have been slightly dirty looks Ah well, dc had great fun anyway!

How are things with you?

CaptainDippy · 10/05/2008 23:36

Stop being paranoid I am ok, just feeling a bit pissed off with my boring, monotonous life iykwim!!?

OP posts:
Pisha · 10/05/2008 23:37
