Hello all.

Where's the flat Andiem? My old stomping ground you know

DS2 rode a bike on his own, with no stabilisers I am proud of him, and me for teaching him

andiem · 07/04/2008 18:09

yeah for foxcub2 way to goooo
foxy it backs onto alum chine so good location for beach and is about 10mins walk from westbourne

mhc I think you should confront her and ask her what it is all about but that is me

lilQuidditchKel · 07/04/2008 18:42

anyone any help with nigthmares in a 2 yr old? I'll post elsewhere too but DS has really started suffering with them, to some extent, most nights. Last night was awful. He's so clingy for DH too

RiaisMaLarkin · 07/04/2008 19:17

Sorry, no advice LilKel.

I have posted a very unhelpful response on your thread MHC, mainly because I was narked on your behalf that someone thought it was a joke (why would anyone joke like that?), no advice, sorry. I suppose you could ask her outright, but that's not what I would do, I would bottle it all up and fester, then post a rant on here, but that's the kind of person I am.

I have had a crap afternoon and I think the pilot light has gone out on the gas central heating. So I am freezing.

But, I think I may have entered a parallel universe! I made the DCs salmon, mash & veg and they ate it all, the bigboys watched Dr Who together (again) without fighting, and baggins and DS2 are asleep in their own beds, DS1 doing SATS revision

Now I had better tidy the kitchen before DH gets back (and tidy the living room incase DF has to come round and sort the heating out.)

wow Ria, would love it if my DS would eat all of anything I made for him...

Hi fury, are you feeling better?

Well done with the bike foxy.

Hi MHC.

LittleMissNorty · 08/04/2008 10:33

Hi all....DD is fine, thanks for asking ....still loads of yellow snot very morning but hey ho! She's quite happy in herself and appetite is returning I'm glad to say.

Hope everyone else is well??

Bloody hell....DD just stood up against sofa and yanked all the parcels off onto her head ....she couldn't do that yesterday....

Right off to PO to get rid of aforementioned e-bay parcels...

later x

andiem · 08/04/2008 10:45

have a friend coming for lunch today who is preg after her 4th ivf attempt am dumping donating all my baby stuff to her

LittleMissNorty · 08/04/2008 11:57

Ah that's lovely news Andie about your friend....is she expecting more than one?

lackaDAISYcal · 08/04/2008 12:32

afternoon.

I'm in a ranty mood today! We bought a bed in IKEA yesterday, and tried to arrange delivery for Friday when DH is back rom work only to be told they only do next day delviery now. Fair enough, but DH is away so we specifically asked if they would put it upstairs so all I'd need to do is unpack it. Oh, yes no problem. so cue DH and I frantically tidying up our room and dismantling the old bed and putting it in the garage and bringing the old mattress downstairs before he left for work last night and I spent an uncomfortable night on the sofa.

Well, delivery came and they refused to take the new bed upstairs . not insured apparently. I'm livid. I now have two beds downstairs, none upstairs and a DH who is away until late Thursday evening. I can't fecking move in my hallway for mattresses, or close the stairgate (one is propped up the stairs). I'm convinced that DD is going to get flattened as well, as every time I turn my back she is in amongst it all.

I'm steeling myself for a ranting phonecall to IKEA this afternoon!

and waiting for DHs lovely friend to call round to try and help me upstairs with the bloody thing. He's only about 6stone wet through though so it might be an abortive attempt.

anyhoo.......mhc, I've not read your threads, but I'm off to do it now.

andiem, that's great news about your friend

lackaDAISYcal · 08/04/2008 12:35

I need to post more often...that was a huuuuge post!

glad DD is better norty. We have two top teeth and a sunny little girl again. these last few weeks have been just horrible with teething.

foxy...well done DS2 on the cycling. I need to get DS off his stabilisers, but I'm not a patient teacher and he gets hysterical too quickly so not a winning combination!

RiaisMaLarkin · 08/04/2008 12:51

DH & baggins have had a 3 hour nap this morning[shock. Bloody idle unemployed

I have about 15 mins more ironing to do.

Just having a break while waiting for DH to bring bakery treats for lunch.

about your bed daisy, but YOU SHOULD NOT take it upstairs yourself. I f I was there I would do it for you!!!

OP posts:
andiem · 08/04/2008 12:54

LittleMissNorty · 08/04/2008 13:10

great news about the flat Andie.....mmmmmm MN weekend

Daisy.....hope you get somewhere with IKEA - that is not on......think you need to do the "I'm pregnant with two small children, where am I going to sleep tonight and wtf are you going to do" routine.

Glad DDs top teeth came through....K's are really bulging but will not come through ....sending me mad!

Put some new photos on FB today.....I've bred a chocoholic

lackaDAISYcal · 08/04/2008 13:14

MN weekend....oooooooh, I'll come

off to see the midwife; back later

HellHathNoFury · 08/04/2008 13:35

Hello all
Yes Ria I am full of the joys of spring, I have got me an admirer at work to play with so I have cheered up a bit now.

I am naughty for sure but it will come to nothing, just having an MSN flirt

Daisy that is bollocks about the IKEA thing, I would be effing LIVID

Congrats on the offer acceptance Andie

ConnorTraceptive · 08/04/2008 13:48

Can I just hijack here and thank Littlemissnorty for her boy's name suggestion on my thread way back - you were indeed the winner! (we used the middle name if that makes it any clearer!)

LittleMissNorty · 08/04/2008 13:55

Awwww......congratulations

foxythesnowman · 08/04/2008 15:44

so much going on here!

I'm off to catch up, but Daisy get onto Ikea and don't let go. I got a free sofa bed and covers, plus loads of extras for free. I very nearly got them to re-do my wooden floors too (except I ran out of steam and was PG). Took bloody ages, but I got them to change a sofa for not supplying feet for it, causing the mechanism to buckle and scrape my wooden floors.
