I'm taking fidgit arse to bed. Nite all! xx

lackaDAISYcal · 10/04/2008 21:20

hi foxy.....bye foxy......

i'm off too.....need sleep and at least if i'm asleep i'm not feeling sick.

If you see me on here tomorrow tell me to fark orf. house in a state (so much for my start of the week spring clean) and i promised Dh I'd make a start on the detritus, but have been on here all week

where have my capital letters gone? i hold down the shift key, and when i've finished typing....no capitals....weirdy weirdy weird.

night all

oh, and on the nov AN thread they have shortened me to Lacka. It's great, like a whole new persona

lackaDAISYcal · 10/04/2008 21:22

yay, just checked my e-mail and i've been accepted for th Breast buddies course

lackaDAISYcal · 10/04/2008 21:29

oh, and one more thing (farking pregnant brain; it's off again)

IKEA are selling lovely sleeping bags, size 6mo plus for £9.99. They have a full length zip (popper ones are the bane of our existence here) which zips from top to bottom so no tabby bit for DC to mither with or lie on, and have a double baffle around the zip for keeping out draughts. Just as nice as any "leading brand" and less than haf the price.

I wish I'd bought two now!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 11/04/2008 06:44

Morning all.
Have read through all your evening chat, but have propmtly forgotten half of it The jamlet has had a sore bot the past couple of days too - not got to bleeding (yet?) but redder than normal. I think it's because she's had plenty of noxious poos, possibly teething related?

And dinner was AMAZING!!! We decided to decline FIL's offer of a lift there and then a pick up later when we realised it was a 45 minute drive each way, which would condemn him to 3 hours of driving, so it did mean we weren't drinking other than I had a G&T on arrival (£5!), but it didn't spoil anything really. The food was fab, adn the waiters were so helpful. Really attentive but not getting in the way at all. (And one of them was rather attractive Mind I also found DH really attractive in his suit so that was good) Bearing the price in mind, it'd have to be a rare treat but we both said YES we would go again, even if we were paying. The high points were the risotto and the strawberry & rhubarb pudding which were absolutely fantastic, some of the best food we've ever eaten - and I'm not really a fan of rhubarb even. It was nearly midnight when we got in, which was ridiculously late for me (I'd sat yawning heavily while waiting for pudding, but the incredibly strong espresso at the end sorted me out) and then we sat have rather large drinks with the inlaws, and I was up at 5.45 with the jamlet, so exhausted now but well worth it

Anyway enough of my wittering on, the other big thing was that the Jamlet waved yesterday. She's been raising her hand for a couple of days and I've wondered if it was meant as a wave, but yesterday afternoon she gave a deliberate wave to my FIL

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 11/04/2008 06:52

Sorry for long wittering post.

HellHathNoFury · 11/04/2008 11:39

Jammy you look great for your posh meal.

Hope all are well. Holly I hope things have improved at home with the sleep etc.
DS fell over at nursery yesterday and has scraped half his skin off from his forehead to his nose, he was playing outside.

I also had words with them for not feeding him enough, people don't seem to realise he eats almost adult size portions.

My hangover has gone. I am tired and world-weary today.
I have to drive to essex tomorrow which I feel like a hole in the head. All I want to do is sleep and watch trash tv.

Bumperlicious · 11/04/2008 11:58

Ooh fury I just cringed for poor DS reading that!

Jammy you looked fab, great hair too!

foxythesnowfox · 11/04/2008 12:04

Glad you had a good time Jammy, you look great. Glad to see you've stuck with the red hair too. Its lovely.

Am going for a drastic change myself, either bright red or blond. If blond it will be VERY temporary, but I turn 38 on Sunday and I am not too happy about it. My sister is a colourist, so I'm leaving myself in her hands.

Poor DS Fury! The first of many scrapes I suspect for the little fellow.

But I have no sympathy for your jaded mood - if you will go and get a RL, that's what happens.

RiaisMaLarkin · 11/04/2008 12:04

Your poor DS fury.
