OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxythesnowman · 09/04/2008 11:08

oh no Daisy. I don't fancy anyone!

HellHathNoFury · 09/04/2008 11:15

Foxy that's no good. Not even a bit of jack and sawyer from LOST?

LittleMissNorty · 09/04/2008 11:17

My postman is quite tasty and wears shorts whatever the weather

MMMMmmmm did you see George Clooney on breakfast TV this morning...

Hope DS1 is having a good BD Ria - did he like his telescope? And did you wrap it in Xmas paper?

right, back to work......

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 11:26

foxy...not even your DP?

actually there's a question to ponder....Who still fancies the pants off their DP/DH and after how many years?

After 12 years, I go through phases of fancying mine like mad to despising the very idea of him (sometimes within the space of an hour ), even though I lurve him dearly and couldn't bear to be without him. Is this normal?

Happy Birthday to Ria's DS

foxythesnowman · 09/04/2008 11:38

Good God NO Daisy!

HellHathNoFury · 09/04/2008 11:45

I have been married to DH for 4 years but we have been together (albeit secretly for a while) since 2000.
I adore him and fancy the pants off him always.

HellHathNoFury · 09/04/2008 11:45

But who can blame me, he's gorgeous

knickersinatwist · 09/04/2008 11:49

OK. Fury's hubby.

foxythesnowma · 09/04/2008 11:51

Ahem. T'was me.

HellHathNoFury · 09/04/2008 11:57

LOL

foxythesnowma · 09/04/2008 12:02

God I'm hopeless.

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 12:53

foxy, you've lost your "n", lol

isn't it about time the snowman melted for spring anyway?

mind you the weather we've been having......

foxythesnowma · 09/04/2008 13:45

I know, I went from mum to ma.

Am very excited for you Daisy. Have you joined a new AN thread? And are they as nice as us?

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 13:52

there's bloody thousands of 'em foxy, i can't keep up!

I feel a bit preachy as well....oh no, you can wear underwired bras, no don't eat any soft cheese whether pasteurised or not, oh that's just ligament stretchy pains......

I'm sure they all think i'm the thread know-it-all already.

there is one lady there though from the May 07 AN thread (Creena) who I've spoken to a few times before, and a few who live in or around Leeds, so who knows they may become RL friends as well!

but i'll never ever forget about you guys, though. you lot are my rock, seeing me through some very tough times over the last year and a half

fark me I'm feeling hormonal today

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/04/2008 14:00

Well we are clean and presentable. Got some cooking to do, but don't mind if we're still doing that when guests arrive, as long as the kitchen & bathroom are clean, the washing looks as if it's under control and there's space to sit down.

The Jamlet is a grizzly one today. Bright red cheeks again, loads of stinky poo, and nappy rash for the 1st time. I blinkin' hope those teeth come through soon!

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 14:09

I've just rescued DD from digging in the cat litter tray with her spoon!

I had a visit from the mental health nurse today. they are keeping an eye on me as I stopped the ADs when I thought I might be pregnant. She is coming back in two weeks, and thinks that getting signed off work until my next ML is a fine idea. I need to make an appointment to see the doctor so that I can get a sick line into work as I'm due back in four weeks!

anyway, after chatting to anyone from the MH team, I always feel a bit fragile emotionally.

I'm off to tackle the top of the chests of drawers in our bedroom which have a year plus of dust and rubbish on top.

foxythesnowma · 09/04/2008 14:17

That's great news about the sign off until your next ML. It'll be a weight off your mind. Of course there'll be the rolling of eyes and heavy sighs from your male dominated office, but you probably got that with your first PG anyway!

I found all the Christmas cards I wrote but didn't post today

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/04/2008 14:19

can they keep for next year foxy?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 09/04/2008 14:21

the jamlet is crashed out acroos my chest/shoulder. I'm glad she's napping but this isn't comfortable for me and typing is tricky, capitals a write off

foxythesnowma · 09/04/2008 14:25

never thought of that Jammy! They have made it to the recycling bin - am de-cluttering. As soon as my chilli is ready, we're off to the park. Its a beautiful day here.

LO crashed out face down in her baby nest. Quick cuppa and cake I think.

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 14:54

DD has been scuttling about in the ither room. she managed to unravel a whole roll of kitchen paper, in the style ofthe Andrex puppy and knock a bag of milkybar mini eggs off the too high shelf and scoff god knows how many before I got to her. At least three I think, given the outer shell bits in and around her gob, maybe more. i've had to prise two more out of her sweaty wee fists, to much screaming and hissy fitting. she will be bouncing around the walls till bedtime now

....and the winner of the North East parenting award is.........NOT me

knickersinatwist · 09/04/2008 14:57

frankly I'd react the same if anyone tried to prise chocolate from my sweaty paws!

foxythesnowman · 09/04/2008 15:02

I'd be a shite spy!

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 16:13

grr. there is a uniform shop about 20 mins walk away from DSs school. He desperately needs a couple of new sweatshirts as his are somehwere near the elbow all of a sudden. so, we walked round there after school; only o find out the bloody place shuts at 3pm. what the feck sort of use is that when you have school children who need to try on the clothes....harumph.

lackaDAISYcal · 09/04/2008 16:18

DS now complaining bitterly at me being on MN, but not letting him on the lego website for the bionicles games or the Cbeebies website (but muuuuuum it's educational; mrs P said so)

lol foxy...you would be a shite spy, but good recovery I thought
