Stop sulking!!!

NorthernLurker · 09/04/2008 22:59

How are the eyes?

CaptainDippy · 09/04/2008 23:01

Not fanatastic. Feeling really low this evening, can't figure out why .... I just feel like I am going 100 mph atm and I just want to stop for 5 secs ....

NorthernLurker · 09/04/2008 23:03

You are going at 100mph woman! You have two jobs, three children (under 5 - you lunatic ), a house and a husband who keeps being sent off for weeks at a time. No wonder your eyes won't open! It's a miracle you can stand upright

Aren't you off to centerparcs soon? Will that be a good break?

elkiedee · 09/04/2008 23:05

Help! I have a really really nasty taste in my mouth. Remind me to stay away from "In the News" topics, that's all I can say!

CaptainDippy · 09/04/2008 23:06

I'm dreading the trip tbh ..... going with outlaws. Need I say more ....

CaptainDippy · 09/04/2008 23:07

Am I guessing the "taste" is metaphorical Elkie hon!!? What happened??

NorthernLurker · 09/04/2008 23:08

Dippy - no you need not say anymore......make sure you hide in the sauna - and get 'accidentally' locked in the bathroom for a few hours with a good book!

Elkie - don't read In the News - it always goes bad!

elkiedee · 09/04/2008 23:11

I couldn't resist posting something that will be ignored if you want to look at what I've been reading from my profile.... I'll say no more!

NorthernLurker · 09/04/2008 23:13

I thought it would be that thread!

CaptainDippy · 09/04/2008 23:32

LOL right, off to bed .......

NorthernLurker · 09/04/2008 23:34

Night Dippy - i'm off too - time for a bath and a book. Hope all the poorly people are better in the morning

oooggs · 10/04/2008 08:23

at free prescriptions - I am collecting a few today as mine runs out on 11 April

Pinions · 10/04/2008 09:12

RIGHT. MORNING

Just to let you all know that T had his first injection yesterday - the Meningitus one I think (newish) and was AWAKE last night between 12.30 am and 4.45 am.

Have never seen such a strong reaction to an injection before. He was all over the bloody place thinking that it was party time for the 4 hours right the way through the night . Al the toys were out - shouting - banging - general madness . He was completely wired.

Zebedee on speed.

Then in a split second he was flaked out .

By far the strangest reaction I have seen, not meaning to worry you lot, but BE WARNED !!

I WANNA GO TO SLEEP

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/04/2008 09:17

BUY THE TELEGRAPH ON APRIL 19TH

all good here, at work

dippy doesn't need to shut herself in the Sauna, Sofa Boy is at work from Wednesday onwards while you're at Centre Parcs, I'm sure I can get you an excape if you need it (and I'm fully intending to steal you for the day anyway!)

Hi Pinions

Izzy had that injection on Monday. She did stir in the night but I gave her some neurofen and she settled back to sleep almost immediately. Thankfully she didn't want to party. Sorry you've had such a bad night.

Happy Birthday to Hensdens DS and Twinkle's Evelyn

Hope all the poorly people are feeling better today.

Oooggs - Well done for getting to nursery by 7.30am. I am still in my pyjames!

So busy atm finding it hard to keep up. Thinking of you all though. xx

Pinions · 10/04/2008 09:21

YES. SO.

Lack of sleep.

Feel totally fcked. Buggered.

NOT.

GOOD.

NorthernLurker · 10/04/2008 09:50

Hi all

I've had some shocking and sad news today. Yesterday we heard that one of the lovely classroom assistants at school had a heart attack over the hols. She was recovering in hospital and would be off work for a while. Today I heard that she died last night She was such a lovely woman and all the kids are going to be so upset.

I've got lots of housework and filing to do today plus I need to take B to get weighed and i don't feel like any of it!

AngeG · 10/04/2008 09:58

Oh NL that's terrible news Her poor family.

Let us know how much B weighs if you go!

Off to have a shower now xx

Pinions · 10/04/2008 10:30

Sorry to hear the sad news NL. The thread seems to be filled with such sad news.

Have just rang the doctors re T as he had such a strong reaction to his injection and they are calling back.

Are people going to go with the MMR or not ?? Or have we not got that far, haven't got a clue when it is supposed to be?

NorthernLurker · 10/04/2008 10:37

MMR is from 13 mths. B will defiantely be having it then like her sisters. Personally I don't think there is any reason not to use it - and three very good reasons why you would!

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2008 10:39

MMR is about 14 / 15m, I think and yes, P will be having it. No mention of this meningitis jab here Think S had it, but K didn't

Confused.

Oh well.

I am feeling like I am in LaLa Land atm, think I must be coming down with something, not nice Eyes are hurting, but much clearer since I got the drops, which is good I just need a break ......

Sorry poor T had such an extreme reaction to the jab, Pinions - weird! xx

Oh NL what sad, sad news, praying for your TA's family at friends Tragic

Oooooooh, Pillock - t'will be so fab to seey ou while we are at Canter Parcs Looking forward to meeting SofaBoy too!

NorthernLurker · 10/04/2008 10:40

hope your eyes continue to get better dippy. Are the little ones at nursery today? Could you have a nap? (don't fall about laughing)
