I must go and get B weighed etc this week - I'll let you know the result I just can't believe it's nearly a year. It really does shoot by.

How's it going Dippy?

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:17

see this thread SOL

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:17

Hello by the way

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:18

Ah I see - hurty knee - that one's a bugger!

And has reminded me - when we used to ask dd1 if she needed a poo - she would sit on the loo for a bit and then announce 'the poo has gone sleep in my leg'

She would kill me if she knew I'd just put that little anecdote on the web!

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:19

Hope DD settles for you Dippy.

POTC - at you and Justin.

SOL - Hope B ok.

Can't remember anything else. Off to bed in a sec. Night all xx

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:20

Hi Ange!

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:20

at DD1 NL.

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:21

Thanks for missing me NL

oooggs · 01/04/2008 22:22

got to go to bed

but before I go........... will you now stop giving medised to your under twos?

or

will you still give it and when you need to buy more say it is for your 5 year old?

will check this in the morning - night x

OP posts:
AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:23

Night oooggs. Neither of mine will take medised for some reason

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:24

Night Oooggs - and yes I will still give B medised if I think she medically needs it. We are very medication aware in this house as fil is a pharmacist - I'm really not going to accidentally overdose her!

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:25

Ange - do you know what weight Izzy is now? I think she and B were not too dissimilar at one point weren't they? Will be interested to see what the current state of play is?

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:29

NL - Haven't had her weighed since 26th Feb, she was 16lbs then having not put on any weight for 6 weeks. I'm pretty sure [fingers tightly crossed] she has gained (have been weighing her on bathroom scales very unscientifically) in fact I may have her weighed properly tomorrow. I have the HV coming back at the end of April to check weight gain!!

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:33

I'm sure she will have Ange. B was 17lb in January - and although she's definately taller I don't think she feels a lot heavier so I'll have to see.

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:34

Will report back weight gain tomorrow!

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:37

Ok - don't stress about it though will you? Izzy is so lovely

Right - better go and scare myself with the rest of Morse - night all!

AngeG · 01/04/2008 22:40

Me, stress, never

Enjoy Morse. Night xx

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 23:05

Settled. Feeling sick and exhausted so off to bed. night. xx

Ooooh, just had random remembering Bramshott - you still got that "Bucket Mug" I made for you!!!?

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 23:13

Dippy - just got you text - am still up if you want to call

Eddas · 02/04/2008 07:55

Morning!

CD, hope dd settled in the end. My dd tells all sorts of fibs about things hurting. SHe often has a headache, in her knee or foot

NL, lol at dd's poo sleeping in her knee I'm often amazed at what a child comes out with. They are very clever IMO

Ange, i don't think POTC was talking about Justin

All the talk about weights makes me because ds has only been weighed about 3 times and two of those were within two weeks of birth ought to see how he's doing really. Poor NPFB

Sexonlegs · 02/04/2008 08:09

Morning all.

Ange, thanks v much for the link. I'll have a read later.
I have to say, I will be saying it is for B. I think I am smart enough not to overdose

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Maddy McCann situation??

Dippy, how are you feeling today?

Leaky, meant to say how appalled I was by your boss. Can't believe you weren't given a drink.

NL, I am going to try and get K weighed today as she hasn't been weighed since she was 40 weeks - whenever that was!

Had a rough night. K woke at 1.30. Gave her some nurofen as she was crying with what seemed to be pain (teeth????). Put her back down and she just screamed. Did the cc with her, eben though I was worried she would wake up B, and finally after 20 mins she fell asleep.

Not happy!

B seems brighter so I am taking her to school.

Beterre get going. xx

StealthPolarBear · 02/04/2008 08:27

Morning everyone
uurgh I feel dreadful
I was a bit about the cough medicine stuff as well- they've taken cough medicine off the shelves because people accidentally give too much?? Well sort out the instructions, or if people really just are that thick then surely all medicines need to be removed?
I had just bought the Boots cough medicine, haven't actually given him any yet.
I suppose the argument might be that it doesn't really do anything...

geordieminx · 02/04/2008 08:32

OMG Was just catching up on the thread and reading the info on calpol...realised C was in the kitchen and being remarkably quiet....went to investigate..... he has opened the fridge, dragged out a 4 pint carton of milk, somehow managed to get the top off and empty it all over himself and the kitchen floor.... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

StealthPolarBear · 02/04/2008 08:36

GM - look on it as proof of the development of his gross and fine motor skills

cazboldy · 02/04/2008 08:36

Happy Birthday Milo

PuppyMonkey - Your dd was born on the same day as Molly

I am about to confess something.....I have never used medised. When James was a toddler he was friendly with a little boy, and his Mum was rather odd it has to be said......she was about 40 with 4 children, and thought she knew everything, and there was me 16 with my baby....... anyway she routinely used to give it to her children to make them sleep, and this horrified me!
Anyway, I have always avoided using it, bit daft really I suppose, but could never bring myself to buy it iykwim......

Harry has been in tears this morning as my brother's best jersey cow calved in the night, but it was a bull calf, and he wanted a heifer so he could lead it at the Norfolk show.........

Molly and Charlie are still asleep, but after dh has been home for breakfast, we will go out for a walk/ride with dd on the pony...
