watching Morse may have been an error - it's a really scary one and B and I are here alone! Front door locked - check! Back door locked - check!

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 21:54

My delightful 3some are ..... erm .... delightful ..... hard work .... stubborn ..... winding each other up .... whinging.... screaming .... shouting ..... tantruming ..... and generally aboslutely .... erm ..... delightful

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 21:58

Just think Dippy and Oooggs - between us we have the same number of children that Queen Victoria produced all by herself. In fact - it was worse for her 'cos she had 9 labours and we've only notched up 8 (counting the twins as one labour Oooggs - sorry )

Of course - she did have the entire British Empire at her diposal which may have cushioned the blow a bit........

Anyone seen Ange - she hasn't been on for a few days has she?

runnyhabbit · 01/04/2008 22:01

and thanks for the work advice for dh.

he's going to wait until he gets his payslip, then take it from there.

hello newbies

oooggs · 01/04/2008 22:03

it was 'only' one labour NL and very easy at that it was the pregnancy and the 1st year (&3days) which have been difficult

how about this cube looks loads of fun

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 22:06

Help Me!!!!* DD1 woke up screaming .... done massive wee in bed .... have changed bedding and Pjs ... took her to loo again and popped her back in bed .... now screaming saying she has "hurty feet"

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:06

Oooggs - anything where you have to do the birth bit twice deserves extra points in my book Were they a vaginal delivery then or c section?

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 22:08

Do I just ignore her or do I go back in there??

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:08

Oh Dippy - have you tried the power of Calpol - but don't tell her it's calpol - say it's some special stuff that Daddy (as he is absent his presence has a special aura ) got from the doctor for exactly this hurty feet problem!

oooggs · 01/04/2008 22:08

no c section here young lady - straight out the way they went it induced & epidural (was told to have epi just incase of an emergency) 6lb14 & 7lb14, 19 mins apart

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:09

I would go back in, treat, reassure and calm - and then ignore any further outbursts!

CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 22:09

Calpol ceased to cut when she turned 3.

oooggs · 01/04/2008 22:09

ds1 calls it tadpol!!!!

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 22:09

Right ....I'm going in .......

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:11

Oooggs - - what a woman! 19 mins apart - that must have been quite a busy time! There was a lady at Bumps and Babes who is having twins - last time I saw her she looked like she was going to explode. Not that I said that of course Great birth weights you had - was ds the heavier?

NorthernLurker · 01/04/2008 22:12

Dippy - that's the point - it's NOT calpol - it's errrrrrmmmmmmmmm Dopeemupalol!

oooggs · 01/04/2008 22:14

yes ds2 was the second born and the heavier. I had them weighed this morning and dd was 20lb 14oz & ds2 25lb 14oz at 1yr and 3 days.

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 01/04/2008 22:14

"Hurty feet" had metamorphosised 9or migrated!!? ) into "Hurty Knee" so I gave her a kiss and a cuddle and when "mmmm" a lot and i think (hope) she's settle.

I so do not need this right now.

Sexonlegs · 01/04/2008 22:15

Oh no Dippy. Hope she is ok.

Meant to say, I went to Asda pharmacy this evening and am shocked to see they don't sell medised (amongst other medicines) for under 2's anymore. What's that all about?

Oh God, B just woken up crying - dh dealing. I see tomorrow as a day with the 2 of them - what joy. Sorry, feeling a tad fed up this evening. Going to bed as am knackered.

Night loves. x
