Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
cazboldy · 03/04/2008 21:50

we have 2!

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 21:51

and am looking for a 3rd - a cheap one!

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 21:52

a small one or a big one? Do you have your own land? Do you rent a field? Do all your kids ride? Do they have lessons or do you teach them?

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 21:54

middle sized

keep them on the farm where dh works

yep they all ride - well Molly sits and grins! (and so did Joe!)

I taught/teach them

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 21:55

so about 13hh?

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 21:56

I know where you can get a cheap rabbit but a horse may be pushing it.

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 21:58

lol we have a rabbit thank you very much

about 12 - 13 hands yes!

trouble is I do have one of that size, but he is only 3 and not ready to break in yet, and dd is already starting to look a bit big on the shetland

leakyR · 03/04/2008 21:59

Don't think I'll actually be sprogging in 2008 but would be nice to be pg by the end of the year. Then I could stay home with dh and George instead of stressing out with my keraazy family at Christmas.

Been reading through some thread from this time last year. Cheered me up.

Anyone remember what KNUF meant? Made me snort with laughter when I rememebered.

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 21:59

where has everyone else gone?

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 21:59

Tell her its good for polo practise!

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:00

go on tell us

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 22:00

Hello Leaky!

Haven't a clue what that means! I missed about 6 months from March last year

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 22:01

do you ride octo?

CaptainDippy · 03/04/2008 22:01

LOL

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:02

Only my stallion husband these days. Used to when younger about 10-15 years old. The boys are keen to have lessons but £20/week for both of them is simply not affordable!

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 22:03

PMSL

i know..... hence why i teach them - it costs less to keep a pony than have lessons!

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:04

And I charge him too!

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 22:05

do you really?

I am eternally grateful for what I get

If he had to pay I wouldn't get any!!!

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:09

Charging is much easier or bargaining is okay but requires much more eloquency

e.g.

DH:Do you fancy a bit of rumpy pumpy?
OCTO: Can I get those nice red shoes?
DH: hmm, how much are they?
OCTO: £65 but they are shiny
DH: okay but only if you wear them to bed
OCTO: done

cazboldy · 03/04/2008 22:09

am off now....... he wants me!

leakyR · 03/04/2008 22:09

Sorry got engrossed in the thread where I had given birth. You lot are lovely, what nice supportive messages.

Any way KNUF means "knitting needle up fanjo" as in "Ouch just had KNUF moment. Think it could be a sign of labour?"

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:10

ah yes - thats it!

leakyR · 03/04/2008 22:13

Having imparted that little nugget of knowledge to you all, I must go to bed.

The memory of KNUF moments is possibly taking the shine off my broodiness

Goodnight.

Octothechildherder · 03/04/2008 22:14

Leakys had EKNUF lol

hmmmm maybe should go to bed!

CaptainDippy · 03/04/2008 22:21

I used to ride. A lot. I really miss it now.
