just feeling urgh
didn't sleep well and we ate really late last night so stomach feels unsettled
also had broken sleep and bad dreams

cazboldy · 02/04/2008 08:44

oh you poor thing

how is T today? are you going to work today??or have I got that very wrong?

mamiguay · 02/04/2008 09:02

Sorry you had a rotten night SPB.. and SOL too..

GMM - at C although I know you probably weren't very about it..

N almost fell down the stairs yesterday stupid mummy. We have a steep staircase down to the front door (1st floor flat) and I had to take the rubbish out so shut and locked the door to just nip down and leave it outside the front. Well obviously I hadn't locked the door properly (and it doesn't stay shut if not locked iyswim), well I was dashing anyway and as I reached the top I heard a WAAAAAAAH! and he'd fallen out the door onto the top landing. Luckily it's a small step and he was trapped so couldn't fall further but very with myself.

What is it with our babies and stairs lately? Or should it be, what is with US and stairs lately?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILO

Poor Harry, Caz.. so cute that he wanted to lead the heifer

Medised, I gave it to N a couple of times when he was smaller when he couldn't sleep for a rotten cold but hated the hangover it seemed to give him and we haven't given it since. I might if he was really bunged up, unable to breathe or sleep etc but otherwise no.

StealthPolarBear · 02/04/2008 09:27

He seems a bit better (only a tiny bit of D&V) but am taking him to the docs anyway as this has been going on since the weekend.
I am off all week now, such a relief!
mamiguay what a shock for you! Glad N is OK, hope you are too!

NorthernLurker · 02/04/2008 09:32

Hi all

SPB and SOL - have a {{{hug}}} for your rotten nights. I don't think Dippy is very well either

Happy Birthday Milo

Hi Eddas - don't worry - B had hardly been weighed either! Do want to get it done before I go back to work that's all.

Mamiguay and GMM - I think the babies have reached an accident-age! Gmm - is it carpet or a wipeable floor. I'm afraid milk on carpet will be pretty disastrous!

I've got a meeting at work in an hour. To discuss my terrible interview - but I'll need to sort out my hours as well. Positive vibes and prayers please - I'm nervous!

oooggs · 02/04/2008 09:47

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILO

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2008 09:50

Praying NL, hope it goes ok sweetie. xx

I have been D&Ving all night Feeling a bit better, but still rough, horid I just wanted to cry when DD1 came into my room this morning.

Bramshott · 02/04/2008 09:52

Happy Birthday Milo!

NL - good luck with work. I am expecting a call about my potential new job today (nervous!).

Dippy - yes, I still have the lovely bucket mug you made me - it comes out in afternoons requiring more tea than comes in a normal mug (that'll be most of them then!). Have you still got my tea-poem?

Caz - any news about the school appeal.

SPB - glad T is a bit better.

My childminder got O weighed yesterday and she was 9.04kg (19lb something) so she went into her big car seat yesterday! I can't decide if she looks really grown up, or really little in such a big seat!

I bought a new bottle of Medised last week, after realising that the bottle I'd been spooning into O was best before Aug 06 . I think I'll still give it to her if she needs it - i.e. snuffly nose in the night stopping her sleeping. But the last bottle had clearly lasted us 5 years or so, so I clearly don't use it very often! I'm a bit [hmmm] about them being withdrawn with no reason - a bit like the new advice not to drink at all in pregnancy, again, for no real reason.

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2008 09:52

Happy Birthday Milo!!

Sorry I forgot ... too busy being self-absorbed.

Bramshott · 02/04/2008 09:54

Oh Dippy, you poor love. Not what you need when DH is away. Are the big girls at nursery this morning?

AngeG · 02/04/2008 09:56

Thank you Eddas. I soooo knew it wasn't Justin. Don't know why I typed it. I'm really sorry POTC

Off to catch up more now!

StealthPolarBear · 02/04/2008 10:05

oh Dippy Hope you're feeling much better soon

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2008 10:11

I am also a virgin Medised-Giver, Caz I grew up on a farm too and your lifestyle is very bittersweet for me - I miss it!!

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2008 10:12

Yes, big girls are at Pre-School and P is sleeping. I'm working ; but will try and have a wee rest soon

Sexonlegs · 02/04/2008 10:19

Oh Dippy, you poor thing. Just what you need - NOT! Hope you feel better soon.

SPB, hope you get some rest and feel better soon.

Happy Birthday Milo!! Have a lovely day

Bramshott, pmsl at the out of date medised! As bad as my parents! Their entire cupboards seem to house out of date stuff!!

Hi everyone else - sorry brain is not working. I am so not used to being awake in the middle of the night and I feel dreadful today.

Poor K is sat here trying to produce - going bright red bless her. Have realised baby clinic isn't on until next week when I can't make it, so may have to try the home scales. I have no idea how much K weighs!

StealthPolarBear · 02/04/2008 10:21

Am feeling much better already and on the toast, thanks
Lol at K, T has a specific face he always pulls - it's quite handy as we recognise it but it's not obvious - handy for discreet nappy change nudges to DH.
Off to docs in a min

oooggs · 02/04/2008 10:32

I have just bagged up the 0-3 & 3-6 mths clothes and put in the cellar (have been sat in their waredrobe for a while)

whats next - to be contructive and keep my mind busy?

OP posts:

In eddas news, I have finally got dh to remember to take my flyers into work so fingers crossed i get some self employed work. If I can go fulyl self employed by January then it will solve my childcare issues. I'm gonna discuss my hours with my boss on monday in my annual review. Wonder if i'l get a huge payrise who can see the pigs flying?
