good point caz.
Tried to type about 3 different things, everything seemed to come out the wrong way. So instead of sticking my foot in my mouth I thought I just wouldn't post them. Hope you are OK xx

Sexonlegs · 19/03/2008 16:36

Oh NL, how awful. I don't know what to suggest. I am really sorry. Enormous hugs.

Easter Egg Hunt was a success. Fortunately there were enough eggs for everyone, so no tears before bed time!

Right, need to sort tea etc, so will be back on after the girlies are tucked up in bed.

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 16:37

Oh yes they said they knew it would be difficult for me Think I may be cried out now and dd2 is home so i have to pull self together. Just been to the shop and bought a large box of Roses and a chocolate cake

StealthPolarBear · 19/03/2008 16:38

hedgehog shaped?

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 16:46

It's not anything shaped now - I've made a big hole in it!

StealthPolarBear · 19/03/2008 16:47

polo shaped then

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 16:48

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 16:54

Oh go on then

Pesha · 19/03/2008 18:14

Dr says I have 'true Flu' and should expect to have fever and keep feeling crap for at least another week. Yay

Prob wont be on much. 'See' you all again soon.

mammyjo · 19/03/2008 18:22

Take care pesha xxx

CaptainDippy · 19/03/2008 18:24

{{{{{{{{{{NL}}}}}}}}}}} Will call you later, ok!!? xxxx

cazboldy · 19/03/2008 18:28

oh dear pesha - look after yourself x

oooggs · 19/03/2008 18:39

take care pesha

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 18:56

Dippy - that would be nice thanks

Pesha - that sounds horrible! Have you got some help with the los?

I will read the rest of the thread later - just rushing round trying to get things straight for the surveyor (aaaargh) tomorrow.

Eddas · 19/03/2008 20:00

oh pesha that doesn't sound much fun.

NL, i'd be might p@~;ed off too on your behalf. Hope you find a new job quickly

Car had it's MOT today and passed so I don't have to beat my sister with a stick

The lovely chairlady from preschool gave me a bottle of wine today for my help bless her

I feel really odd today. Mostly i'm a miserable old wotsit but today I feel better about everything like a doors opening up or something not sure how to describe it but it feels oddly nice

I really fancy some chocolate but the only thing we have in the cupboard is dd's easter egg, not sure I can eat it really

Sexonlegs · 19/03/2008 20:18

Evening all.

Pesha, you poor thing. Hope you start to feel better soon. x

NL, how are you feeling about things now?

Eddas, glad to hear you sounding so buoyant (sp?)

How is everyone else???

All ok here, apart from the fact that while I was hanging out washing upstairs earlier, B fell somehow and hit her head on the coffee table. Quite a bump on her eyebrow poor love. More of a shock I think. She seems ok - I put a cold compress on and she was quite herself by bedtime. So, keep your fingers crossed!

elkiedee · 19/03/2008 20:21

POTC, ouch at the broken nose. Hope it heals up quickly.

NL, that sounds really hard. Do you think that he'll feel the need to tell you how to do your job when you get back to it? Hugs to you.

Pesha, sorry to hear you have flu, hope your dp is able to help you a bit.

oooggs, that sounds upsetting re the nursery. I guess at least I didn't do it that way at the CM. We'd visited twice and she'd held and played with D before the first time I left him, and then I left him two or 3 times for a few hours each time. He hasn't even cried since the first few mornings though he jumps out of Rahma's arms when dp or I arrive.

Eddas, glad to hear life's looking up for you. Don't eat dd's easter egg, but get yourself one of your own tomorrow?

elkiedee · 19/03/2008 20:24

Something outrageous happened here. DP's mum and aunt Daphne sent an Easter card for Danny - no money or anything - but only an empty envelope with a stamp got put through the door. FFS, who'd steal a child's card? And if you stole it, why put the envelope back in the mail or whatever? Very weird.

Sexonlegs · 19/03/2008 20:27

Do you think your aunt forgot to put the card in??? Just a thought...

Sexonlegs · 19/03/2008 21:07

Right, going to bed. Absolutely exhausted.
Night loves. x

elkiedee · 19/03/2008 21:24

Apparently she put in some photos she found of dp as a baby, and how like D he looked then... I can't believe the things that people will steal. I would have minded much less if they'd taken a bit of cash, it's only money.

Goodnight SOL.

NorthernLurker · 19/03/2008 21:38

Elkie - that's awful! And yes I am quite certain he will feel the need to tell me how to do things.
SOL - I'm in a really grumpy modd tbh - and I'm eating too much chocolate! Poor little B - hope she's ok for you.

StealthPolarBear · 20/03/2008 08:42

morning everyone
elkie hope she has copies of the pictures. Very strange, as you say, if he's going to put the envelope back in the post why not just put everything back in it?
Eddas, your strange mood sounds positive
SOL, poor B, how is she today?
Nl hope you're feeling better this morning and comnig up with a plan of action!
New carpets today, I am insanely excited! As is T, as soon as the stairgates are up he will be allowed to crawl again
