Searching for new baby/toddler recipes.

Tried the butternut squash/red lentils/onions conconction that IDOC mentioned and T just luuuuurves it .Threw in a bit of cayenne/turmeric/paprika too, the boy seems to have a spicy edge.

Anyway the search for new recipes continue. Beautifully glorious day here .

the man is coming to fix my dishwasher soon

I can't cope without it. Yesterday I was washing up the lunch things and Molly came and climbed up my leg, let go, and fell and banged her head on the corner of the cupboard, so is now sporting a big bruise and a graze
Am I really lazy, as I have piled loads of stuff in the sink, waiting for it to be fixed? Knowing my luck, he won't be able to and I'll have a sink full of dishes with dried up egg and cereal on to wash up

It is exciting that they are starting to walk, but I feel a bit sad too.......my last little baby is growing up too fast

My Mum is in Malaysia atm elkie.......she has been gone nearly 3 weeks now, and tbh I am starting to miss her a bit. The first couple of weeks were a bit of a relief she still treats me like I am about 6, and is always saying" you can't possibly manage everything on your own!"

There is a girl who is one of the mum's at school, who is a year younger than me, and just pg with her SEVENTH baby I asked her yesterday - it is pretty obvious, and the poor thing burst into tears, and said was she starting to show already, as she is terrified of telling her mum! he was awake on and off all night so eventually I went to bed and sat him next to me playing with his toys and his juice cup. Next thing I know there's pain shooting through my face. Went to A&E (Skott came to watch boys), it's broken.

When I got home I spotted that a picture that was on the wall above my bed is now on the floor. Looks like he knocked it off the wall (a 2ftx2ft glass clip frame) and it hit my nose on the way down. OUCH!
