Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
cazboldy · 22/03/2008 21:55

and it really isn't something you can forgive or get over?

cazboldy · 22/03/2008 21:55

sorry thats none of my buisness

Eddas · 22/03/2008 21:55

oh pesha, i hate lying maybe it's coz i'm so crap at it myself It must've been a big one

Pesha · 22/03/2008 22:03

Well he's done alot of lying in the past. For the first year and a half of our relationship I was the other woman without even kmowing it. We've spent hours talking and fighting and crying and opening our hearts and working through things. The one condition of us trying again was no more lying. If I hadnt already known the truth he never would have told me, he never did until I actually knew. Not prepared to give him yet another chance, this was his last one.

DloeufyDoo · 22/03/2008 22:15

Oh Pesha.Wanted to say Happy Easter and 1st Birthday to all the babies.I am so sorry taht you have split up.You must be feeling totally knackered.
Happy Easter and 1st Birthdays to all.

elkiedee · 22/03/2008 22:22

Happy birthday NL!

elkiedee · 22/03/2008 22:23

Sorry to hear your news Pesha

elkiedee · 22/03/2008 22:25

We're not doing very well at getting D settled tonight, or at dealing with it together, another massive row. D's still awake, and the only reason I'm on the computer at this moment is because I can't seem to be in the same room as (d?)p at the moment without being shouted and snapped at.

CaptainDippy · 22/03/2008 22:48

Goodness Pesha, how completely shitty. Lying My BF hasj ust split up with her H for exactly that reason and it makes me soooo [angry and Perhaps you are well rid!!? {{{{hugs}}}}

Pesha · 22/03/2008 22:56

Thank you all

I think I might be Dippy but its gonna take some adjusting. I think the boys are gonna be guitted not to have daddy around so much, specially Nathan who worships him. Although we have agreed for now he will come round Weds, Fridays and every other week he will take them off on the friday for the weekend, the other weekend he will come round on the sunday so they'll still see alot of him. Maia on the other hand I think will find it really hard, shes incredibly insecure already and this will knock her even more. She's old enough that the idea of it will affect her as much as the practicality of him just not being here so much iyswim? Poor girl has been through so much in her short life

Maveta · 23/03/2008 07:17

Oh Pesha I am sorry to hear that. I think you're being very strong to stick to your guns, especially given the basis for why he was on one more chance. That's a pretty big lie! I'm sorry you are going through this. Hopefully once Maia sees that he is still going to be her daddy (not like your exp who comes and goes) and see her and love her she will adjust to the change just fine.

Octothechildherder · 23/03/2008 07:45

Sexonlegs · 23/03/2008 08:29

Morning all.

Happy Easter!!!!

Pesha, I am so sorry to hear your news. Please look after yourself and your lovely children. xx

Elkie, did you get D settled? Are you doing cc? Hope you and d?p are ok today.

Oooggs, hope you find something suitable for E.

Eddas, how were the dvd's? Sorry I abandoned you. Dh and I decided to talk, as it was obvious that I was in a shitty mood with him.
I think the issue is me feeling "put upon" and resentment building up. We talked a while ago about taking time out, ie me one Saturday or Sunday, just going off for the day, and then coming home with a clear head and the ability to appreciate what I have got. And then dh taking time out too, if he feels he needs it.

We also talked about doing stuff together (snigger!), like playing badminton once a week or something.

So, a kind of plan.

What is everyone up to?

We are off to my parents and my cousin, her dh and their 3 year old twins will be there, and another aunt and uncle who have yet to meet K! I am really looking forward to it.

Right, arse needs to be hauled in to action. Hope everyone has a lovely day. Thinking of you all. See you later. xx

Eddas · 23/03/2008 09:00

morning

glad you had a talk with dh sol but also that you abandoned me

I watched Legally Blonde last night and it was great, a nice bit of lighthearted girliness. Wish I had time and money for the perfectly manicured hands and matching outfits with lovely shoes

It is snowing here and not showing any signs of slowing down there's that dull grey sky so it could be here for a while.

Not sure what we're doing today. DH is still in bed but i'll probably let dd loose anytime she hasn't had any easter eggs yet. TBH it's all a bit silly when we're not religious. The meanings of these things have got lost and I feel rather about giving eggs at all. So much so that I completely forgot to get nephew(x2) and neice and egg oopps

Does anyone know if any shops are open today? I'm thinking woolies or similar I know Tesco etc are closed. I may pop into town and emergency egg buy

Maveta · 23/03/2008 09:01

hello, hello! octo you have reminded me I haven't broken into my easter egg yet

oooggs - i think it is fairly obvious that twas me being the complete thicko re. your message so apologies most definitely NOT required

Eddas · 23/03/2008 09:04

birthday list since they're here already

elkiedee · 23/03/2008 09:06

Morning all

SOL, sounds like a plan, hope it works. And in the meantime that you have a great day with your family.

D finally went to sleep soon after I posted and slept until after 7 with only a couple of dummy losing squawks. And dp and I made up and spent some time cuddling (nothing else). I keep waking up in the morning feeling sad and sorry for myself and needing a lot of comforting.

Eddas · 23/03/2008 09:08

I hope no-one minds but I thought i'd edit the list for people that haven't posted in a while. I am really sorry if I miss you off tis not intentional

Maveta · 23/03/2008 09:13

oh elkie I'm sorry to hear that, how are you feeling now?

I thought I'd get a dummy on the off chance it would help N settle for his naps but he's completely forgotten what to do with it, just kind of bites/tugs it and then throws it away am sure it's for the best. In fact it's been a couple of months since he's even had a bottle and when dh and I went out early the other night I left my mum a bottle just in case. She said she offered it to him and he didn't have a clue what to do with it! lol! I didn't even think he would have forgotten. Said in the end she gave him some milk in a cup. lol

Speaking of.. am definitely cutting out night feeds tonight. Not sure whether to do it slowly or just go cold turkey. Seems I have thrush again (for the first time since he was a couple of months old) and I'm over it. I'm scared!

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2008 10:23

So so sorry pesha xxxxxxxxxxx Do you have anyone in RL to help and look after you?
Hope you are at least over your flu
elkie, what do you think is causing your morning blues? You always seem to be doing loads, which would stress me, but I know you've said in the past that you prefer it that way.
Maveta, sorry you're still struggling. We're in the same boat, T gave up his dummy at about 7 months, I tried it again when he was unsettled a few weeks later and he was disgusted. He also hasn't had a bottle regularly for months, so when I go back to work hoping just to give him a cup - it's only cows' milk - not bothered about wastage
Feeling really this morning as everyone seems to be having a crap time.

oooggs · 23/03/2008 10:37

its raining really hard here and dh has gone running [idiot]

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2008 10:48

DH claims to like running in the rain

CaptainDippy · 23/03/2008 10:57

It's snowing!!!!!!!

.... and P is still asleep Should I be worried!!?
