Pesha, we lived in Exmouth for years, and during the school holidays I worked at Express Dairy in Exeter. I remember these bags with various depot names on, incl Wincanton!

Never been there though.

StealthPolarBear · 11/03/2008 21:55

Has no-one missed me???? I have had an enforced MN break as I broke the laptop!
Pesha - no if I leave it until I feed him then he's already wiped it all over me - bleurgh

bugger forgotten everything else after two pints (and a packet of crisps) at local with my friend

dts have a taster session at nursery tomorrow and ds1 has spent most of the day telling anyone who would listen that daddy is in court

oooggs · 11/03/2008 21:59

daddy on jury service

oooggs · 11/03/2008 21:59

sol - I went to school in Exmouth and lived in Lympstone!!!

AngeG · 11/03/2008 22:00

SPB - Izzy didn't like having her nose wiped. I just perservered(sp) anyway and she doesn't seem so bothered by it now. I use baby wipes more than tissues, I find they dont make her nose so sore.

Hope you're ok Eddas. I have sent a hug on your other thread

AngeG · 11/03/2008 22:01

StealthPolarBear · 11/03/2008 22:02

oooggs, I once told people at school that the police had thought my dad was the yorkshire ripper! As you can imagine, that;s not qiute how it was !

oooggs · 11/03/2008 22:14

past - must be the Guiness

NorthernLurker · 11/03/2008 22:34

hello again

SPB - Good thought but I know they take up references before interview in our department - and my referees both work in the same department as self and my line managers - in the office next door to be exact. So I don't think it's that. Ho Hum

I had the biggest plate of spagetti bologonase you have seen for tea. I know you'll all be wracked with envy but I cannot keep the magnificence of it to myself!

It's horribly windy here - the walk to school tomorrow is going to be hell interesting.

NorthernLurker · 11/03/2008 22:37

you have ever seen that should be

Eddas · 11/03/2008 22:43

you lot make me laugh

one too many eh oooggs

I know i'm meant to be going to bed but my mind is swilling so left dh to get his beauty sleep whilst I watch some rubbish telly and chat a bit more

StealthPolarBear · 11/03/2008 22:43

True NL but if it's between you and someone else they may be waiting for theirs before a decision??
What have they got to gain in keeping you dangling? I always want to get the "no"s out of the way as soon as I can
at sp bol
Right - good night!!

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 11/03/2008 22:51

Oh SPB - that's sweet of you but I don't think that's the case somehow. Tbh - I think I'm going to have to go back for as short a time as possible and look and see what else is out there. I just don't feel valued right now

elkiedee · 11/03/2008 22:57

PMSL at SPB - and I was at school in Leeds when Peter Sutcliffe did his last killing, and a few months later I think he attempted to kill someone else very close to our house and on my route to school. I know a guy now who was interviewed by the police about it - he was a journalist working lots of night shifts and driving around the Pennines at the time, and he's since become an author of detective stories so this is a story he likes to tell.

elkiedee · 11/03/2008 22:58

NL, how can your work not value you and realise what a treasure you are? I don't understand!

NorthernLurker · 11/03/2008 23:06

well Elkie - I may seem lovely over the internet but in fact I am a wicked witch who fills my office with smelly cheese and farts in front of patients

Eddas · 12/03/2008 07:25
