do you not watch friends? love that programme they're friends but want to be more but can't do more than kissing without something going wrong, eg he touched her leg and she kept slapping it away

We sit on the sofa, I'm happy to sit cuddled up to him, but I don't have any desire to pounce on him

We go out, I like him having his arm round me, I like flirting with him, play fighting etc, but I don't want to kiss him

Meant to say hi Dooby earlier on - got distracted!

Dreading these winds that are due. We had a tree come down last week and it wasn't that windy. Dh is supposed to be flying to Edinburgh tomorrow - don't envy him that!

Had some bad news today - a friend (who I speak to at toddlers but not round each others houses type of friend) went for a routine midwife check at 39 weeks.

They couldn't find a heartbeat and she delivered her dead daughter on her due date 1st March - funeral on wednesday

Oooggs - I am posh - its not my nanny - its a friends - she is just letting me share her when I need to! I don't think I would earn anything if I had my own - also she doesn't come to my house - Ernie goes to my friends house. Have been down your way this weekend - went to Whitesands today and got hailed on or 'hazelstoned' as ds1 said

oooggs - what awful news - it's every mothers nightmare isn't it (one of them anyway) To get so close Praying for your friend and family

I think the end of mat leave etc does cause people to post less - especially if you don't have time to catch up and respond. Mine doesn't end for a few more weeks so I'll keep on posting!

Morning! Tried to come on last night but got caught up reading that In The News thread about Julia whatsit who gave up her baby and then lost the adsl connection. which is still down this morning so no idea what's happened there I'm at work now in case you're all marvelling at my ability to post without adsl

Oh Oooggs I just read your post, I am so sorry and so so to hear about your friend. how heartbreakingly awful.

For me, the more recent lack of posting is just because work is getting a weeee bit busier and I've been reading a book/watching ANTM at night which cuts down internet time. Must try harder..

Oooggs - yes I did sell my wonderoos, well 5 out of 7 which I was happy with.. you aren't thinking of coverting are you??!

SPB - re. the house.. we are still hoping to move back one day but we've always wanted to buy a house here first so it'll be good that we have to get on with it. Although we've got 2 years so we're not in a rush, just going to start looking into it.. it seems like such a long and boring process by everyone else's experiences and I can't say I'm overly excited about it, although I know it will be a great thing when it happens.. iykwim..
