the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

mrm - I will comeas soon as you are ready to show it all off then!

Are we going to do anything in the holidays? Anyone?

Frizbe - I think those babybel things are like crayon. They will probably go through unchanged.

mustrunmore · 09/03/2008 21:04

Is that when you ate 6 mars bars in a go Jas?!

You can come anytime; lets face it, if you wait, it'll be forver! We've got all the units in now, and some makeshift worktop as we couldnt salvage enough of the stuff we got with the units. so there's part beech. part white, part marbly! Until we can get some. We also need kickboards, a few open shelves building in gaps, and things like the microwave legs puting back on the wall. Oh, and I still have no dresser so the food is all living in the bath

mustrunmore · 09/03/2008 21:07

And the walls are only half painted, and we need new floor covering

DontDreamItBeIt · 09/03/2008 23:01

Next week? Tues or Thursday the dds are at clubs til 4 so I can get lost on the way home and not panic....

DontDreamItBeIt · 09/03/2008 23:01

And yes it was the mars bar time. In the car park outside the shop

mustrunmore · 10/03/2008 07:17

Either of thoe day6s fine at the mooment. Hope that oesnt imply you'll think we'll be finished by then!!

Am really really sivk today. Think bug. Began d&v at 5am, dh laeft for work 5.30am and isnt home till 1am tomorrow morniing. Think ds1 will be of fnursery, as I can get someone to drop him but not collect him.

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/03/2008 07:33

Yuk. I'll wait til Thursday then

Not that I'm not full of sympathy for you....I do hope you're better soon.

I'm mainy planning this week as his is the last week of clubs until afer the hols.

It is wet and windy here and I'm very glad I don't live by the sea.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 12:01

Damn this weather. Dh's flight has been cancelled (I presume due to it), so instead of going out early this afternoon, he suddenly switched to an earlier flight and went out whilst we were out this morning. Dd was expecting him here when we got back, but he was gone without saying goodbye to her .

Yuk for bug mrm - hope it goes quickly.

Frizbe · 10/03/2008 12:07

Hey you lot are getting blown away for a change, its ok up here seriously though I hope your all ok, how bad is it Flame?

I can't do anything in the hols, as we're keeping the 6 week term up here, so kids aren't off till mid April those who can afford to book hols have told me its great though, as the travel agents are charging normal prices, as they didn't realise!

Do any of you with boys need a raincoat (shower coat?) for a 2 year old, as dd1 has been using it till her latest growth spurt, its ss's old one, but still in good nick, its a red mothercare one, shout if you want it? dd2 not using it as got a lovely flowery one for her birthday!

Hope the kids that fell over are all ok.
Jas dd2 was with mum yesterday and I forgot to ask if the 3 poos she did were related to bits of red stuff in there will ring her and mention it tonight!

Frizbe · 10/03/2008 12:10

for dd CSWS, give her a hug from me, our two have missed their dad something chronic this weekend. They both insisted he help get them dressed, do teeth etc this am, mummy was not wanted! Dd2 sobbed her heart out on way into nursery and said stay daddy, stay daddy

MRM forgot to post, yay for kitchen at least being underway and {{{{hugs}}} cause those and bathrooms are the worst to have to deal with when they're being done.

damewashalot · 10/03/2008 12:12

Hello, another bumped head here yesterday must have been the days for it, sobbed for a while but was distracted by a pot of grapes

My boys break up a week wednesday so we are going to have a long term after easter

DontDreamItBeIt · 10/03/2008 12:17

Everyone is different for the holidays, mine go back to school for 4 days after Easter, Then have 2 weeks off.

So far today I have failed to get a cheque in Euros (would cost almost as much as the bill, so I've asked db to pay as he has Euro bank accounts) and changed a flat tyre on the Jag.
I have succesfully booked a smear test, but that has been the high point so far

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 12:25

Did Phoenix get her smear sorted in the end too?

I think the schools here break up next Thurs, and go back on 14th April. That's certainly the day that dd's nursery school starts back, as it will be her first day .

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 12:29

Oh dear. Dh just texted to say he's missed the flight, as traffic was bad and had a 20 min queue in car park! He's trying to sort out another one now.

Frizbe · 10/03/2008 12:44

Oh no for your dh, hope that he gets a flight soon. Where's he off to this time?

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 12:52

Memphis again.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 16:34

He got a flight at the same time as his original cancelled one was meant to be (diff airline).

mustrunmore · 10/03/2008 17:55

Very impressed at changing flat tyre. But then I thuoght.. car drivers are supposed to do that, arent they?!

Have kept an aplle down and some lucozade.
Dh still fuming about aegument withhis bossa bout him talking a half day to come home.
Dh sad that he's missed 7 hrs double time tonight
Dresser came and looks great!

Friz, it took us 6 weeks to do the bathroom (snagging still not done) - the room that csws said she liked least
We have 70% of th kitchen done in 3 days!

Flamesparrow · 10/03/2008 18:06

I like your bathroom.

All I have taken in is d&v for MRM and fight issues for MrCSWS (Who I will email in a minute)

Hair looks pretty, just need to get my face to match before photos

Still not enough time or brain power to do a full update

nyeh

Flamesparrow · 10/03/2008 18:07

Oh and 1st April was the day I wanted you to come see me n Dsis

Phoenix · 10/03/2008 20:21

Yup smear all sorted and all clear Now to get myself to the docs about getting Clomid again to concieve no.2.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2008 20:33

Ooh - you're going to ttc again - how exciting .

Phoenix · 10/03/2008 20:46

Since ds was born we've never used any contraception knowing that i had probs with PCOS and i'm not pg so i've still obviously got probs so need to get to the docs again Just hope we don't have to go through a whole load of tests again.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 07:55

I don't know if it is different for different people, but the two peope I know wih pcos who've used clomid just asked and got it straight away after the first time. No more tests.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 07:59

I like your bathroom, too mrm. This week may not be good for travelling. When I changed he tyre yeserday the locking nut on the wheel was damaged so I'm one bolt short on the new one atm. Unless dp gets a chance to fix it (unlikely de to work and weather tbh) I won't be driving anywhere

It wold be alot easier if I could just scrap that car. I really hate it and have had nothing but trouble from it lately
