the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

I must be very posh then Friz cos at the mo we have 4 pushchairs . 2 Maclarens, the bruin 1 that will be going and an urban detour 3 wheeler that i can't bring myself to get rid of cos i love it and want to use it again if we have a dc2.

If we have a dc2 i might call it Phoenix.......not.

at dd1 Jas

At useless dh's.

Flamesparrow · 08/03/2008 19:05

So how many have you owned?? Wasn't it you that sold me the zapp?

Phoenix · 08/03/2008 19:08

We've had 6. Yes it was me

DontDreamItBeIt · 08/03/2008 19:08

I've still got the buggy I bought for ds when he was born, and the cr*p buggy specially to take on London transport that I bought for the London Eye meet.

mustrunmore · 08/03/2008 19:59

I've had 16 buggies.

Jas, you'll have to actaly visit, nver mind seeing pics!
Wont get the floor done for ages as we have no money for new covering, which is a shame. But the room looks miles better already just by putting more units up!
Dresser man said he was going to call tonight to rearrange elivery 9well, his wife did); no call so far!

Frizbe · 08/03/2008 20:59

Boo for dresser man.

at mutant reborns.....

16/6 buggies, are you both mad? or maybe I've just never been allowed to exercise my buggy fetish eh! I've loaned two, inherited dd1's old crap one from ss, and the 1st one I've brought has been the current mclaren, so that'll be the last too!

Woman popped by the shop with her cute newbie this afternoon, awwwww, she's called trinity two weeks ago she was bumped up and huffing and puffing just like we all were a few years ago

mustrunmore · 08/03/2008 21:32

and the dresser man still hasnt called, like his wife said he would this eveing....

Ah, 16 buggies, but all in profit until I got the p&t, which I really needed.
Its a seriuos PITA not having a buggy to put your shoppping in you know.Although prob a money saving tip; if you only take your rucksack out on days you know you need to get food, you'll only buy it on those days, and not do impulse purchases that you cant carry home

EachPeachPearMum · 08/03/2008 22:25

Ok- am I weird? we only have 1 buggy, and have only had 1 from birth.

Whats with all the buggies?

(well- not Jas...she's on her third...but....???)

EachPeachPearMum · 08/03/2008 22:28

I had to work all day today at a DCSF thingy, so dd was with dh all day.
Apparently she kept begging him to to 'ironing boarding'....

turns out she meant she wanted to see snowboarding (1080) on the wii!

OP posts:
DontDreamItBeIt · 08/03/2008 22:48

I've had two more buggies and one double for the dds, as well.

EPPM - Dd you get a response from Disoverlife? Wheresthehamster wants you on the book thread.....

Phoenix · 08/03/2008 22:51

EPPM, ds swings his arms around (like playing tennis) and makes a 'tis, tis' sound when he wants dh to put the Wii on.

EachPeachPearMum · 08/03/2008 23:08

Yeah we get asked for 'tennis' quite frequently too, and 'donkey konga'- it has bongos that you beat rhythm on to songs (drumming karaoke!)

She is restricted to once a week though- and at weekends only.

Jas- have emailed wheres.... Discoverlife did reply, but not sure what I should have been doing IYSWIM.

We have 2 buggies - the Mountain Buggy that we bought pre-birth, and the McClaren that we bought for the Eye meet up (and now use for going into town).

I love the name Trinity Friz - it's on my shortlist for this one, but not on dh's.

Sounds like you've made really good progress with the kitchen already mrm.

Was out last night , hence not being on here.

mustrunmore · 09/03/2008 08:24

Where were you out?

I got no evenig to myself, as firstly dh told ds1 he was 'nipping downstairs', thn just left to go out with his mate (I knew he wsa going out, but he failed to tell me ds1 was still awake and it a strop). Then the wife of the friend we went out with calld for a chat, for an hour So by the time i'd taken some old cupboard doorsa off, it was 11pm and I was knackered!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/03/2008 08:48

30th birthday of one of my post-natal group of friends. Party at her house. 5 of us from our group just sat on the floor in the living room and scoffed tonnes of canapes whilst nattering. Was lovely.

DontDreamItBeIt · 09/03/2008 09:10

sounds nice.

I'm still makig an easter garden with dd2, the we have balloon modelling planned.

at sneaking out dh. No matter what, dp doesn't do this. I would be livid. He always says goodbye. (He would definitely leave me with tantrumming children though so the end result would be he same.

I'll take that as an invitation, mrm, and come and check out the kitchen

mustrunmore · 09/03/2008 09:26

I never thinko f you needing an invite, I just assume you never want to come. Of course you can come and nosey. Esp as I know you'll be able to envisage the finished product!

The boys are happy as we just found 2 marbles under the big unit when I took it out!

Flamesparrow · 09/03/2008 10:23

Oh, 1st April is the date, but haven't checked that it is ok with mum and sister yet

Buggies... I have bought 2 new, one from the tip (was hell but needed something smaller than travel system, was eventually replaced with the second new one), one second hand (zapp) - it was needed to fit in a fiesta! and one pram given.

I find the zapp good for budgetting... too much shopping and it tips over backwards

Sorry for not being on much - this whole computer thing is a nightmare. Should be sorting one in the next couple of weeks - I have a man who is talking about loaning/giving/selling very cheap one, but I'm not sure if he is aware that it is not as part of the school (veeeeeeery long story which I will attempt to write out tomorrow), if not, DH has a dell discount thing with NHS.

Getting pink streaks in my hair tomorrow Been wanting them since I stopped working for DD.

Oh doing a week of work at the school last week of term too - need to tell all about that as well

My sister is home though, so I am off to bond

xxx

mustrunmore · 09/03/2008 10:40

1st April is date for what? Me? We have brother and nephew from Hong Kong visiting then!

Frizbe · 09/03/2008 11:16

Gah just got interuppted by the lads playing the wow card game in the shop and totally forgot what I was saying??? doh

Think it was for nice night CSWS
at dh for legging it out the door MRM

I keep looking at it this way girls, the kids are nearly 3 now, that's when they start to gain a sense of normality

dd2 ate the wax off half a babybel this morning I looked it up, its none toxic, but generally they don't recommend eating it why I don't know? because I trusted her to open it as she usually does and take the damn cheese out, as she usually does shame dd1 didn't shout me a bit earlier to let me know I was sorting washing up in kitchen, they were in living room.....sigh.....I had to peel the other half including wax out of her mouth Well I suppose you can only have one bright child right?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/03/2008 18:50

Don't suppose any of you have been here?

for pink streaks. We will of course need pics.

Phoenix · 09/03/2008 19:11

No sorry csws

Ds has just fallen down the first 6 steps onto the tiled kitchen floor . He was just going up to bed but he's got a little lump on the side of his head so i'm keeping him up a bit longer.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/03/2008 19:50

Must be the day for stair falling - dd fell down the top section of ours today, because she was trying to carry a huge doll, a digital thermometer and a big blusher brush all at the same time . She was ok after a cuddle though (stairs are carpeted), so very lucky. Hope Lew is feeling ok and the bump goes quickly Phoenix.

Phoenix · 09/03/2008 20:05

He's gone to bed now, his bump has gone down. He was up and about playing after a cuddle so i think he was ok anyway.

for dd falling down too, glad she was ok. Cuddles from mummy are magic

DontDreamItBeIt · 09/03/2008 20:58

I hope the bumped babes are ok

Csws...I rode past that place on my bike about 17 years ago, looking for a cheap campsite, but I guess that isn't what you need to know
