the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

mustrunmore · 18/04/2008 21:31

so, i'm here alone agiain where are you all??? I'm babysitting up the road. Told them to turn telly off so i'm not trempted to watch crap all night. Have my book, but fancied a chat first!!!

Flamesparrow · 18/04/2008 21:43

I was gettin wine

Random thing of the day that made me - the way the screensaver is set up on here it shows 2 pics together half the time... it had the bumfluff logo overlapping the photo of DS's bum when he was stuck in the cat flap

Have also discovered it plays mini clips on screensaver - tis really nice to see them

mustrunmore · 18/04/2008 22:13

I've been playing a solo game of 'captive wench', because this room is so full of character. its great!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/04/2008 22:18

We didn't put dd to bed til 9 (2.5hr sleep this arvo), and then have been watching TV and talking about milk intolerance on here. Off to bed now.

mustrunmore · 18/04/2008 22:20

night night then. are you looking very pg yet BTW??

mustrunmore · 18/04/2008 22:25

Flame, i meant to say to you. I've always not come with trhe boys to see you because the thought of that train journey with 2 is terrible. but then i realised it took about the same time to get to Warwick Castle and itr was fine actually. my world is opening up!!

Frizbe · 18/04/2008 23:48

lol MRM are you roleplaying by yourself you'll have lots of fun with other people then
you didn't hear about school place, no website you can check on?

for dd csws, hopeing she's a bit better tomorrow.

at Phoenix.

mustrunmore · 19/04/2008 09:04

Yeah, I was i suspect if i was with other people I'd just go loony amangst all the long haired men , like a kid in a sweet shop

so, all keep your fingers crossed for the postman today

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2008 11:38

Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat....?

Or no Postman Pat?

mustrunmore · 19/04/2008 11:50

Postamn came.
He got our third choice.
Expected.
Feel nothing at the moment.
Its better then getting the local school, or one right on the other side of the borough.
But its not as good as getting one of my first two choices. No way as good.
I'll keep him on the waiting lists for the other 2 though, but its unlikely there'll be a place not taken up.

I'm going shoppping alone to chher myself up and havea think!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2008 12:08

Well at least you got one of your choices, and you did say that there was no chance of 1 or 2, so given that, it's a good result!

Flamesparrow · 19/04/2008 12:10

It will be fine. You know my theory is that all things happen for a reason and it all works out in the end. It could be that there are hideous kids going to options a & b that would have made his life a misery for his entire school career, and the fates are seeing that that doesn't happen.

Obv if he gets a back up place in one of those then said kids turned down the places, I am not dooming him to a life of bullying

Frizbe · 19/04/2008 17:18

Ah yes I like Flames viewpoint there when it comes to schools, so congrats on at least getting one you asked for MRM, as opposed to one of the crap ones you really didn't want
Feeling lucky here, found out the school dd1's gotten into is now full (from another teacher at one of the other schools) so phew.

So won't be about tonight, I'm off to Brum as soon as dh gets home, out with two of my old school friends one of whom now lives in Brum, so its a meal and drinkies somewhere in town I guess? can't have tons though, as have to get up at 7.30 to get back here for 9am (blooming kid sitting getting in the way of my social life!) sigh, why do we have to open/work on Sundays......(to make more money eh, sigh)

DontDreamItBeIt · 19/04/2008 20:29

Evening all

I hope you are feeling ok about ds' school now, mrm. I'm with Flame in the view that it will be fine.

have a nice night out Frizbe

How is dd now csws?

DP is bak to work on Moday (huge sigh of relief), but has actually finished alo of the unfinished jobs over the last week, so apart from he sudden influx of bills, and missing weeks wages, we are ok.

I've been busy baking (Lasest cake pic on my profile)and cleaning (no pictures)

Phoenix · 19/04/2008 20:52

Evening

Hope dd is better now csws.

you didn't get the choice you wanted for school mrm but you got 1 of your choices so that's good .

for dp's job Jas.

Enjoy your night out Friz .

Phoenix · 19/04/2008 20:54

You should start a cake making business Jas

DontDreamItBeIt · 19/04/2008 20:55

It wouldn' actually make me any money though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/04/2008 21:02

It's fab Jas. Who is it for?

DD is fine now thank you. She was up at 5:13 this morning though, and just had an hour's nap this afternoon. Early start was because she had managed to set an alarm clock in the 'library', and dh kicked something and woke her on his way to turn it off.

DontDreamItBeIt · 20/04/2008 08:28

My friend's dd turned 6 yesterday. I gave it to her instead of a crappy plasic present
