the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Flamestar · 16/04/2008 09:04

Yup, sounds like you will have to keep her off

I forgot I meant to comment on the nursery thing - she needs to be with the right age group. The one where DS is has a group of 3 months - 2yrs and he is SO much happier now he is in the 2-3 group. I agree with looking elsewhere.

Schools - I can't really say anything with that because I have never been in the situation where anything other than state school is the option.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2008 10:38

That's the wrong answer flame. You are supposed to encourage me to be naughty and take her. She seems to be fine again now. All very bizarre. She is asking to go to school - pleeeeeease mummy.

Flamestar · 16/04/2008 12:47

Lol - If it had been before about 3am I would have done , or if you knew WHY like milk allergy etc. B tends to still go to school when she has been sick through eating the wrong thing because I know that sickness from bug iyswim

Phoenix · 16/04/2008 13:42

Thanks for the offer Friz but i went out this morning without reading the thread and i got him one in Mothercare. It fits him fine and is for 15kg-18kg so should last a bit longer than one of the Konfidence ones that are for 12kg-16kg

{{{hugs}}} EPPM

Has dd gone to school csws? Hope she's ok

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2008 13:56

I'm very naughty and have sent her .

DontDreamItBeIt · 16/04/2008 17:01

I wouldn't send a sick child unless I was 100 % certain it wsan't a bug. It isn't fair on the other children.

EPPM - csws has good suggestions. I agree putting your dd in with younger chldren for the convenience of the nursery is wrong, and eeds sorting.
I also think if you are sure private education is the way to go, save up now, and just do secondary school for dd and possible subsequent child.

DP is unemployed again The temporary lack of job at the beginning of the week seems to be permanent I hate the unpredictability of him being self employed.
He si finally finishing off all the unfinished jobs at home which don't require us buying more materials though, so it is nice to see stuff getting done.

Flamestar · 16/04/2008 19:52

How was she?

MRM - How much do I owe you? Turns out DH dropped a knife on the other one, hence the sudden break in it

mustrunmore · 16/04/2008 21:25

Flame, you owe me nohing I'm very happy to send you such an exclusive gift, despite my house/100acre woods not being where you want to go for your hols

Will catch up properly, I swear. but just for now, can i just shout... CSWS>>>> I KISSED THE BOWMAN TODAY He remembered me

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/04/2008 21:57

Yeah yeah - bet he just pretended to remember you cause he thought he might get his leg over that way .

for lack of job Jas. Does he have any possible avenues to explore for more work?

Dd was fine . Unsurprisingly given our early start she fell asleep on the way home. I moved her into bed (she woke but went back off with no fuss) and she ended up sleeping from 4 til 6! Surprisingly she still went to bed ok about 8:15. Fingers crossed for a good night. I also slept from about 4:45 until 6, so am more awake than usual for this time of night! Had reflexology tonight too, so am now catching up with the Apprentice a bit behind time.

Flamestar · 16/04/2008 22:31

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I don't have a pic of your house and I forgot 100 acre wood!

I was impressed that the orange one goes REALLY well with my kitchen

DontDreamItBeIt · 16/04/2008 22:49

What did you get Flame?

DP go a phone call from his man at work......the sudden disappearance of the job is due to a bit of a personality clash resulting in dp not being welcome at that site any more (He objected to being called a c*nt!)
The good news is, the man wih the money is happy wih his work and wants him back, so he's back tomorrow to give a quote on a different site

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/04/2008 07:28

Yay Jas .

No sign of any sickness this morning.

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 08:23

And he prob would've done Tabs, if my friend had been able to look after all 3 kids alone I just wanted to melt when he snuggled me into him

Sorry to disappoint your nosiness Jas, but it was 2 washing up brushes

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 08:56

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/04/2008 09:49

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 10:58

Almost. Certainly not a crappy pursed lips thing.

Flamesparrow · 17/04/2008 11:56

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 12:58

A reinactment man that I've lusted after for at least 2 years He's just soooo nice. Got great vibes from him. Even when he's not in his costume,he's still olvely.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/04/2008 13:13

Aaaargh - our f*ing waste of space builder has moved our fridge, and in so doing has knackered the door so that it no longer shuts fully. He's not interested in taking responsibility, and it cost several thousand £.

Whilst in the utility room discussing this with him, dd vanished, and the back door and front gate were both open, so I ended up running all the way to the farm to check for her, whilst the builder walked and neighbour drove the other way. She eventually turned up upstairs (I checked every room before going outside), and says that she had been hiding under the dining room table when I went in to look.

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 13:26

hmm. Ds1 is very imnto hiding at the mo, so itll only get worse. Sorry!
What you gonna do about the fridge?

Tell me in laymans terms how to make a photot be ok to put on my profile, so i dont have to load bowman onto pic trail to show you?

Jas... want a onelife large wrap thing?

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/04/2008 13:30

You generally don't have to do anything to it first, as MN will automatically resize it when it uploads anyway.

I'm gonna let dh look at the fridge when he's back tomorrow and deal with the moron then. Meanwhile I'll prob stick something between fridge and freezer handles to try and keep it closed properly.

Flamesparrow · 17/04/2008 13:41

It is so pretty!!!!

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 13:52

What is?

thanks csws; done it. But I swear it diidnt used to do that for you, it just used to refuse them!

Flamesparrow · 17/04/2008 14:06

mustrunmore · 17/04/2008 14:09
