the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 12:28

PS: I'm not getting a perm.

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/04/2008 12:36

Red hair and yellow clothes is good if you are confident with it. You can always bleach/cut it off if you hate it.

Frizbe I went up to an enormous 34 c when I was pg with dd1. pre dc I was 32a, now 34a. They may be small, but still good enough to bf all three

I've bought rimless glasses.....they cost alot so please lie if you see them and hate them.

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 13:36

I'd love red hair. Or anything that made me look pretty

Threading hurt this time, because i'd left it so long! Usually I just fall asleep!! Really meant to do it beofre going to flame's, but time ran away withme, and I cant go with both kids as they messabout too much tgether

As far as i remember, I went to a 40dd. Which is odd, given that i'm an e now, albeit only a 34 I think

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 13:38

Oh, tell Mr Fizbe not to worry. In the past, i've had tesco cafe lunch with my jeans inside out because they were too muddy to wear

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 13:48

Jas, I'm sure they look great

Lol MRM did you legs feel like they'd had a nice mud pack after that then?

Ouch for the threading....

Bored here, tho mum just popped in with the girls, which gave me a few mins chasing round the store yelling do not touch, entertainment with dd2...... it was busys before 12 when it hailed, now its intermittantly raining.....hoping it picks up soon? guessing a lot of people away for hols. Guess I should do some computerlisting

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/04/2008 13:57

Oh, on the bra size thing, mine were a 40H pre pregnancy, a 40H during pregnancy, a 40H whilst breastfeeding, and are currently......yes, you guessed it, a 40H.

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 13:59

How do you keep them staying the same, that's so not fair!

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 14:10

First time round I was very happy because from about 8 weeks I suddenly had a huge chest but still a tiny body Sadly did not happen with ds12 as I just huge all over.

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 14:43

ds12 when did you whallop all those out then?

Chloe55 · 12/04/2008 14:45

Hiya,

My bra size was 36E pre baby then 36F post and now, despite dropping 20lbs they are a 34FF ! How the hell does that happen??!

MRM - have I missed something? Have you and your dh split up, I noticed the talk of a beach pissup with another fella?

How's the pg treating you CSWS?

Why the name change Flame?

How's the business going Friz?

I know, I know, 20 questions but it's been a while.

Right, my life. Basically my job is sucking big time at the moment I have had a few spouts with the boss and basically I can't see the point in working somewhere where I am clearly unappreciated for next to no money due to having to put ds in nursery full days. So, I have decided to become a childminder. I toyed wth the idea when ds was months old but decided against it for one reason or another. My views on life have changed somewhat now so am keen to get started on something new. As far as trying for another baby, well, I haven't gone back on the pill but not sure a change in career and a new baby go together all that well. But then saying that, we have been trying since June and still nothing is happening yet so I am a bit reluctant to stop trying as it may take years iyswim? Oh I don't know, dh and I are a little unsure of what our best plan of attack is.

Oh I will also be starting party planning for Partylie (candles and accessories) this week to get a bit of extra cash coming through the door hopefully as we are skint.

Dh and I are going through a little bit of a lull at the mo - he is studying all the time because he failed his exams again and I like my early nights so we are a bit like ships passing at the moment which isn't making for the best relationship but hopefully that should eventually smooth out....hopefully.

Weight loss is still going well, feeling a bit more confident in myself now which is good.

So that's basically it really.

EachPeachPearMum · 12/04/2008 14:52

re the bra- put on round waist, twist round and move up.
To get off, reach up back with arm and undo.

Went from 32D to 34E when bf, down to 32D again. They got bigger when I was pg just now, and have stayed at 32E now, which is odd, and annoying, as none of my amazing pre-dd underwear wardrobe fits me! All those sets! gah.

I have stuck to separates now, as who knows what they'll do.

Men don't have these problems do they? Once they've gone through puberty, things tend to stay the same sizE

Hello Chloe, nice to see ya back.
How long does the childminding thing take to qualify for then? Sounds like a good plan to me, people will always need there kids looking after SS goes to one after school every day.
Sorry you're not getting to see dh much at the mo, fingers x'd he passes his exams next time round (what are they for again?)
Lol you have mad boobs like mine then
I'm wondering why bf pumps boobs up so many sizes cup wise? hell it could put all those enlargement places out of business
So how's your boy then?

Business is good here, bit mad with both of us working all hours and the kids being juggled, but we're nearly at the stage of getting staff, hurrah!!

EachPeachPearMum · 12/04/2008 14:54

And Friz- I just couldn't wear yellow. I'm not the right colouring- even if I dyed my hair red.

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 14:54

I know what you mean EPPM I had nice sets pre dd1, all of which ended up in the bin, bah.

Chloe55 · 12/04/2008 15:08

Well I start the course in June which is 10wks long - hoping to get some work for september, will stay at my current place until I'm qualified though - which just seems such a long time off.

Ds is good, his speech is coming on great, he told me he was gorgeous the other day when I asked if he was cute He does the counting thing too but he only 'knows' what one and two is iykwim. He does do a strange wiping at his face all the time at the moment though - sounds odd I know, it seems like some sort of habit/tic he has got - I'm hoping he grows out of it.

Dh is doing CIMA exams for accountancy which seems like forever due to him just doing last minute revision cram sessions for the month before his exam which has obviously not worked for the past 2 years

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 15:25

Oh drat for the last minute cramming not working then is he failing by lots, or just a little bit? do they tell him what he's failed on??

10 weeks is a fairly quick course then although I agree I can seem forever when you're wanting out of your current job, but hang on in there, its not long really.
Sure ds will grow out of his tick thing, kids seem to do the oddest things sometimes

EachPeachPearMum · 12/04/2008 15:56

Hi Chloe- long time no see!
My dsis had lots of tics when she was younger- and now as an adult, she has none.
The best thing to do is to not comment on it. Just ignore it, talking about them always made her worse, and focussed attention on her, compounding the issue.

At least he's young, and not at school, so has chance for it to just go away.

Phoenix · 12/04/2008 16:26

You lot have been busy since yesterday evening it took me ages to catch up

Childminding sounds good chloe

Getting pissed on the beach sounds good too mrm

for no answers from the doc Flame

I put my bra on from the back too no twisting round. I can undo it 1 handed as well and take it off under a top.

Ds is gonna be going down for a nap soon cos we're off to my cousins 18th party tonight so we'll be home lateish

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 18:20

I diidnt say I was getting pissed on the beach. I said I was going to tohe beach, and Flame asked why we diidnt go drinking on the beach at hers! Drinking is plan B if the weather really is too bad! And, God, Chloe, in no way have me and dh split up, unless thats an apparition in my bedroom I do have male friends you know!!

Chloe55 · 12/04/2008 18:29

Sorry mrm, I just pictured romantic evening on the beach, waves lapping on the shore, glass of champagne in your hand (or can of cider ), talking sweet nothings and watching the sun go down with your new, rather gorgeous fella - I hope your dh doesn't read this!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/04/2008 18:42

We're off out tonight too Phoenix. 2 doors down are having a 21st b'day party. They have a massive marquee in the field next to their house, and I believe over 200 people coming . It's black tie, but they'll have to make do with me in a party dress, as I don't have anything black tie. Since we figured dd wouldn't get any sleep with the noise, we've dropped her off at the in-laws for the night for the first time, and are hoping to manage to stay up past 10 o clock partying (in a tee-total way ).

Bugger for the CIMA exams Chloe - how many has he got left to do? They are hard, and IME do need work all year round, not just at the last minute. If you really understand the topics, then the exams are much less of a worry, so he needs to work on his understanding as he goes through the course. I expect he knows all this already of course, but I can't resist chipping in having had first time passes throughout myself.

Chloe55 · 12/04/2008 19:08

I think his problem CSWS is that he has always been crap with exams, he loves his job but falls to pieces at exams. It also hasn't helped that we started the whole baby thing half way through when in an ideal world he should have maybe qualified first when he had no distractions. He has a final exam and then some sort of courseowrk or something at the end. It has actually got to the point where I just stop asking him how his exam has gone and wait for him to eventually tell me

Hope you have a goodnight pg and csws, I am very envious - in all on my own tonight - have already polished off 3/4 bottle of wine and ds only went to bed at 6pm - that's not good is it

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 19:11

Thats ok Chloe!! BTW, dh never reads anything I post. Plus he says he's fine with me going out as long as its not with the same man twice IYSWIM Its only my friends dh, as she is away and he'll be allowed out for a change!

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 20:45

Hope you are having great nights Phoenix and CSWS

MRM have fun too then!

Chloe I'm home alone too, though not on the pop, I drank all of our wine Thursday night

Nyeh · 12/04/2008 22:15

I'vbe gone through 1/2 a bottle

Did you really not mention drinking on the beach MRM Was sure I read that...
