the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Mine are all wired.
The only time the twisting thing is awkward is when its a strapless bra- the silicone grippy bits grip to you too much!

What age should they count at then?

csws- I have only ever seen underwired maternity/nursing bras in vertbaudet tbh- and they're french, so sizes usually small. I thought you weren't supposed to have wired ones for maternity/bfing, due to constriction of breasts?

Lalalala

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 22:17

No idea EPPM....but I am very impressed with anything ds says that I can understand tbh.

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/04/2008 22:26

That's a widely believe myth EPPM (sucker ), but there's no problem with underwires as long as they are well fitting and not tight. Figleaves have some fairly big underwired nursing bras, but not quite substantial enough for me sadly.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 22:37

that is really crap to find out now! After 3 years in fecking non-wired!

I just switched back to wired, and I feel like a different, unfrumpy woman! Someone (a man) winked at me today in a meeting!

Well, I can top that! I've worn tidy clothes 2 days in a row, and I'm going out with a man on Monday night

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 22:48

but is he DH?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 22:49

Er, no. He's someone else's though

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 22:53

oooh- where are you going to?
(or is it a parents evening?)

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 22:55

Cheeky! We're off to get well and truely pissed. Or to the beach if the weather is clement.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 22:58

the beaCH? aT NIGHT? weird!

One of my favourite things ever

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 23:03

IN APRIL???????

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 23:08

Why so negative?! Cant you picture the darkness, the sound of the waves, the wind, being wrapped up in warm scarf etc, with a thermos of tea and something alcoholic? Talking for hours, about completely non child-related subjects? Being a real person for a while?

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 23:19

All I can think of is the cold and the rain sorry

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 23:26

in my favour- it is absolutely bucketing down here, and the wind is howling down my chimney!

Sounds geat mrm, but aren't you quite a way from the beach?

Two more questions after relaying our bra convo to dh...

  1. Do you do it up round your waist, or at actual bra height?
  2. Do you take it off from the back or the front?
mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 09:16

Only 45 mins to an hour away.

Er, bra does up around bottom of ribsish.
I think i take it off from the back, but now I actually have to picture it, I'm doubting myself Will try and remember to note what I do later!

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/04/2008 09:48

Being a real person for a while sounds lovely but I'd rather be inside.

Bra does up round waist (I put one on this morning specially to check)
Taking off either undo back and take off through tshirt (preferred method here), or if actually undressing I turn it round and undo at the front I think.

We're going out on another galsses hunt this morning. Wish me luck....

Nyeh · 12/04/2008 10:09

Bra height, and back.

I'm assuming everyone here can get it off under top n out sleeve method?

MY child is clearly the most genius - none of this counting crap for him, no, he can spot the tiniest bit of "cockit" (chocolate) at 50 paces and have it in his mouth in a split second

Why didn't we go and drink on the beach???

mustrunmore · 12/04/2008 10:22

Ah, ds2 has 'bobolot'.

Er, dunno Flame, why didnt you take me to the beach??!!

Am child free for 3 hours to go bedsheet shopping and get my threading done

Nyeh · 12/04/2008 10:47

Threading?

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 11:47

as in eyebrows??? which reminds me mine could do with doing

girls, do you think red hair will match yellow clothes/go ok?? debating going Red RED (2nd childhood)

I do mine up at the back here can't undo it one handed thou at EPPM.

I thought nursing bras were supposed to not be wired as well, damn myths eh. Can I ask what silly sizes peoples boobs went upto? as mine hit a whopping 42DD last time..... thankfully back at a 34DD now. Has everyone who BF had their boobs increase in size? I used to be a 34B prior to all this boob business.

DD2 did me a rousing rendition of Baba Black Sheep this am, she's getting the hang of incy wincy as well, not surprising though as both dd1 and I can be a bit chattery

I fancy the beach with some booze in fact I'd rather fancy anywhere with some booze and no kids for a night

I heard it rained a lot last night, dh rang to say he was soaked, the tent got soaked being put up and he was soaked. He rang again from Tesco carpark this am to say he was having breakfast in LRP kit and getting funny looks, but all his clothes were soaked and he was going to put up the tent properly this am, so lord knows how he put it up last night??? its only a small one 2 poles makes a dome thing??? poor ss who knows what fashion of rigging they slept in last night....character building I guess

I didn't get on here last night, as I tried my hand at paiting its not a masterpiece by any stretch, but was nice to have a play with some colours, I'm going to fidde with it a bit more tonight, and present it to a mate for her birthday, with some other stuff

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/04/2008 12:01

Red hair and yellow clothes you say?

Frizbe · 12/04/2008 12:28

Yeah

Trouble is I've brought two lovely yellow T-shirts for this summer, plus a hoodie type jacket with out the hood, which is yellow and grey, so I was debating blonde or Red......(dh would love Red)
