the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

How's the pregnancy going anyway CSWS? Do you have an antenatal thread somewhere?

EachPeachPearMum · 11/04/2008 21:40

Hah- I can't do mine at the back either...can undo with 1 hand though

I always assumed it was because I had an ample bosom....

Flame- its worse when they don't find anything wrong, isn't it.

Nyeh · 11/04/2008 21:43

Yup, I wanted something wrong, but easily fixable. Not the completely baffled face.

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 21:44

EPPM, are you a man?? Girls cant undo with one hand.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:45

Do people do their bras up behind them then? Why?
I've never even tried....but am now back to not wearing one at all again.
I also can't do make up, but I can French plait my own hair, and do cornrows on other people

Flame - check your ad, there is a link to a thread saying your site isn't working for Unis (It is btw, I checked)

Nyeh · 11/04/2008 21:45

I can too....

You really need to practice more MRM

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/04/2008 21:46

I don't twist at odd angles . I find it really odd and uncomfortable to do up at the front and twist round. I might have to start a thread on this (but am prob too tired to do so now).

Yes I do have an ante-natal thread 'somewhere'. Shockingly enough, it's in the 'ante-natal' section .

Pregnancy going fine AFAIK. Glucose tolerance test re-arranged for 24th, so hoping we don't have a repeat of last week. No movements yet, so at that stage where you don't really feel pregnant, and wonder if you imagined the whole thing . Still a bit tired, but nowhere near as much as I was, helped by going to bed earlier most nights.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:46

I can undo one handed
Simple and fixable would have been better, Flame. I hope you are ok.

Nyeh · 11/04/2008 21:46

Ooh thanks - she emailed me I'm crap lately!

Nyeh · 11/04/2008 21:47

The antenatal thread in the antenatal section?????

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 21:47

There's a very dodgy reply to that flame

Why didnt Jas inform me of hair-doing skills before last visit??!!

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:48

If you do up at the front, it is the bra that is twisting, not you. Surely doing up at the back involves wierd arm bending.

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 21:49

csws, when you coiming to see us again? Ds1 was asking.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:49

You've never asked, mrm

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 21:50

Forgot that you have girls!

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/04/2008 21:51

Do you all wear underwired bras? Wondering if that makes the diff as to which is more comfortable. The wires would stick into me when I turned the bra around if I did up at the front, but my (more than) ample bosom requires wires (except that I can't find any underwired nursing bras in my size).

Nyeh · 11/04/2008 21:52

All wires here.

I just had to go with non-wired for nursing

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/04/2008 21:54

Dunno mrm - you were the one who was unavailable all hols! But dd was asking the other day too, after spotting a pic of the boys on my comp. She starts school Monday, so we won't have as much time available from next week. Maybe we'll all come down one weekend day instead, but are busy for the next few.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:54

No wires here. I can see that may make a difference.

Hair plaiting skills came before the dds. dd2 won't stand still long enough for me to do hers, and dd1 likes it too short to do much wih it.

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 21:57

Underwired.

you seem to be the busy ones csws!!!

Dh now reckons he'd itching think we are all paranoid oafter spending decades getting rid last time, which was actually about 2.5 yrears ago!

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 21:58

Just remembered...I need to brag. DS counted to 6 this morning (Not actually counting anything, just reciting the numbers iyswim)

mustrunmore · 11/04/2008 22:00

Bloody hell
ds2 says '2' for any letter or number he sees. But he did manage to identify a 'moo' and a 'cicken' at the farm today

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 22:02

He isn't relating it to anything written, either, just reciting. DD2 was the same. She just walked down the stairs and counted to 12 as she took each step one day. (I count out loud alot more than I realise)

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/04/2008 22:03

"moo" and "cicken" is good. Everything large and four legged is a moo here, too, including a giraffe!

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/04/2008 22:10

We get up to 11 here .
She was counting the sheep in the field this afternoon, and dh helpfully told her to count the legs and divide by 4 .
