the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Oh we need pics Jas seriously though that you didn't really save any money, but you had to try to find out right? Sorry to hear dh is getting on your tits.

Flame/MRM sounds like you're going to have fun MRM glad you had a great day at Legoland, really must take the kids one of these days

CSWS for cold, hope it goes quickly/isn't one of those lingering ones.

Dh made me pizza for tea or should that be re heated it, still its the thought that counts ate it whilst watching drwho.

EPPM you might be back at the lickys tomorrow sledging, you have a great forcast for snow tomorrow, in fact, so does CSWS and Jas n MRM, its just Phoenix, Flame and me who are getting missed tho Phoenix might get a bit tomorrow night....

DontDreamItBeIt · 05/04/2008 23:16

NOOOO I don't like snow. Can't you have it instead Frizbe?

EachPeachPearMum · 05/04/2008 23:25

Well it hailed quite a lot today, but doesn't actually seem cold enough for snow.

I LOVE snow though

Well I've had grovellig apologies from dp, and an admission that I am in charge and he should run all decisions past me first, so I can now go to bed and sleep

I have your book here EPPM....is it good bedtime reading?

DontDreamItBeIt · 06/04/2008 07:39

We have snow......dd1 keeps singing Jingle Bells

Flame · 06/04/2008 08:50

We have snow! In the front and back gardens

Bittersweet though... DD is sooooooooooo excited by it, but I know it has most likely scuppered the MRM plans

Phoenix · 06/04/2008 09:18

No snow here.

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 09:24

I'm working on plans B and C Flame. But I want to see you TOMORROW
Having said that, I'm opting for a hot bath rahter than snowmen with the boys, so that doesnt bode well for my tolerance of a trip to you!!

EPPM; I watched it Ok, so you wouldnt want that yo happen to you, but it didnt actaually cause any unpleasant reactions for me; I watched it all quite dispassionately, and it hasnt prayed on my mind since. So that diidnt really achieve its objective! Maybe its worse on big screen??

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/04/2008 09:33

Snow here. Why does it scupper mrm's visit?
Think dh is taking dd swimming this morning, but might try and sneak out to build a snowman first.

Still feeling rubbish here, not helped by dd waking several times in the night.

EPPM - the photo was Friday - the warm day!

Flame · 06/04/2008 09:46

Because her mate doesn't want to drive in the snow (I am assuming), and if there is snow up n down country MRM doesn't want to end up on a train with delays and 2 bored children

Flame · 06/04/2008 10:16

Jas - You said you had posted a cheque to me, but I haven't got one Sorry

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 10:34

Doesnt want to drive in the snow for 2hrs to be not on the beach, and stucjk in soft play that she could be in anywhere, or sat in a hotel room!!

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 10:40

And mrm doesnt want to be stuck on a train with 2 kids on her lap for 2 hrs minimum after an hour on the tube anyway

Flame · 06/04/2008 10:55

Snow all gone now

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 11:05

Really???

Flame · 06/04/2008 11:49

Yup, told you we don't do snow here

DontDreamItBeIt · 06/04/2008 13:24

I as just thinking about my soapnuts, Flame, and going o see if that cheue had cleared before I started complaining....I'll cancel it and sort out a new one.

Snow all gone here, too. The mum who never comes out when her children play out was out throwing snowballs and roaring with laughter this morning It was lovely, (and meant I could hide in my nice warm house)

Flame · 06/04/2008 14:59

CSWS - I have invited Bree and anyone on the what you don't get about MN thread to yours for a picnic again in the summer

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 15:49

Started snowing agin!

Phoenix · 06/04/2008 15:58

It's been snowing/hailing/raining on and off all day here. Raining at the mo.

Dh has gone to the pub to watch the Barnsley match. I'm pissed off with him for it cos he's been in bed til 1pm, cos he's on nights, then got in the bath got ready etc. hardly spent any time with ds, he left here to go to the pub at 3 and is going straight to work from there after the match so ds isn't gonna see him til tomorrow morning and it won't be for long then cos he'll want to get some sleep .

Oh it's snowing again now.

We got the bench back and it is now chained to the fence until we decide to get rid of it.

Speaking of picnics are we doin another piss up this summer? Or a day with the kids? If so are we gonna suggest some possible dates?

DontDreamItBeIt · 06/04/2008 17:02

I'm free all summer except the last week of August
Are we going to Warwick castle in the summer still?

Can we fit in a mums-only piss up as well....I really enjoyed last years.

Flame · 06/04/2008 17:34

Yup, last week of august is out for me too, unless I bring Boy which he may freak out at

I can do kids free too Feel sure I'll be able to wangle it

Flame · 06/04/2008 17:35

CSWS has been on the thread with me invitin, but she hasn't said no

Phoenix · 06/04/2008 18:03

I've been saving points on Walkers Crisps and I think Warwick Castle is one of the places to save money on, i'll go check.

mustrunmore · 06/04/2008 18:06

We cant do firsrt week of Aug. Am thinking we'd better book ourselves in NOW! Have to fit in potty traininig too
