the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Lol, you know thats not what i meant ! Ds2 was def responsible for the pilot light, as he tends to play neenaws on the boiler and the council c1921 is responsible for the speaker, for making crap walls when they built the house!

No lights is always fun

Hope you all ate eenough; it didnt seem much

DontDreamItBeIt · 04/04/2008 17:14

You forget, I never feed mine properly at lunch time They are fine...haven't even asked for anything else yet. Tea is soon, then they will eat 2 or 3 weetabix each before bed.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/04/2008 17:21

Summarising wouldn't work mrm - you would miss the totally off the point diversions that were going on last night.

Flame · 04/04/2008 21:00

anyone wanna swap babies???

and to top off that thread, I decided to have a nice relaxing bath, shave legs etc... and remembered the bulb has gone in the bathroom, so tis a candlelit bath, with probably sliced up legs

Phoenix · 04/04/2008 21:28

Oh Flame but saying that i was laughing reading it he sounds very cute. Is my child strange because he just doesn't climb much at all

EachPeachPearMum · 04/04/2008 21:41

Oh- he sounds just like dd at the moment- this evening she was banging on the glass doors of the bookcases with a pot of nivea. Told her to stop it, bang, bang. Took it away from her so she picks up the bonjela, bang, bang. Took it away, so she uses her hand aarrrrggghhh!
Lift her away. Tell her no and why we dont hit glass.
Eyes glint away while she grins at me and says 'Glass mama. I like it!'

dd never climbs though, so at least we have some places to put things. Anyway she'd be too busy kissing the photos not scratching them!

at dd headbanging the glass EPPM
and a bit at ds Flame, he is being a two year old monkey eh
Don't take a break, just stay on here, I'm as guilty as you for whinging

On that note I had a look at jobs today, seriously mulling over being a silent partner. Dh on wow, as after apologising to me last night, he was just as bad at work again today we're hardly speaking.

The kids have voted to spend a day with him tomorrow, so I'm off to work for some peace and quiet! shame though, as its Meridians last day in the country for the rest of the month, and I was going to take the girls and go bbsit her ds whilst she finished packing.....but can't now will have to pop in and say bye on my way home.

Frizbe · 04/04/2008 21:58

JAs you got the lights fixed yet?

Frizbe · 04/04/2008 21:59

I'd forgotten I was taking a break

Flame · 04/04/2008 22:07

for glass bashing DD (forgot to say that)

I am to say that now it is all over, I have sniggered at the day too.

Phoenix · 04/04/2008 22:09

We all have days like that. You have to laugh or else you'll cry

EachPeachPearMum · 04/04/2008 22:11

Its when they look at you, 'glint' and grin then go to do something.....and you just pysl at them, because they're so cute, and at the end of the day nothing bad is going to happen because you're there anyway!

OP posts:
Phoenix · 04/04/2008 22:12

Why are they sooooooo cute when they're naughty?

Flame · 04/04/2008 22:15

Lol, nothing bad like big pieces of glass to draw with?

Frizbe · 04/04/2008 22:20

doh I'm so silly, hand, head, similar

Duno actually, she might want some nappies, I'll mail her and see!

Whats tishtash toys then? assuming some poncy lovely educational and interesting stuff?!

Flame, am loving the idea of what the boys are going to teach your ds then, if he's that enterprising on his own!

Jas, our neighbour came to get her ds, when he eventually decided he'd go home at 4pm and passed comment on how quiet and well ordered it was when the kids were eating today!! So, its only taken me 4 years to achieve decorum for 10 mins then!

I went for a lie down at 6pm, and only woke up 15 mins ago. so no run But at least have no tidied up (dh watching telly amidst piles of toys and discarded clothing) and done packed lunch for tomorrow.

flame, we going runnnig whwen I come then? About midnight when the kids are finally asleep??!!

EachPeachPearMum · 04/04/2008 22:42

I take it we're not the on;ly parents who have to cover our mouths when we're telling off dcs?

OP posts:
Flame · 04/04/2008 22:47

Erm yes... drinking running was just what I had in mind

Flame · 04/04/2008 22:49

I never do that.

I am "cross in another room"

Phoenix · 04/04/2008 22:49

You can't go to someone's house and make them go running

Flame · 04/04/2008 22:51

I like you Phoenix
