the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

I used to live in Birmigham, but I left in 1991! It has changed alot since then....

csws - Did I say a definite yes to coming to visit you on Monday? If not then please can we? Thanks.

mustrunmore · 27/03/2008 16:35

You mean you're not going to go to my pta meeting for me on Monday?

I spent my £10 book token today, that I had for my birthday 3 for 2 deal on at the momoent!

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/03/2008 16:47

Yes, come Monday Jas (you said probably as long as your rl friends didn't want you).

There is a poster called EachPeachPearPlum - I just read one of her threads and was very confused for a moment!

Will go read your other thread now EPPM.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/03/2008 16:54

Yes
She is a vegan christian

confues the hell out of me first time I read something she posted!
I REALLY couldn't remember writing that!

We have been here about the same amount of time though, so I can't really expect her to change!

She doesn't have a child yet? I didn;t realise

I'm sulking.

I've just taken the dc for a check at the dentist...they are fine and I have a huge hole in my tooth and have to go back tomorrow for a filling.

for the tooth Jas, I never knew you were another ex Brummie

Oh drat re the conservatory then CSWS at your oversize plans and arse of a farmer for you.

The vicks was going on dd1, not dd2, but I didn't bother in the end, as she decided she didn't want it on, and it wasn't worth the argument, instead she woke at 1am and screamed the place down until dh got out of bed as she demanded and bedded down with her for an hour (my ear, my ear hurrrrtttsss) till she dropped off again then dd2 got up at 5.50am, snuggled with us for half hour, then woke properly, so dh gave up and got out of bed (where as I will doze with her climbing all over me) so he took her downstairs, so he's knackered, but I'm not too bad

Phoenix · 27/03/2008 23:50

Have you all seen the thread about cbeebies bed time hour? They are taking ITNG off and putting 64 Zoo Lane on instead, ds won't be happy at all .

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/03/2008 07:18

I used to have a lovely black country accent, Frizbe (due to the boyfriend of the time raher than livning in Brum iyswim.)

Now that the dentist has poked round, I can feel the hole in my tooth, and daren't eat Glad I'm getting it sorted today, at least.

DS fell asleep on the sofa at 6.30 last night Very considerate of him to start preparing for the clock change all by himself

mustrunmore · 28/03/2008 07:57

Dh has round two of the dentist today Jas, so you're in good company! Personally, I'd rather have another c section than have a filling

My lovely neighbour is in hospital with serious internal bleeding, as she overlooked something that must've contained wheat or dairy

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/03/2008 08:00

Wow, that's an extreme reaction mrm .

Guess the tooth and lack of food explains your bad mood this morning then Jas .

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/03/2008 08:31

csws

mrm's nice neighbour

EachPeachPearMum · 28/03/2008 09:48

I'm with mrm on the filling front!

but for your neighbour- is this the one of the veg?

Jas- do clocks change this weekend????

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 28/03/2008 10:25

yes, its veg neighbour.

yes, clocks change this sat night.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/03/2008 13:47

lol at you not knowing that the clocks were changing!

Just thought I'd let you know that I saw the midwife this morning, and she found the heartbeat with a doppler, so looks like all is still well .

Hello, I have a Feb 06 boy (15th). I just went to the Oct 2007 post-natal club as I have a baby dd too, but remotes in the freezer sound much more interesting than pureed carrots!
DS has a dentist appointment in May... I'm more worried that I'll be told off for not brushing his teeth properly than him playing up!

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/03/2008 17:25

Hello phlossie DS sat on my knee for the dentist, and she couned his teeth every time he said "get off"

I've had my tooth filled, so m going to eat a nice big tea later.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/03/2008 17:48

Welcome phlossie - my dentist was pretty good about dd's poor brushing, and said that even just getting some toothpaste in there was good, and that most children are difficult at this age.

Congrats on the filling Jas.

Frizbe · 28/03/2008 21:55

Hi Phlossie

Jas, yay for teeth being filled.

CSWS glad everything is ok.

MRM for neighbour, hope she gets through this ok.

Flame, get onto blogger when you get a sec, I've tagged you!

Yay here today dd1 got into the school both she and we wanted her to get into

EachPeachPearMum · 28/03/2008 23:43

Hi Phlossie!

re clocks- what on earth gave you all the impression I was at all organised???

csws- excellent news!

Yay! for Friz's dd

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/03/2008 14:53

Great news on the school Friz.

What's everyone up to today? Busy day tidying, cleaning and doing food prep chez CSWS, as we have guests (MNers) for dinner. Just hoping (prob in vain) that we can get dd to bed by the time they arrive.

mustrunmore · 29/03/2008 15:16

Well, we went to the car boot sale (5 stalls !), then to do some shopping and lunch in Mcd's. And ds1 got his dvd that was his reward for good behaviour (you know the night traininig one that we adapted to being for goodness instead!!), so we watched that. Ds2 asleeep, so will be up all night tonight. Oh, and we got saturated on the way home!!
