the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/03/2008 09:42

We were up in the night too (dd also has a cough which disturbs her), from 2:10 until 3am.

DontDreamItBeIt · 26/03/2008 09:47

I was up from 3 to 6 oughly every 20 mins, but I went back to sleep aftr dp went to work.
Then he phoned me at 7.30

I knew what you meant about the conservatory, but I think Dames explanation was quite impressive from someone who hasn't seen the house

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 10:18

Ah, but you see if you knew me in real life you would realise that I am rather nosey

for all the bad nights, flame is he going to bed better or are you having bed time problems still as well?

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 11:41

Oh no! jut found ds3 with my mobile he seems to have sent 8 blank texts to b-i-l in canada bet that wasn't cheap!

DontDreamItBeIt · 26/03/2008 12:21

I bet your bil is a bit confused, too.

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 12:43

I sent another one explaining as I'm not sure he would have my mobile number so wouldn't have a clue where they were coming from, I've only got his because I have dh's old phone, but still my sim.

Phoenix · 26/03/2008 21:24

Where is everyone?

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/03/2008 22:02

Have been watching and discussing the Apprentice.

EachPeachPearMum · 26/03/2008 22:48

Am here, trying to catch up on all the thread I'm 'watching' .

dd's sleep is getting worse too, took nearly an hour tonight to get her to go down, and she keeps waking and yelling [grrr] Not even sure what's wrong when she wakes- just grumpy!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 26/03/2008 23:02

what muppets on there csws; even I was shocked at some of the ineptitudes!

Frizbe · 26/03/2008 23:09

Ah its the no sleep again thread! us too, dd1 got me up at eeeek 2.45 last night, then dd2 got dh up (I was pretending not to hear) an hour later, then again at 4am, then 6........

dd1 appears to have an earache tonight had one bout of screaming already, praying tiredness and nurofen gets us through to tomorrow morning with no further waking.....

CSWS as a vague glimer of hope to your plans, a friend of mine is holding off on her conservatory till later this year, as they're in green belt and have so far been refused planning, as they've already extended to the side, but, there is a change in planning law coming up and it means conservatories won't need planning apparently? would you like me to try and find out more for you?

MRM are you're hands n feet still swollen?

EachPeachPearMum · 26/03/2008 23:42

btw forgot to pmsl at Flame's eyebrow situation

sorry, i know tiger balm stings....

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 26/03/2008 23:43

Swelling gone down.

Ds1 hasoken 3 timesalready with leg pain

Frizbe · 26/03/2008 23:46

OK Drug Ds1, usually works here, or if you have a nice warm hot water bottle or one of those heatable bags of stuff, chuck one of those under his legs.

Ouch for the tiger balm too Flame, soz forgot to say earlier too which reminds me, as have some in the cabinet I could use on dd1 if necessary (has sniffles as well as earache) we also have some vicks rub, but its apparently out of date, though not sure if this can really happen, whaddya reckon?

EachPeachPearMum · 27/03/2008 00:11

What age can you use vicks from on children?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 27/03/2008 07:16

He has a beddy bear, but diidnt want anything touching hisleg. Calpolled him, but he woke later too. Ds2 woke 3..30 to come into uor bed. But we've only just got up this morn...hurray!!

DontDreamItBeIt · 27/03/2008 07:20

No idea about vicks...what did you do?

DS woke at two, and I had to wake up dp . I couldn't find my glasses, and won't even go up the stairs without them, so I had to get him to find them for me
By the time we'd found them (hidden on the middle of the table) ds has settled himself anyway.

Flamesparrow · 27/03/2008 07:56

DS woke at some point, but DH was still coming to bed so I ignored him and let DH get on with it I have no idea if that was midnight or later

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/03/2008 08:18

DD also woke again for a cuddle at 3am. What on earth is going on with them all?!

Friz - I think that planning rule is in already, but it only applies to sensible sized conservatories - above a certain size you still need permission, and ours goes above that size.

Phoenix · 27/03/2008 08:34

Ds is sleeping fine

Flamesparrow · 27/03/2008 08:42
mustrunmore · 27/03/2008 09:47

Ah, but now you've said that phoenix.....

Like csws admitting her plans arent of a sensible size

Jas, I think I've sold the 2 berry plush. Which is good, but also a bit as they were cute. They must've been getting too tifght though, as wen he had the spotty one on he kept tugging saying 'no doddy'.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/03/2008 10:33

Dd lasted till 5 lat night, but thankfully settled quite quickly without too much wailing.

Jas- I didn't use vicks on her yet, as I didn't know you could put it on littlies.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 27/03/2008 13:26

Can anyone help me over here?

OP posts:
DontDreamItBeIt · 27/03/2008 13:43

Sorry. I've had a look, but haven't lived there since al long time pre children, so really haven't a clue. Hope you find somewhere nice to go.
