the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

Meant to say for the school Frizbe. Can you tell i'm not very positive about what we'll hear?

DontDreamItBeIt · 29/03/2008 16:59

5 stalls? That is patheticI'm glad ds has been good enough to get his dvd though.

We've been to the farm and renewed my season ticket, as it will be double the price from next week.
We dodged the showers and ds enjoyed it so it is worth it for anoher year.

Yay for the school place Frizbe.

I think ds was taking notes from mrms ds2 last week. So far this week he has decided he doesn't need/won' use the high chair any more, and has taken to climbing out of the buggy as I'm pushing it! He can't get right out (yet) but gets his top half out and hangs right round the side, in just the right position for me to bash his head into lampposts as I'm passning.

Phoenix · 29/03/2008 18:36

Evening all

Jas - for filling.

Mrm - how is your dh now after his dental disaster?

Friz - for school place, i rang the school that i'd like ds to go to to put his name down. They said 'oh you're a bit early if he's only just gone 2. We only have names down from about a year before they're due to start'

EPPM - I didn't know the clocks went forward this week either. Dh is happy though cos he's on nights so will work an hour less

Ds is currently running from lounge to kitchen and back again with the dog following his every move, he thinks it hilarious

mustrunmore · 29/03/2008 18:40

You mean he didint also teach him to spit whe nhe doesnt get his own way???

Car boot is always crap because its on every single week, so people dont bother going all the time And its on our main road, ie not exactly a prime location! On the plus side, its only 20p for a huge cup of orange juice, which the boyssee as a trip to a cafe, because we sit in the 'conversatory' bit at the back!

mustrunmore · 29/03/2008 18:43

Oh, hello phoenix! Dh is fine ta; he went back yesterday for a filling on a differeent tooth (as opposed to the one he had removed!), but it was ok. His body is functioning again too, which is good as BIL arrives mon or tues, and we still have to paint half a kitchen, put the fire blanket and clock back up, get up the loft for things, spring clean, grocery shop for a 7yr old who wont eat any western food etc etc etc

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/03/2008 18:51

I'd never thought about people doing an hour's less work before - fab for your dh Phoenix.

Well, hub and hunker due in 45 mins and we still need to do bath and bed with dd, decide what to wear and dress, stick on a bit of slap, and then do just a little bit more cooking prep. Only on here as dd having a feed.

Is it wrong to lol at the vision of ds getting his head bashed on every lamp post whilst you march on regardless Jas?

Flamesparrow · 29/03/2008 20:00

Been away for the last 48 hours... anyone fancy doing me a round up?

EachPeachPearMum · 29/03/2008 20:06

mrm- where does bil live????

We went walking in Clent Hills this morning- managed to just miss the rain, as it was beautiful here first thing.

This afternoon we went to order our fridge to find out it had gone up £150

So cross!

dd used to do the lean out of the buggy till you hit a lamppost thingy too- but she seems to have stopped recently.

She hasn't worked out how to get out of the straps yet though

OP posts:
Frizbe · 29/03/2008 21:40

unlike dd2 eppm, had to stop the car twice today to put dd2 back into her car seat straps she 1st worked out how to do it last summer, but had stopped until today at your fridge costs.

Jas dd2 was doing the lean thing out of her buggy today, when I tried to put the raincover over her, so in the end I let her get soaked! We went to Litchfield for the day. Got a bargin ex shop ELC Toadstool tent for £8! Going to use it at events for the kids to play in this year.
at the cost of the farm going up so much.

MRM yay for dh's tooth being ok hope you get the kitchen finished before bil arrives!

Phoenix at you trying to get ds into school so early.

Flame round up, erm MRM! CSWS?

Hope you're all having a great night CSWS

Frizbe · 29/03/2008 21:44

Oh and something to make you all laugh.
dd1 takes new slip on plimsole shoes off in Cafe Nero today, leaves them on floor milkshake arrives and we split a quarter of it into a cup for dd2, 10 seconds later, dd2 is fidgiting on her chair, slips, drops shake straight into dd1's empty shoe, I kid you not, she couldn't have been a better shot I had to laugh, even the barista thought it funny as they came to help clear up the mess. Meridian bless her ran to the loo's to wash it out and blow dry it, whilst I helped mop up any excess that had splashed onto the floor dd1 not too impressed though, I told her that's why she shouldn't take her shoes off in cafe's!

mustrunmore · 29/03/2008 22:40

Nope, cant do a round up for Flame, as I'm on here so sporadically I cant emember what happened to the nearest week!

Have just swopped my front room round again, and its looks huge in comparison to how it wsa before No help from dh, who went for a lie down , so I'm there moving big bookcase, 2 settes, and a 165kg treadmill on my own!

EPPM, bil lives in Hong Kong.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 10:22

Um, I'm not sure that anything has happened in the last 48 hours flame, except Jas had a filling and Friz's dd1 got into the school they wanted.

Had a lovely night last night, and can now add a great veggie dish to my repertoire.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 10:49

What sort of time you coming tomorrow Jas?

DontDreamItBeIt · 30/03/2008 10:54

Whenever you want me.....10.30/11 ish???

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 10:58

Sounds good to me .

mustrunmore · 30/03/2008 11:04

Great veggie dish

Ds1 wants to know if the girls can be his cousins please Jas

I love my front room that way I swopped it round last night. This way, there's tons of room. csws, I could even fit in a proper sized x trainer now you know!

Just texted lovely neighbour; still in hosp, prob till Wed, in a bed next to 2 totally batty old birds who think they're in her house/at the theatre!

Wherre's Dame when you want her?? I need to know if Warwick station really is much closer than Warwick parkway to get to the castle!Because I think Warwick parkway is cheaper. And why cant I print a detailed enough map out on google, only a basic one?

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 11:10

Go on then - describe the room so that we can all get confused trying to picture it!

Veggie dish was lots of roasted veg (red onion, butternut squash, peppers, garlic, aubergine) which I then put into a pizza tray, sprinkled toasted pine nuts and feta cheese over, and then covered with puff pastry spread with pesto (pesto side down), and baked til pastry cooked, before upturning to serve (sort of like a tarte tartin) and sprinkling with parsley. Looked and tasted gorgeous, and everyone impressed. To make your mouths water further, I made mushroom risotto for starter and bread and butter pudding (or bought chocolate roulade) for dessert.

mustrunmore · 30/03/2008 11:26

Even the people who dont know what my room looks like??!!

pcstill by door. TReadmill opp that with runnnig part across front window, x trainer next to taht facing door, big settee same place, bookcase in corner diag opp door, small sttee across back window but pulled forward a bit, coffee table in corner where treadmill was, under shelf. White chair on the other side of hearth.

Food sounds v good!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2008 11:31

Apart from not being sure which corner the bookcase is in, I think I've got it!

mustrunmore · 30/03/2008 11:35

Bookcase poss whre ir was last time you came, as I tend to move it alot!! By the back window, on the left as you face window. but bookcase facing where treadmill used to be!

EachPeachPearMum · 30/03/2008 14:52

Sounds enormous!!!

(but I think I've said that before )

am very hungry and drooly now csws!

We were up most of the night- dd woke up howling evry hour- first it was teh wind and rain, which admittedly were horrendous, later- you've got me!

She has been whiny and mopey most of the morning, but has finally settled for a nap.

I had a mini lie-in this morning, as I have to do all the night-time get ups because she demands Mama.

It is beautiful here today though, and we went for a little walk before lunch, and actually had to take off gloves and hats, and open our coats as it was so warm.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 30/03/2008 15:05

Not very big at all. i'm just great at fitting things into small spaces

EachPeachPearMum · 30/03/2008 15:28

I think you should come and re-arrange my house then

OP posts:
DontDreamItBeIt · 30/03/2008 15:51

It is bigger than my sitting room I do think you do well to fit all that lot in without it looking really crowded though.

We'll see you tomorrow morning then csws

mustrunmore · 30/03/2008 18:10

Yes, but you've got 2 downstairs rooms you muppet!
