the TV remote is in the freezer, your car keys are down the loo, and there are little smears of food at knee height down each corridor!

How far is Warwick castle from me? If it happens on my day off can we come? If its not too far.

mustrunmore · 25/03/2008 12:19

Our Warwick is for the summer, but I'm meeting a friend up there during half term, as she lives so close to there and I never see her much!

damewashalot · 25/03/2008 12:21

Yes I though Warwick was more likely to be summer, but it has been being talked about for the last 2 yrs, hence my question

Is the train to castle question warwick? If so I'm rubbish at distances but I say about 20min walk, the 2 distances could be to the 2 different entrances maybe?

damewashalot · 25/03/2008 12:25

Although, in a couple of weeks when you lot are all on school hols would be a pretty good time as Warwickshire kids will all be back so it could be quiet, if a little chilly

YorkshirePhoenix · 25/03/2008 12:48

According to RAC it's about 2hrs to Warwick castle for me.

Frizbe · 25/03/2008 13:39

That's about right Phoenix, Warwick is about 1.15/1.30 from me. I'm up for meeting there! Knights ahoy!
and there's a Cafe Nero in the town centre as I recall, so good coffee too

Oh crumbs, what have I read again.....

Jas at fil, he should have told you and for him moving nearer you all.

CSWS must be a day for weird kids, I woke upto dd1 staring me in the face at 5.50am I sent her back to her bedroom, which reminds me, her whole floor of untidied toys is to go to the charity shop tomorrow, as she was being a deliberate pita this am, and that's what I threatened, so I best go throuh with it

MRM at your looney dreams what ever they are.

Flame yay for that one wee on the potty then, dd2 keeps yelling I want a wee, just after the event

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/03/2008 13:40

Oh, Monday would have suited me to visit you too mrm, but I can't do Friday. Any other days you are free?

Jas - you're welcome to visit me on Monday if you want.

Bad news this morning about our planning permission, thanks to an objection from the farmer who illegally bought next door last year (no, we never did follow up on it in the end, before anyone asks). Although we should be able to have the conservatory across the back of the living room and utility, they won't let us have it across the back of the existing conservatory too, so it will be much smaller than planned, and we'll only be able to access it from the living room . Very annoyed obviously.

Am happy to go to Warwick whenever, as long as dd isn't at school (starts 14th April).

DontDreamItBeIt · 25/03/2008 13:53

I'm up for a summer hols visit to Warwick, but where will we be with new babies then? csws will be V pg, and Dame will have an extra small person.....

re planning, csws. Is it too late to follow up on the purchase now?

Monday is my last free day next week. I'll check in case my rl friends have plans (unlikely) and if not, would love to come to you

I need to do lots of visits in case the car has to go in May. DP still wants to keep it

mustrunmore · 25/03/2008 17:10

So, if the new conservatory will go up to and along level with the old one, cant you just join them up and so get access from front room and kitchen? Like one big one?

Er, cant really do any other days next week.Mihjt be escaping one day if Flame decides she does want me after all , so I cant really eat into BIL's visit any more, given that he only gets over here once every 4 or 5 years!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/03/2008 17:36

Eh mrm? Wish you could do spaces on here so that I could draw the outline. Back of house will (on revised plan) run along the existing line for the back of the conservatory, then stick out into the garden and run along the rest of the back. How exactly would you join those up if you can't build at the back of the existing conservatory?

Flamesparrow · 25/03/2008 19:13

vibe me ladies!

mustrunmore · 25/03/2008 21:17

Erm, I've really tried, but I cant picture what you mean csws!! Sorry!

Am going to bed; just fell asleep putting ds1 to bed, after reading Captain Underpants to him And expecting a short night, as ds2 slept from 2.45pm, woke briefly at 5.30ish for nappy pjs and milk, then I put him t obed. He's screaming with a sore throat every time he coughs

Flamesparrow · 25/03/2008 21:44

MRM - I have a feeling that the existing conservatory finishes at the same place that the lounge does, so your theory doesn't work.

Is that right?

about evil farmer.

I have just been swimming I will probably regret it in the morning - was hoping it would unblock my sinuses but it didn't. Then decided to put tiger balm between my eyebrows to see if that would clear em... forgot I did my eyebrows before I went swimming - I look like this It hurts

Flamesparrow · 25/03/2008 21:44

for poorly boy

mustrunmore · 26/03/2008 08:00

See, flame knows what i'n on about!

Woken up this morn wirth swollen hands.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/03/2008 08:24

What do you mean - flame knows what you're on about? She is agreeing with me that you're talking rubbish!

Are swollen hands a sign of something sinister?

Swimming with bad sinuses is totally nuts you know flame!

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 08:33

OK so I've never seen csws's house but I'm picturing living room with conservatory next to it making back of house flat, new conserve was meant to go right the way across the back but can't because of evil farmer so now will be staggered back of house. That anything like what you are talking about?

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 08:36

Flame go and get some steam up your nose sinus pain is nasty but agree swimming mad.

Swollen hands?? is this new?

Hello everyone else

Flamesparrow · 26/03/2008 08:42

Normally swimming makes my nose run

Swollen hands sounds odd and slightly worrying

Lol @ you two though - I think Flame understood what she meant with how she was picturing the house with the current conservatory sticking out past the lounge, but that it was wrong and it is actually in line.

That right??

Someone fix my boy please.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/03/2008 08:43

Dame - go to the top of the class .

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 08:46

Confused because flame referred to something flame said in her post I'm out of touch what's wrong with your boy?
Got to go having hair pulled to turn head away from pc and boy saying no to me

Flamesparrow · 26/03/2008 08:50

Oi! Swhat I said!

damewashalot · 26/03/2008 08:51

But I've never been there and was just proving that you explained well flame

Flamesparrow · 26/03/2008 08:51

Lol - that was because there was a lot of "Flame understands" and "Flame said" so I thought I should agree.

The boy won't sleep through the night. I am sick of being exhausted.

mustrunmore · 26/03/2008 09:01

Ok. so I diid know what I meant, and so diid flame, Its irrelevant that the house isnt how I thought it was

Swollen toes too Still going to go to aerobics and see how it goes. Ds1 really wants to go; he's a good conscience!

Flame, we had a shit night too... after the mammoth ill slepp, ds2 was up at 3something for brekkie. after already having been in our bed since 1 or 2. TBH, he wakes most nights too; if I go in, I can settle him in 20 mins, if dh ogo4ws in, he doesnt bother ,he just brings him to our room , so now he's learninig to com ni himself. Are you sure there's not an external noise at 2.30 that sets him off?
