Morning - wilkie I saw you on here last night you were meant to be packing

Its stopped raining here but very windy!

Hattie so so much better this morning, eaten some breakfast no sick since yesterday morning and happily playing in playroom with Ellie although shit nights sleep but that is her cough and teeth

Wilkie - got to your Mums you'll be bored at home all day, Hattie & I have to go and get a birthday present whilst E at school then think my brother and nephew coming over (his buyers are being so slow so I am going to explain the whole process to him so he can chase estate agents and knwo what he is talking about)

laughalot · 12/03/2008 08:20

Im a such a bad mummy decided not to send aidan to nursery as the wind is really bad im sure he would be dragged away by the wind on second thoughts might give it a try . Thanks lth his rash is still there and it does look like it going down his legs. He isnt unwell and he dosent have a temp just the rash. Right lauren has done a poo what joy.

Wilkie · 12/03/2008 18:21

Went to mums - had a lovely day. Took J to Clarks. He is measuring a 5F!!!! He is wearing a 3 1/2 H - bad momma

Reggiee · 12/03/2008 18:42

5F!!!!!!!!!! That's twice Pip's size (yes RGee becasue that's how feet sizing works ).

Just collapsed after being on the treadmill again. I feel sick and my throat is burning. This is not good for me.

ladytophamhatt · 12/03/2008 19:23

WHY are you going on a treadmill?

God...I've got a total brainfudge and can't think who is PG on our thread.

Reggie...aren't YOU one of our PG ladies?

PG + treadmill = You are insane.

Nothing much here today, waited and waited for the shop to call about my shoes being in, they said they'd call 1st thing.

1st thing was about 1pm
Drove around E'bourne after picking the boys up from school for 20 minutes trying to find a parking free space, drove around and around but couldn't find one.
Ended up paying £4.50 in teh station carpark for 15 minutes parking

I do have lovely new shoes now though
I'm wearing them right now in fact

G has been such a misery today. I can only assume he's going to be ill again. God knows what it will be this time.....

LaL, I hope the rash fades soon, I was thinking about my post last night( at about 4am this morning actaully) and teh "I concider myself..blah blah blah" bit especially.
I forgot the 's off the end and it sounds like a right busy-body/ know-it-all/annoying fucker type of comment without them.
I have seen what feels like billions of post viral rashes over the years but I'm not really an expert...or an annoying fucker

Better go and get the boys to bed. DH has gone out tonight so that means I don't have to put up with them they'll get an early night.

eandh · 12/03/2008 19:30

for rgee

Hattie is a 3.5 f and has been since she started walking (thank god blimmin shoes are to expensive)

Hattie back to her normal self (Except had 2 sleeps today) eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner and not thrown up, we went to park this afternoon and normally she loves runnng around and she just sat on the bottom of the slide with a 'I am not impressed' look on her face.

Had Eddas ds this morning as preschool staff had sickness and they needed a helper to make numbers up, normally he sleeps the whole morning but bought him home from school and him and Hattie seem to find my feather dusters highly entertaining, they spent 2 hours playing with them and didnt bother me once

Am dreading Easter as dh working every day except Easter Sunday and my Mum and Dad are going away so I am going to be very bored and since I am trying not to spend money will/cannot go out anywhere.

Ellies easter fayre on Tuesday, easter bonnet made, just got to do lucky dip bags and make the raffle hampers up (have got to collect all the raffle prizes from another Mum at weekend.

Had a text from Suzicutie earlier, they are trying to work things out but its small steps and its taken her dh a few days to sink in that she is truly unhappy and think he has now reliased how close he is to losing them, so fingers crossed (she did say it was ok to post )

eandh · 12/03/2008 19:32

Vino due in July
Dragonhart due in August

ladytophamhatt · 12/03/2008 19:33

so reggie isn't PG then?

god. I had a brain once.

eandh · 12/03/2008 19:34

nope just the 2 of them (and a few ttc I think!)

Reggiee · 12/03/2008 19:42

Eah pmsl!!!
lth - sadly not pg. DH doesn't want another (sound familiar?)

Am looking forward to my pie that dh is now cooking.

Am treadmill-ing as dh has just bought one (he runs marathons and I stop him going out running all the time). I entered a 10km run this June and have done nothing since being pg hence am fat and unfit.

canofworms · 12/03/2008 20:17

Evening,

Rgee - lol at running. I have to have an incentive to go out running so I'm doing the great north run in October most I've managed so far is 1.5 miles (think I've got a bit more training to do)

Wilkie - 5F! That seems so big! Lo doesn't have any shoes at the moment as she grew out of her crawlers and isn't yet walking so lady in Clarks said not to bother just yet. I'm sick of taking her everywhere with bare feet sticking out the pushchair though!

Still quite windy here and it's so noisy on the back bedroom windows! Unfortunately we have roadworks at the front of the house with a great metal board covering the road so every time a car goes past it makes a loud sound bit like a clap of thunder! I just want some peace and quiet!!!!

Been to a kids party tonight with all 3 so they're shattered, I'm just cooking tea for dh who will be home soon. He's just flown in from Ireland and rather him than me on that plane tonight!

laughalot · 12/03/2008 20:27

Lth you were only helping me out you werent bossy at all.

Right cant stay on long stopping at mil tonight xxxxxxxxxx

Shimmer · 12/03/2008 20:28

Yikes. Don't push yourself too much with the treadmilling Rgee!!

Who's ttc??? Have I missed some posts, or are you just keeping quiet? Come on. Out with it!!!

I am desperate to have another LO at the moment. But I know we can't right now, and it's just pissing me off!! We live in a 2 bedroom flat and we promised we'd move to a 3/4 bed house with garden before the next one. But we can't afford anything we like and part of me (and i know DP) really likes where we are now... so it's probably going to be AGES. Is it a really stupid idea to have 2 kids in a 2 bedroom flat? I might start a thread asking tips on baby/toddler sharing a room. Hmmmm.... just saying that sounds like a nightmare...

Wilkie I reckon F might be into size 5s soon. He's been in 4 for quite a few months now and has grown loads recently (hence some INCREDABLE eating recently. Almost non-stop!!) I just took him for his 12 month check ( )last week and he's 98th centile for height. He had MMR jabs too, which went as well as can be expected.

Lal hope DS's rash fades soon.

Suzie, if you're around, hope you're doing alright.

eandh · 12/03/2008 20:37

shimmer - loads of people have 2 children sharing a room (mixed sexes as well) and I know a few other mnetters are in flats in central locations (edinburgh etc) and have 2 children in 2 beds so not unworkable at all!

ladytophamhatt · 12/03/2008 20:45

Shimmer, until we moved to this house 2 of ours shared a room, and in the house before that.

I sahred a room with my sister and there 8 yrs diff between us.

Go on have a another one{grin]

I was holding a little girl at playgroup this morning. She was 14 weeks and just soo adorable. Everyone was rolling their eyes at me with the "Ohhh here she goes agian" look. I welled up at one point just thinking about having one more.
FGS....I hate being broody and I hate DH for making be broody again.

Wilkie · 12/03/2008 20:54

I'm broody too!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to have another! Only 9 months till TTC...(if all goes according to plan)!

IJ has always had mahoosive hands/feet/willy. My DTN's are 2 years old and only in 5 1/2F so I guess I have Big Foot Henderson!!

Anyone know where to get cheap, comfy single divan beds? Dsis is gonna put the DTs into beds and I said I would source (which generally means I email EAH, she does all the leg work and then I take all the credit )

Wilkie · 12/03/2008 20:54

Whose 'IJ'???? Note to self: sons name is J. J. J. J. J

laughalot · 12/03/2008 20:57

Argos wilks cheap and comfy

eandh · 12/03/2008 20:58

We got urs from here £75 incl mattress

ladytophamhatt · 12/03/2008 21:00

hmmm, i was just gonna say NOT argos, we got bunk beds from there and the although the frames is strong/sturdy the mattresses are shite.

The normal bed are probably better though.

eandh · 12/03/2008 21:00

argos with storage slightly cheaper without storage

looshkin · 12/03/2008 21:22

Evening all,

Wilkie size 5 wow, ds has not been measured yet as still making no attempt to walk just happy cruising along. I went to the shoe shop in Lindley which is fab but at £30-£60 ago I think I will keep him barefoot for longer (until he can buy his own) By the way GO AND PACK!!!!!

eandh = glad H seems to be on the mend, say hello to susie from us. You are our shopping guru

shimmer - go on have another pleeease so we can get excited

LTH - fingers crossed G is OK and just being grumpy for no clear reason as all boys seem to be.

RGee - treadmill blimey woman of steel

CofW - dh did the great north run a few years ago and embarrassingly it took me as long to walk/train from beginning to end (mind you did stop off for cheeky lunch/drink half way as my legs were 'hurting') I nearly missed him over the finish line.

2H- where are you, I start posting again and you clear off something I said??

Well news from our camp is dh has CMV (cytomegalovirus) colitis which has made him so ill because of his chemo, they have let him home on night leave as he was threatening to walk out as there is a man on the ward who shouts and screams ALL night he looks worse than when he went in. So he will get treatment and should feel much better however major complicating factor is mil (his mum) is also on chemo and sil is pregnant so we may never see our family EVER EVER again if he doesn't manage to clear the virus or at least for 8 months - blardy hell 8 months without a babysitter (mil has been our saviour) -

Really should get to bed incase one of my injured soldiers wakes up (house full of males - dh ds x2 boy cats but nothing compared to LTH of course.

Lizzzombie · 13/03/2008 10:57

Morning!
Can honestly say I am not broody at all.
After having LO scream at me in an over tired, my teeth are hurting, the calpol didnt touch the sides way this morning its put me off having another baby for life! My neighbour in the adjoining house is due in June and I swear she must be shaking with fear having to listed to my LO scream his head off.

Haven't yet taken him to the drs re mystery rash, will sort out today. I think it possibly could be exema as he is scratching it like mad...unless, can nappy rash be extended down their legs ever?

We got his first little walker shoes yesterday! I had thought his pram shoes seemed a bit small at size 3. I was right. He is a 4F. And now in big boy shoes!

Have to agree with LTH re Argos beds. Piece of crap. Wish we'd never got ours from there.
We ordered it on a special promotion, they charged us twice, then took a week to reimburse us. We were living in a 4th floor flat and I was heavily pg when they delivered they said they didnt do deliveries to flats and dumped it in the hallway. When we finally got it upstairs and put together one of the legs was broken. I hate argos.

Right, off to phone Dr.

Lizzzombie · 13/03/2008 11:00

ps - Looshkin - Hope the G&T did the trick last night. You sound like you need a double in my opinion. x

looshkin · 13/03/2008 11:40

Not really lookig at MN supposed to be sorting out dh

Lizz - Argos has been the cause of much strife in my life after I bought a three wheeled veg trolley for kitchen (why I thought three wheels would be steady is another problem but hey) every time either me, a cat, dh, or the wind changed outside the damn thing would fall over bloomin grapes/onions etc all over floor cats scared to death me pissed off at treading on grapes for the rest of the day but ds thought it was very funny. I has been dumped.

We are trying to buy more stuff like food household goods etc at more local shops as they are dying a death round here, it makes life 1000% harder ie need to get to greengrocers butchers bakers etc but ds seems to like the veg lady who feeds him stuff but I see so many patients who have lost everything recently I really couldn't look them in the eye anymore whilst my nectar card was burning a hole in my bag .

Right better go hopefully dh will be discharged today.
