Morning!
I am with sainsbury's since I went to get T a rain coat and they had 2 pink flowery ones and no little boy ones!
Though I do like their baby clothes in general!
Water off this morning so off to baby group then stand talking at the end to try to make it to 12.30 when it should be back on again!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/02/2008 08:39

morning all

I have a day off today, my internet is working

I thought it had stopped working cos I haven't paid the bill, I have the money in my account but I've lost the bill and can't work out how to pay it without .

I've not even bothered to try to log on til this morning, when I remembered that last time trying to access the internet gave me the bt page with the number to call and pay, I log in and hey - I have internet!

which means that either someone has paid it for me or there was just a glitch the other night and I'v elost valuable MN time for no reason

It also means I still don't know how to pay my bill

That kind of thing happens to me all the time Pillock, just ring up and give them your name and address, I'm sure they'll be able to access your last bill!

CaptainDippy · 29/02/2008 09:43

Morning!

elkiedee · 29/02/2008 10:25

Welcome back POTC

My internet is on direct debit but I do that sort of thing all the time with other bills.

SPB, your water is off again?

CaptainDippy · 29/02/2008 10:46

Hi Elkie!

oooggs · 29/02/2008 11:25

morning all

well katy last night wasn't so good

Jack woke screaming at 12.30pm - he has been sick, then Erin awake (she soon went back off) then James wandering around (he also went straight back off)

DH came to see what all noise about [gmm] Jack then threw all stomach contains over dh so took him in with us (travel cot still up from last time) he proceed to wake every 2 hours (2am, 4am & 6.30am) to be sick but nothing there so just urging & bile.

Remembered then that at 4pm he knocked his temple so rang nhs direct at 7.15am who wanted him at A&E asap.
So ring dh to come back home, he had only been at work 10 mins.

then left with ds2 to hospital about 20mins away in next county. He has been checked, he is fine and I am knackered.

DH back at work, dts asleep and ds1 and I have just made mothers day cards for my mum and dhs' mum.

twins club after lunch - catch you all later

nice car seat wo, gmm & katy is that the one you lot are going for?

CaptainDippy · 29/02/2008 11:38

Oh oooggs {{{{{hugs}}}} You poor thing. Hope today is better. xx

Pesha · 29/02/2008 11:39

Oooggs - sorry you had such a crap night Glad it was nothing serious with Jack though.

Katy - i have the priori xp for D and was N's before. Not the isofix though as we didnt have a car that had isofix thing then. I noticed the new ones say it has a play tray, mine doesnt have that Would be very useful I think.

Ange - Happy Birthday for yesterday - hope you had a good day I would have sent you a text yesterday but dp broke my phone when we were at Ellie's by offending me when I'd had 10 1 too many drinks and causing me to throw my phone at him, missing and hitting the wall Men eh

Well dp's car is definitely a write off but in a way its good it happened now as his MOT was due in March and would have cost quite abit to get it through I think so at least it happened before that. We also managed to get quite a good price from them, more than we would have got selling it so its not too bad. My car needs a new gear box, it only had a new gear box 18 months ago so thats £750 So we have decided to get a new car and trade mine in and use DP's settlement so we just have 1 car which is what we were going to do all along but never got round to selling dp's because it needed so much work doing. Have had to get a loan but repayments about the same as what we were paying on tax, insurance, running costs etc having 2 cars. We've paid a deposit and just waiting for my car to be fixed before we get it. New one is 04 so newer, only 25000 miles and much more reliable than fucking peugeots! DP is soooo excited!!!

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 11:42

oh no oooggs, what an awful night - maybe it was my wishes for a good one for you - I spread bad luck!
Glad Jack was OK, do you think it's just a bug?
Yes, water was off at 8.30, at 9.30 just before we went out I tried it again and it was on again Makes a nice change!

Sexonlegs · 29/02/2008 12:03

Afternoon folks.

Oooggs, what a shocking night. Hope things improve. I hope it isn't yet another bug - your lo's only had it a few weeks ago ddn't they?

POTC, enjoy your day off.

Hi Pesha, any news on your job application?

Hi to everyone else. Have read stuff and now forgotten it!

Have been inspired by IDOC and Maveta and have bought a butternut squash! Need to find the old threads to see what I am supposed to do with it! Looks rather phallic to me! Do we have a recipe thread going somewhere?

Hope everyone is ok. All ok here. K seems over the bug and isn't as whingy today thank God. I was losing the will to live yesterday.

CaptainDippy · 29/02/2008 12:13

Yey for new cars and water!! ..... and YEY for DH on his way home right now!! Should be home in 1/2 hour

Pesha · 29/02/2008 12:23

YAY Dippy!!!

No news from any of the jobs SOL [impatient]

Pesha · 29/02/2008 12:26

Ooops

Also meant to say glad K is seeming better now

D has awful sticky, red puffy eyes although seems fine in himself. Yesterday was supposed to be his first day at childminder for me to go to dd's workshop but cms not allowed children with contagious diseases so had to wake dp up to have him for me.

And SPB glad the water came back on so quick

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 12:40

glad K is better SOL, and now D is ill, pesha Hope he's over it soon
yes - very phallic SOL, I always have a little snigger when cutting one up! How old do you lot think I am btw - I would be really interested to know your guesses and won't take offense (no sneaking a peek at my profile)
Glad your Dh will be home soon Dippy
Have just been to breastfeeding support group and they were giving out info on ABM bfc training. I'm tempted...at least initially by the Mother Supporter thing which is only a few hours work, until I find out more about the bfc thing. How much help can I be when most of my knowledge of problems will be theortical as I'm lucky enough to have had it fairly easy??
T is making moany / crying noises in his sleep

Eddas · 29/02/2008 12:44

I guess 32 SPB

Have to admit to being suprised by how old/young people are in general on our thread. It's too hard to tell from written words. I probably come across at about 13

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 12:46

warm...
Me too! That's why I ask, it's a good gauge of whether I come across as as mature as I'm meant to be!

Eddas · 29/02/2008 12:47

Have just checked, ooopps not too far out

Eddas · 29/02/2008 12:48

dd has just asked for red and salted crisps

Pesha · 29/02/2008 13:01

SPB - I would guess about the same age as me so late 20s, possibly 30, no younger than 28. But I'm not sure if thats just cos I have read youir profile in the past so I know you're similar to me without consciously remembering iyswim?

Eddas - you mean you're not 13?!

Oh yeah spb - bfc things sounds good, have thought of doing it myself. They give you alof training I think so even if you've not experienced problems its more about the positive attitude you have to bfing and I would imagine you've read alot on here so are aware of the problems and struggles people can have.

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 13:10

red? did she mean bread?
yes, I'm 28, glad you didn't guess 19! (Not that there's anything wrong with being 19, but I was a very childish 19)
I've been looking into it Pesha, think I'll start with the Mother Supporter thing, and then decide. You have to be a member of the ABM for 4 months anyway before you can start the bfc,so that's kind of decided for me!
If you do decide to do it, please let me know, I'd like someone to study with!

Eddas · 29/02/2008 13:15

cheek! Not actually 13 but I do look it Did I tell you all that I got asked for id again the other day in Morrison I had the worst hang over at the time so I guess I looked rough

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 13:18

did you really?? Don't worry, by the time you're 40 or 50 you'll be able to get served no problems!

Eddas · 29/02/2008 13:22

yes I realy did get asked lol

StealthPolarBear · 29/02/2008 14:19

Well - just changed T's nappy so of course he has filled it ... bath time I think!
